Universe Trunks

This is a list of all of the known members of Trunks's family. There's a family tree at the bottom. Trunks has a very interesting heritage. He comes from a line of royal Saiyans and a line of geniuses! I thought that was pretty cool.

Father: Vegeta
|
Vegeta is the son of King Vegeta and therefore, the prince of all Saiyans. In the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, he is a bad guy serving under the tyrant of the universe, Frieza. After Frieza is beaten by Goku, Vegeta stays on the Earth. He does go out in space to look for Goku for a while, but he comes back. He didn't have anywhere else to stay. He has a son with Bulma. This baby is Trunks! As time goes on, Vegeta slowly evolves into a good guy. He starts to like his life on the Earth, and he develops a love for his family. Near the end of Dragon Ball Z, he has another child with Bulma. This time, she's a girl named Bra. He's still a very cranky guy with a huge ego and a lot of pride, but I think that by the end, all of the evil that was once in his heart has left him. He even sacrifices his own life to save his family.

Bulma is a scientific genius. She inherited Capsule Corporation from her father. She is a great inventor. She meets Goku early in Dragon Ball and she gets him to go on her quest for Dragon Balls with her. Later on, she goes to Namek with Gohan and Krillin to find the Dragon Balls there. After Mirai (future) Trunks tells Goku about the androids, Vegeta starts to train over at the Capsule Corp. building. He trains in a little room in which he can increase the gravity. I think that that's when Bulma realizes her love for him. She and Vegeta have a son named Trunks. They also have a daughter named Bra. Bulma can be very temperamental sometimes. She's a very feisty person and doesn't hesitate to give orders. I think that she and Vegeta compliment each other very well.

Trunks comes from a line of royal Saiyans. His grandfather was a king. I don't know much about him. For some reason, he had to give Vegeta to Frieza. Frieza killed him when he tried to rescue his son from Frieza's grasp. A lot of people think that he was mean and heartless, but I don't think so. I mean, he tried to save Vegeta! He couldn't be all bad!

Grandfather (mother's side): Dr. Briefs
|
One of Trunks's grandfathers was a king, and the other is a genius! What a cool family! Dr. Briefs is the genius behind those wonderful little capsules and the founder of Capsule Corporation. He's the one who spiffed up Goku's spaceship so that he could fly to Namek! The Frieza saga would have never happened if it weren't for Dr. Briefs. Also, he always has that weird black cat around him. I don't know why, and I don't know what it is. But it's just always there. It's creepy!

Not much is known about her. Nobody even knows her name! She's pretty much just a housewife, and I hear she can make a good cookie and dessert things. For some reason, she hardly ever opens her eyes.

I don't know very much about Bra. I haven't seen her in the anime yet. From what I've gathered, she's pretty much spoiled. She's got her father wrapped around her finger, and he'll do anything for her. She's pretty cool looking, too. Although I hate her outfit in GT. It seems that she has inherited both her mother's and her father's attitude.

Vegeta Jr. is Vegeta's great grandson. I don't know how he's related to Trunks. He's either his grandson, or his great nephew. I'm leaning more towards the nephew thing, because I don't think that Trunks is very interested in getting married and that sort of thing. But you never know. Vegeta Jr. is seen in the last episode of Dragon Ball GT fighting Goku Jr. Even though he has very little Saiyan blood, he can still turn into a Super Saiyan.
