Beer Review: Hair of the Dog Lager
I was quite surprised to read the description of this beer and find it an 'Oktoberfest style lager'! Freshness was never an issue, however, as I found out upon sampling this lager. Medium in color, and medium-to-light in body, there was a slight sweetness to the aroma (a la some Oktoberfests). Clear, not cloudy, -- it was labelled as being 'unfiltered', though -- this was smooth, with a slight bit of hops on the end. Very nice.... A nice 'Fest -- not passive, this brew said 'Hi! I'm here!'. Good stuff! -- Brewmeister G
