Cut stencils in the shapes of numbers, letters, patterns or symbols.  Fill them in with crayons, markers or paint to create cards, make patterns or just to practice writing.

What you will need:

plastic lids from coffee cans or margarine containers
white paper
scissors
pencil
pen
an adult

Here's How:

Draw numbers, letters, patterns or symbols with a pen on the plastic lids.  Ask an adult to help you poke a hole in the lid and begin cutting out the shape.  Finish cutting out the shape of ask an adult to cut it out for you.  Trace the shapes onto white paper.
