Beer Review: Oktoberfest Bier (Sweet Water)
The first beer I sampled at the Cap City Oktoberfest left me wondering if my strategy of trying only Oktoberfest and Fest beers was going to be a big, big mistake. This brew was not very sweet and did not have a very pronounced taste at all. No hop notes were present in the medium body of this med-to-lighter colored offering. A slight, semi-unpleasant aftertaste was there, though, leaving me wondering. This was at best only a so-so beer and at worst a not very good beer.
