"My Parents"

Hazel Marie MORGAN b. 27 Feb 1914 d. 16 Feb 1999----Leroy Alexander BRYSON b. 14 Aug 1905 d. 19 Apr 1857

Mom and dad divorced in 1937 (when I was 5)and I knew very little about him as I grew up and even at the time of Mom's death she remembered very little about him. I have since found more data on him and his pedigree. (In my genealogy data base).

This photo of dad was taken with the GREER family who raised dad as one of their own. It seems that dad's mother, Lucy WRIGHT, died at a young age, his father, William BRYSON just up and split. So Dad and his sister, Lelia BRYSON, were raised by others. Dad was raised by the GREER family. As for his sister Lelia, Cencus records of 1910 has her enumerated at age 6 with George WRIGHT age 68 and wife Sarah age 69 in Greene County, PA. Morman file film # 1,372,680 Soundex. as being grand daughter Lelia BRISON. I have found no record of their father, William BRYSON or what happened to him, or his ancestors.
