Character Pic/Description: The physically largest of the android trio, 16, although he existed in Mirai Trunks' timeline, was not activated and therefore unknown to the part-saiyan. He never turned out to be of much evil use though,as he refused to fight anyone but Goku(which he never did). Upon the appearance of Cell, he proved to be the most powerful of himself and his two comrades, and probably would've defeated the bio-android had Cell not absorbed 17 before 16 could finish him off. After narrowly escaping with his life, 16 began to enjoy the Earth and marveled at its creatures. He was finally destroyed by Cell while trying to self-destruct and kill him to save the planet, but his explosives were removed, unbeknownst to him.

After running for his life from Vegeta and the Z-fighters, Dr. Gero returns to his lab where he tries to convince #17 and his sister to fight the Z-team. The androids don't like being told what to do, so #17 kills his creator by kicking his head off and then crushing it. Accompanied by #18 and #16, they go off seeking Goku. #17 was a strong fighter, and could have beaten Super Saiyan Vegeta even though Vegeta killed #19 like nothing. However, #17 soon gives up on destroying Goku when he is forced to flee for his life from Cell. He is eventually absorbed by Cell allowing Cell to turn into his 2nd Form. He briefly makes
another appearance in DBGT.
