Beer Review: Firestone Walkers Reserve
The final offering from the good folks at Firestone Walker, I strongly looked forward to trying this porter. I had this week already tried their Double Barrel Ale, Lager, and Pale Ale, and I had enjoyed them all. The bottle proclaimed this brew 'a limited-production Reserve crafted in small batches and uniquely conditioned in American oak barrels'. Dark in color, with a medium-to-heavy body, I was immediately struck by the very nice roasted flavor this beer possessed. Smooth and enjoyable, this was a very nice beer. -- Brewmeister G
