Beer Review: Saranac Black Forest

This beer had a dark black-brown-red color to it and a medium body, with no bite or hops detected. I really could not find the 'caramel malt sweetness' promised on the label. In fact, not only did I find no real sweetness in this brew, I tasted no real distinctive flavors at all. Great color, mediocre beer. -- Brewmeister G
