All the members of Bluewater went to Hammond High School in Columbia and met there, except Brian who was too cool to go to Hammond.  The Band is currently centered in Columbia, which is where all the band members live.

John and Bill both attend UMBC, Brian goes to UMB, and Ben and Jamie, are running amuck at HCC.  If you see any of us in our natural habitats feel free to walk up, say hi, and mention the band.  Chances are if you run into us at the right time we'll even give you a free CD.

What is your favorite band?

Jamie: Phish
Bill : Dave Matthews Band
Ben: Pink Floyd
Brian: Craig's Brother
John: Sublime

Describe Bluewater's Style.  What makes you guys different from other bands out there?

Jamie:  Well....I think we're good.

Bill:  I guess the important thing is that each member brings something unique and different to the chemistry of the group.  The seperate backgrounds of each member blend into a colorful and unique sound that leaves listeners amazed, relaxed, happy, and sometimes confused.  We're always trying to be fresh and insightful, it's important to me that each show is a unique listening experience.  If you're a fan of music, I think you'll be a fan of ours.

Ben:  DUH...What?  Yeah, I go out with truckdrivers all the time.  What's wrong with that?

Brian:  It's a post modern impressionist movement as we see it in our own existentialist way.
