Beer Review: Anderson Valley Poleeko Gold Pale Ale

A silver medal winner at the 2001 World Beer Championships, this beer was medium-to-lighter in both color and body. My second brew-by-the-pool that evening, and the second AVBC beer in a row for me, I detected light hops notes on this fairly smooth offering. Overall, though, I found this to be only an okay pale ale. -- Brewmeister G
