Beer Review: Warsteiner Premium Verum

Lighter in color than the prior Warsteiner brew I had sampled, there existed a surprisingly sharp taste to this beer. Also not knowing its type, I'm calling it a lager (know what it is? e me!). Like the Dunkel from Warsteiner, this also seemed a little 'smoky' in flavor (skunked?). The smokiness was the only real aftertaste, and the beer seemed solid, body-wise (light-to-medium). A sharp, crisp beer, this was a decent brew.
