Updates/News
09/30/02 - Well, I've gone through battles and everything, and have finally finished up the touranment!! Check the tournament page to see who got what, also, for all ties, you have until saturday to get your battles in. If I see your oppenant on alot, and your not on, I will give it to them. Congradulations to everyone who has won something. Keep training, finish your battles if they are not done.

09/26/02 - Alright all, i'm extending it a few more days, until noon saturday for battles to get in. Mainly because I'm busy and I know some people still need their battles done. Same place and everything and good luck again

09/24/02 - Okay, short note. Tomorrow all the matches have to be in, if not, it's going to be very bad. It's looking good and all, some upsets I didn't expect to happen. So keep training and get ready for the saga (which probably won't happen any time really soon)

09/21/02 - Alright everyone, today is the begining of the tournament!! Now, this one will be diffferent from the other tournaments we have had in the past. The singles and doubles will be done round robin style. That means that you fight everyone in your divsion, in no particular order, just when you see them on, you fight them. You can die in both the singles and doubles divsions, so give before you die, cause no one wants people to die (and get DQ'ed). Also in doubles, i'm allowing people to run, but not getting the entire team to lose. Of course once both run they lose, but if one is almost dead, then they don't have to burdon their buddy by taking double damage. Just so it's known, no senzu's are allowed, and your allowed to add armor and weighted clothing stats to what you have posted, unless those included them, then you use what's there. That's all that i can think of, check the tournament page for who your fighting, and where to send the matches. Like LZ said below, if it isn't logged and sent, the battle didn't happen, so make sure you do that. Good luck to everyone, and have fun!!
NEW NOTE- Few things I forgot, specials ARE NOT allowed in the singles divsion. That means SSJ, any transformations ((besides the basic alien transformation and the namek size increase)) or any moves you might have gotten. In the doubles specials are allowed.

09/20/02 - Wow, time has certainly flown. I've been extra busy with work, school, other online commitments, and preparing to send out my university and college applications, as well as preparing for our oh-so-unwanted gouvernment exams. I've completed a few quests, at the expense of being backed-up in updating the three members in my inbox, people arriving on planets and leaving them, working on the new trainings, and checking the Bandwidth. I am instating a new policy for Quests, that will be in effect until I state otherwise. After you send in your Quest form, if it is properly filled out (Copied and pasted the whole form, and filled every field out appropriately), there will be a five week period for us to get online, and me to have the time to quest you. If the five weeks pass, I will send the stats to the other staff, and see if it can get done faster with more people looking out for it.
I am glad to see that the tournament has started, under the direction of our newest staff member. Please send in your recorded battles to the patourny email address that you sent your initial sign-up to. If you battle, but have no log of it, the battle DID NOT OCCUR!!! Ensure that logs are taken!
As for trainings, I've had a few (Only about fourty or so...) people ask about when they are coming, where they will be, etc. The next person to ask about them will be penalized (1d20)*100 credits. 100-2000. The person after that gets a 1d40. The next a 1d80. This will go up until you finally learn! I have several moves made up, but nothing fully set, yet. I've had complaints from Good people saying how Evil is too strong, and Evil saying how they're too weak and Good is too strong, and Neutrals complaining about how they stink, and Good/Evil saying how Neutral rocks, and people complainings about Humans, then about Androids, then Saiyans.... It goes on and on. Well, can't please everyone, I suppose.
We are fast approaching 150,000 Hits. I am pleased to see that we still retain some semblance of popularity, even during the school year. However, there is a great deal of inactivity going on in the site, as well as overdue debts. Two events that will be occuring around the end of the month will be Taxes; Debts autopaid, and if you don't have enough cash, you will lose some to the bank, until you can pay it back. Also, there will be inactive member removals, based off of participation in the RPG (in spars). Most Elites should be immune to this, as well as a few select cases I know about (Jaemez, for instance). However, if you haven't been sparring, moving or anything in the past little while, you are likely to be scheduled for deletion.
I am also making minor adjustments to a few moves, as well as updating the FAQ to account for the mistakes and a few changes that have occured to the RPG. Warrior Self-Healing has been fixed, to prevent the insane heals that Podrin has experienced, and Group-Healing appears to be working fine. A few of the new things might cause some controversey(My lord, I've forgotten how to spell that word...), but then again, they always do. I expect that everyone will be happy with what they get, or else I might start taking away priviledges as the unreasonable complaints start rolling in.
Lastly, we still have a few deceased members, including Wolfwood and Stratus. I am surprised that Stratus has remained faithful to the RPG, and rather than quit and start as a new member, he has remained diligent to this one. This king of integrity(I can't spell, tonight...) should be rewarded... Maybe by someone questing for his revival? Either way, keep checking the forums, training, and preparing for the (eventually-)upcoming saga!

09/15/02 - Alright, after much thought, I have decided to delay the deadline for the entrances another two days. We could use more in all the divsions, especially the doubles and the battle royal. Currently we don't have enough for any of the divisions to be able to battle for doubles, and the battle royals are more like a honor match at the moment. It's only 100 credits and you get at least one set of free spar stats jsut for joining, so there isn't much to really lose!! Keep training and sign up for the tournament, who know's what it is you could win......
-Hoboman
09/13/02 - Hey all, nothing really to say, a few people have signed up for the tournament. Sad thing is that it's basically that, a few people. Past few weeks/months a lot of people have wanted a tournament, now, when one is going on, we are having very few sign ups and i'm very disappointed in this. For each thing you are in you get a spars worth of boosts, and for a fairly cheap cost you can get some nice stuff, and have a lot of fun, so if you haven't yet, sign up!!
-Hoboman
09/10/02 - OK, one thing I want everything to do. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO SEND THINGS. Past 4 days i've deleted probably 10 e-mails for being sent in wrong, that includes EVERY tournament entry i've gotten so far. To repeat, you MUST send in your PL, HP, KI/Skill (for non-warriors) and speed. Also, make sure you tell me specifically which you are entering, and if in doubles who your partner is.The e-mail, again, is patourney@hotmail.com. On another, less stressed out note, if you check the tourney page, the fourth tournament is up, you will be able to see how things are divided, and who has entered. That's all for now, train, check the forums, and sign up for the tournament!!!.
-Hoboman
NEW NOTE: I want you to include what your Signature is at when you send, to make things easier, sorry for the inconvience.
09/09/02 - Ok, today's the day to start sign-ups. It will go until the 15th,100 credits a piece for the singles, doubles, and battle royal. If in doubles. state who you are with. One thing i'm doing is once you sign up, you can't drop out, but if you only sign up for, say, the singles, but want to join the battle royal, I will allow it as long as I recieve the e-mail before 15th. I want you to send me all your stats, and what your signature move is at. The e-mail is patourney@hotmail.com, that's all for now until i get the chance to talk to LZ. Keep training, checking the forums, and sign up for the tournament!!
-Hoboman
09/03/02 - All right everyone, I have thought about it and have been able to talk to LZ to confirm everything is all right. The tournament is planned to start on the 21st of September. There will be the average tournament, but there also will be a 2 vs. 2 group battle bracket and at the very end there will be a Battle Royal. The group battle might be divided up into two divisions, depending on how many people sign up, and that's the same with the battle royal. The main part of it, the regular tournament format will have PL divisions like this ((this is tentative right now, these could change, as well as the starting date)) 10k - 95k, 96k - 149k, 150k-250k, 251k-375k, 376k-475K, 476k-550k, and then 550K+. Now this tourney I’m planning on taking the week after the 21st, we have way too many people nowadays in the RPG to try and do it in one day, so make sure you will be able to get on for a half an hour each day. If you can't make it, then I will do what I can to make sure you get penalized, cause you signing up means you will be able to make the tournament and those days. Sign ups will start on the 9th and go to the 14th, why so long? I want people to be at their best, so if they miss spars to max out on their division, fine, but when you send me the e-mail ((not my regular, I will make one up before the tourney, cause I know I will get people sending me stuff before then)) I want you to include your current stats, after majin and clothing/armor, and I want you to copy what trainings you have as well, I don't want someone sending in stats, then a week later getting a training, and getting moves that they shouldn't have, though if you get the training before you send stats it's fine. Anyway, that's it for now; keep training for the tournament, and good luck to you all
