The Buu Saga

Prologue: Bididi was the most powerful sorcerer ever. He created the ultimate creature Majin Buu and enslaved it to do his bidding. With Majin Buu's help he quickly began to take over the universe. The Grand Kais tried to stop him, but one by one they all fell to Buu's might. When ever Bibidi's magic exhausted, he would seal Buu inside a magic ball. One time while Buu was sealed up the Supreme Kai was able to kill Bididi. Not wanting to risk awakening Buu he left Buu's ball buried deep in the earth. Unfortunatley, Bibidi had a son Babidi who has learned all of his father's spells, and plans to pick up where his dad left off.

It was time for Gohan's match against Kibito in The World's Greatest Martial Arts Tournement. They got into the ring and Kibito asked him to go super saiyan. Gohan goes super saiyan 2 to show off his powers. This sets off Majin Yamu's and Majin Spopovich's energy scanners. Knowing what's about to happen Kaioshin asks Goku to stay out of the ring no matter what happens. Vegeta asks Kaioshin who he is to tell them what to do. Piccolo reveals to everyone that Kaioshin is the Supreme Kai. Majin Yamu and Majin Spopovich show up and grabbed Gohan and inject their energy drainer into him. Using his power to restrain Gohan Kaioshin helped Yamu and Spopovich take Gohan's energy. Krillin and Videl try to help Gohan, but Goku and Piccolo stop them. After stealing Gohan's energy they fly off with Kaioshin in hot pursuit. Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, and Vegeta chase after them while Videl runs to Gohan. Kibito heals Gohan and then Gohan and Videl go with Kibito.

Kaioshin explains everything about Bibidi, Babidi and Buu to earth's fighters, and not far behind Kibito explains it Gohan and Videl. Realizing she's in over her head Videl drops off, and then Kibito and Gohan catch up to the others. They land in a mountain range nearby Babidi's ship. They see Yamu and Spopovich land near a doorway to what looks like an outhouse. Kaioshin realizes that Babidi buried his ship. Babidi and two henchmen step out of the ship. Kaioshin gasps in shock to see that Babidi was able to enslave Dabura the King of demons. Babidi takes the energy drainer from Spopovich and then rewards him with death. He has one of his slaves kill Yamu. He tells Dabura that he senses a lot of pure energy coming from three of the fighters watching them from the cliffs. He tells Dabura to lure them and the Supreme Kai onto the ship, but the other three are expendable.

Dabura flies up to the mountain range and blasts Kibito into oblivion. Then he spits on Krillin. Piccolo charges at him, and gets spit on too. Then they turn to stone. Goku becomes angry and attacks him. Dabura dodges his attack and then Vegeta attacks him. Dabura tells them that this is a warning and that he'll give them a chance to flee for their lives then heads toward the ship. Angry Goku and Gohan chase after him. Vegeta decides he's going where Goku's going. Kaioshin tells them that he'll stay back and watch the statues of Krillin and Piccolo, but changes his mind. They enter Babidi's ship and find Majin Pui Pui waiting for them. Pui Pui welcomes them to stage one of Babidi's ship. He explains that Babidi's ship has five stages, and to get to stage five they would need to defeat the fighter at each stage. He tells them that he is the fighter at stage one and asks them who he'll be fighting first.

After winning a long game of Rock Paper Scissors, Vegeta gets to fight Pui Pui first. They begin fighting but Pui Pui can't even land a punch. Babidi transports them to Pui Pui's home planet where the gravity is ten times that of earth's. Vegeta tells Pui Pui that he doesn't even feel the gravity and proves it when the resume fighting. Seeing no challenge in his fight Vegeta finishes it. They go down to stage two where Majin Yakon is waiting. He and Goku begin to fight but Yakon does no better than Pui Pui could. Babidi transports them to the planet Dark. Yakon's home planet. There they wouldn't be able to see him. Unfortunatley for Yakon Goku could still sense him and smell him. Goku goes super saiyan to light up the planet just for the fun of it. Yakon eats the light energy until Goku is no longer a super saiyan. Goku goes super saiyan again but stays transformed long enough for Yakon to eat too much light energy and explode.

The descend to stage three. After long wait Dabura, who had been focusing his dark power, shows up. He and Gohan begin fighting. Vegeta sees that Gohan might lose and argues with Goku to let him fight instead. in that instant Dabura was able to notice the darkness in Vegeta's heart. He leaves the fight telling them that another fighter will take his place. They wonder who he was talking about and wait for this fighter to show. Kaioshin realizes that Dabura was talking about Vegeta. Thats when Vegeta begins to clutch his head in pain. Instead of explaining the situation to a bewildered Goku and Gohan. Kaioshin urges Vegeta to fight Babidi's magic. After a long struggle Vegeta manages to stand up revealing the M on his forehead, Babidi's insignia.

Babidi transports them to the Tournement. Vegeta tried to convince Goku to fight him and was successful when he destroyed many helpless spectators. Goku tells Babidi to transport them to a deserted place first or he won't fight. Babidi does so. Realizing that he can't stop them, Kaioshin decides that he and Gohan will continue on to stage five. While fighting Vegeta tells Goku that he let Babidi enslave him because he knew Babidi's magic could increase his power. Meanwhile Gohan and Kaioshin breeze through stage four and arrive at stage five. There they find Babidi and Dabura waiting for them, in front of Buu's shell. Babidi transports them outside. Before any fighting can begin Buu becomes completely energized. Gohan tries to destroy it with energy blasts, but to no avail. The shell opens up and pink smoke comes out. Kaioshin laughs at Babidi telling him that Buu has been destroyed. Gohan stares at the the smoke which slowly turns into Buu.

Everyone stares at Buu amazed at childlike he was and how weak he appeared. Babidi at first has trouble controling Buu, but threatens to return him to his ball and Buu listens up. Dabura calls Buu a bumbling idiot. Buu gets steamed, literally, and kicks Dabura sending him flying into the mountains. Babidi now orders Buu to destroy the Supreme Kai. Gohan and the Kai try to escape but Buu cuts them off he knocks Gohan out and then the Supreme Kai. Majin Buu decides to eat the Supreme Kai. Trunks and Goten arrive at the mountain range outside Babidi's ship. Videl had told them about Majin Buu and they wanted to see him for themselves. They see the statue's of Krillin and Piccolo. Trunks breaks Piccolo's statue accidently but figures it doesn't matter. They looked onto the battle field and began to wonder what was going on.

Goku and Vegeta were still fighting. Goku tried to convince him into helping him fight Buu. Vegeta agrees and while Goku's back is turned he knocks Goku out. He takes Goku's sensu bean and continues on to stage five to fight Majin Buu. Back on the battlefield, Dabura gets back up and tries to destroy Majin Buu. Dabura tries to convince Babidi that Majin Buu is too powerful to be controlled. He continues his best efforts to destroy it. Majin Buu turns Dabura into a cookie and eats him. Back in the mountain range. Trunks and Goten witness Krillin's statue turning into Krillin. They realize that the statues weren't regular statues. Trunks realizes that he killed Piccolo. Piccolo appears and decends to where they're standing. Trunks asks him how he fixed himself. Piccolo explains that he can regenerate his body as long as his head is intact.

Majin Buu was trying to figure out what kind of food he should turn the supreme kai into, when Babidi's ship blew up. Vegeta appears ready to fight Buu. They start fighting and Vegeta pounds his face in, literally, while Trunks and Goten cheer him on. Buu corrects his face and they continue fighting. Vegeta then blasts a gaping hole through Buu's stomach. Buu heals himself again leaving Vegeta in doubt whether or not this creature can be beaten. Buu rips off some of his stomach and uses it to wrap up Vegeta. He plays around with Vegeta. This makes Trunks so angry that he charges up to super saiyan and rushes to the battle field, with Goten trailing closely behind. Piccolo sneaks up and Babidi and kills him, while Trunks and Goten untie Vegeta. Vegeta and Trunks have a little Father-Son moment and then Vegeta knocks him unconcious. Vegeta quickly does the same to Goten and has Piccolo carry them away. Piccolo and Krillin make a get away, when Buu returns. Vegeta realizes that it's time to stop being selfish and to do something noble for a change. Vegeta self-destructs and blowing himself up and taking Majin Buu with him.

Piccolo and Krillin carry the children to a safe distance and watch helplessly as the battle ends. The shockwave from Vegeta's blast could even be felt by Bulma's group. The blast knocks their plane out of the sky. Thinking quickly, Eighteen catches the plane and lets it down gently. Yamcha starts the repairs. Back on the battle field, Piccolo hands the kids to Krillin and tells him to take them to Kami's lookout. He then flies over to where Vegeta died to pay his last respects. He sees Babidi worming and swiggling but leaves him to die. Looking around Piccolo sees bits and pieces of Majin Buu everywhere. The pieces begin swiggling. They eventually form into minaiature Buus. Piccolo looks on in horror as the mini-buus fuse together into ultimately one Buu. Piccolo panics and flees to find Krillin. He catches up to Krillin and tells him the bad news. Together they come with a plan to safeguard and train Goten and Trunks until they're strong enough to face Majin Buu. They hurry to the lookout.

The rejuveunated Buu begins to dance when he hears Babidi calling him. Babidi urges Buu to heal him. At first Buu is coy and refuses to help. Babidi gets smart and threatens to seal Buu back up. Once rejeuvenated Babidi hops on Buu's back, and they fly off together. Babaidi begins to plot revenge. Meanwhile Bulma's group had been searching for the dragonballs and had already found six. The last dragonball was in a bird's nest. Bulma went to get it herself when she was attacked by a giant dinosaur. It swallows the whole nest dragonball and all. Videl flies after it and the dinosaur dives into a nearby lake. She dives in after him. Yamcha and Chi Chi dive in to help her. Eighteen kicks Roshi into the lake. The dinosaur emerges from the lake, with Roshi about to fall on him. He opens his mouth wanting to swallow him when Roshi farts. The smell makes the beast cough up the ball. With all seven balls they hop on the plane and head back to Capsule Corp. Miles away Goku finally wakes up. He tries to figure what happened. Although he can't sense Gohan's or Vegeta's energy, he was able to detect Krillin and Piccolo's. Using the instant transmission technique he teleports to Krillin's and Piccolo's location. They fill him in on all that had gone on. Goku tells them about a fusion technique he learned from the medamaries of otherworld called fusion, but proclaims it useless since Vegeta and Gohan are the only ones he compatible enough with him for the technique to work. Mr. Popo suggests that the technique could be taught to Goten and Trunks. They continue planning Buu's defeat when the sky turns dark. They realize that Bulma has summoned the eternal dragon. Knowing that this could ruin their plans Goku teleports to Capsule Corp to stop her from using them. When he gets there he finds that they had already used the first wish to bring back all the good people that had previously died that day. Goku stops them from making a second wish and tells Shenron they don't have anymore wishes so he will leave. Using Instant transmission he takes them back with him to Kami's lookout.

Back on Earth, Kibito is reborn. He is at first confused since he remembers his death. He senses the Supreme Kai's faint energy and rushes to his side. The Kai had snuck away from the battle in serch for Gohan whom he believed to be Earth's last hope. Kibito finds the Kai unconcious and revives him. Kaioshin tells his partner to help him find Gohan. Kibito quickly finds him and points him out. Kaioshin tells Kibito to teleport them back to otherworld. When they get there they revive Gohan. Kaioshin tells the others to follow him. Kibito magically changes Gohan's clothes. They comes to a sword lodged in a mountain. Kaioshin tells Gohan to pull it out. Gohan tries but is unsucessful. Kaioshin tells him to do it again as a Super Saiyan. This time Gohan manages to pull it out. The head to a nearby valley where Kaioshin tells Gohan to learn to fight with the sword. According to ancient legends he who learns to wield the sword shall become the strongest fighter of the universe.

Babidi begins his mission of revenge. He broadcasts a message to the world telling them to find Piccolo, Goten and Trunks. He has Majin Buu kill all of the residents of a nearby city, and then has Buu level it. He then tells the people of Earth that he and Buu will keep destroying cities until Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten come out of hiding. He soon receives a message telling him that Trunks lives at Capule Corporation in West City. Babidi broadcasts a new message telling everyone that he'll be heading to West City to meet Trunks. Bulma tells Goku to do something about it because her parents are still in West City, but Goku says not to bother since they can be revived with the dragonballs. Bulma suddenly remembers that she left the dragon radar at Capsule Corporation. Goku sends Trunks to West City to get while he goes to stall Buu. Buu was too strong, so Goku had to transform to Super Saiyan 3. A level he discovered while training in other world. It took Trunks a long time to find the radar so Goku and Buu fought for a while. When Trunks finally finds the radar and heads back, Goku stops fighting. He tells Buu in two days a fighter stronger than him will come to fight, then leaves using Instant Transmission. Babidi orders Buu to find Goku. Sick of Babidi's orders, Buu destroys him.

Goku and Trunks return to Kami's look-out and begin the training. Baba appears and tells Goku he has only a half hour left. Goku explains to everyone that Super Saiyan 3 drained his life force. Goku teaches Trunks and Goten the series of poses involved in the Fusion Dance. After training a bit, Goten and Trunks ask Goku to show them Super Saiyan 3. Goku relectuntly agrees. After Goku shows them the transformation, Baba appears to tell Goku his time is up. Goku says his goodbyes and returns to other world. He goes to see King Yemma. Goku asks Yemma if Gohan has checked in yet and where he is. Yemma tells Goku that Gohan hasn't checked in. Goku realizes that Gohan is alive and uses Instant Transmission to find him. He teleports to the Supreme Kai's planet where Gohan is training with the Z sword. After seeing how skilled Gohan is with it they decide to test out its power. Goku throws a giant boulder at Gohan and slices it in half using the sword. Kaioshin decides to give it a real test of power and gives Goku a block of kacheen to try with. Goku hurls the kacheen but the Z sword breaks in half when Gohan tries to cut the block. Kibito and Kaioshin are astonished that the sword could be destroyed. The group decides to com up with a new plan. Suddenly a stranger appears on the planet. He claims to a Supreme Kai from fifteen generations before the current one, and that he was sealed inside the Z sword because of his immense powers. Goku tests his powers out by shooting an energy ball at him. The ball strikes down the Kai, who angrily explains that it was his immense magical powers, not physical powers, that people feared. He had the ability to untap a warriors hidden power. The kai agrees to awaken Gohan's hidden powers in return for a kiss from Bulma. He and Gohan begin the 25 hour ritual.

Back on Earth Goten and Trunks master the dance and where ready to use it. After a few unsuccesful attempts Gotenks was born. Piccolo tells him to wait the half-hour to unfuse and try again as Super Saiyans. Gotenks explains that he is strong enough to pull it off as he is. He flies away in search of Buu. Gotenks finds Buu and challenges him to fight. Just as Piccolo had warned him, Gotenks is no match for Buu. He returns to the look-out bruised and battered. Buu makes himself a home and goes there to relax. Hercule goes to Buu's attempting to destroy him. Unexpectedly they become friends. Buu finds an injured dog and heals him. The three of them become best friends. Hercule convinces Buu to stop killing people. Soon, escaped convicts arrive at Buu's and shoot Buu's dog Bee. Buu heals Bee, and Hercule beats them up. It's not long before they return this time shooting Hercule. Buu becomes very angry, but heals Hercule. He runs outside and steams. A grey cloud appears above him. It forms into another creature claiming to be Majin Buu. The two Buus fight. The good Buu tries to turn the other in choclate, but the other deflects the attack. Good Buu is turned into choclate. The new Buu eats him and then transforms into a new form. This new Buu has the ability to sense Ki and jets off to the look-out. When he gets there, Buu uses his new Human Extinction Attack to anhialate the remainder of Earth's Population. Only Hercule, Bee, Tien and Chaiotzu survive the attack. Piccolo stalls Buu by telling him to wait an hour for the fighter Goku told him of. He rushes Trunks and Goten into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and tells them that they can train for hours in it.

While waiting, Chi Chi walks up to Buu and slaps him for killing Gohan. Buu turns her into an egg and kills her. After waiting for a half-hour Buu smashes the hour glass Piccolo gave him to keep time with, and demands to be taken to the fighter. Piccolo leads him to the time chamber, taking an extra long route. They both enter. Buu begins to fight and Trunks tells him to wait until they tell him to fight back. They begin the fusion dance. Gotenks attacks Buu but can't hurt him. He tranforms into a Super Saiyan and tries to destroy Buu using the various techniques he developed while training in the chamber. With nothing working Gotenks reveals his Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. He cleverly uses it to blow up Majin Buu. Piccolo orders Gotenks to help him destroy the pieces of Buu remembering that Vegeta had done the same thing and the pieces just regenerated. The bits pieces of Buu evapourate once destroyed. They form into a cloud over head and soon become Majin Buu. Gotenks decides to use his strongest attack. Before he can use it Piccolo destroys the gateway between the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Earth. The idea of never having chocolate again motivates Buu to find a way out. He screams open a portal to earth and escapes. The portal shuts before Piccolo or Gotenks can get out. Buu turns on the humans on the look out. He turns them all into chocolate and eats them. In the time chamber Piccolo and Gotenks try to scream open a vortex but to no avail. Gotenks decides to reveal the technique he was going to use before Piccolo destroyed the gateway. He transforms into a Super Saiyan 3 and screams open a portal. They return to the look-out to find everyone gone. Majin Buu and Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks resume fighting. Their battle destroys Kami's look-out and escalates to Earth. Despite their best attempts the battle is even. Gotenks time runs out and he defuses into Goten and Trunks.

Gohan finally finishes his training with the Elder Kai. Gohan asks him how to use the new power. The kai tells him to transform into a Super Saiyan. Gohan powers up to unbelievable levels of power but doesn't actually transform. Kibito takes Gohan to Earth and gives him a Gi identical to his dad's to wear. Kibito then returns to other world. Gohan heads to the battle field. Gohan arrives in a nick of time to save Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten. He and Buu begin fighting, and it's obvious that Buu can't win. Buu soon self-detonates in a final attempt to destroy Gohan, but fails. They all begin to search for any survivors of Buu's human extinction attack. They find Dende, Hercule, and the dog Bee, After about an hour, Buu returns. Strangely enough, he wants to fight Gotenks. After some taunting he convinces Gohan to step down and let Gotenks fight. Goten and Trunks do the fusion dance. Before Gotenks can begin fighting, he and Piccolo are attacked by pink slime. The slime envelopes them, then joins with Buu. Buu transforms, becoming much more powerful, and begins fighting again. This time Gohan is losing. Meanwhile in otherworld King Yemma realizes he needs to do something about Buu. He has Baba do like she did to Goku, and sends his strongest fighter to Earth to fight Buu. Up at Kaioshin's planet the Eldest Kai does the same. He sacrifices his life to give to Goku, so that Goku can return to Earth. He gives Goku the Potaru earings instructing him on how to use them, so he can fuse with Gohan.
