Beer Review: Weihenstephan Dark

I found this draught to be a smooth and rich German beer with hints of chocolate. Its consistency was that of a brown ale, and its aftertaste was not as earthy and strong as other German dark beers (e.g., Spaten Ultimator). Its web site boasts that Weihenstephan is the world’s oldest brewery (since 1040 AD). I would recommend this and have it again at first opportunity. -- Dopplebock
