Beer Review: Victory Moonglow Weizenbock
Growler Guy generously offered me some of this brew to review -- one I already knew he heartily enjoyed. Medium in color, with a medium-to-light body, this beer was unfiltered, evident by the sediment present. The aroma was sweet and fruity. An off-white (tan / orange) head formed upon pouring. Moonglow possessed a very smooth, light taste that finished with fruit notes. I found this interesting as the color had led me to expect a heavier taste than I found was present. A very nice beer! (Note: I realize this brew could be listed under either Bocks or Wheats - I'll place it under the latter.) -- Brewmeister G
