The Power Advantage DBZ RPG News Archives: October

Updates/News

10/31/01 - It seems Gokan is unable to make that time, but it would be close. FRIDAY, November 2nd, at 4:30 PM PST will most likely be the Ginyu Saga. I have heard that some of you 'get together' at this time, or the like, but we are running on short notice, and people will be growing too fast if this is postponed another week; All spars, moves and purchases would have to be shut down for a week, effectively shutting down the RPG. I think the Saturday time will stay for Rimoah; 6:00PM PST

10/30/01 - Alright people I have a few things to get striaght. 1) When you send in a move you need to send it right or you will not be moved being you will be in trouble for the Sagas. When u send it in you send it in (and this is the last time now on I will not reply back I will just delete and forget) First is Race followed by name then what sqaure you are in now and then the one u want to move to. eg. Pure saiyan Brolli 4a,to 1c. That is how it will be if not you will not be moved or get a reply back. 2) I keep being asked about all kinds of thing that I don't know anything about. I'm only a Spar/Move updator everything else is either MCrashinNow or Lander Z job not mine if you ask me a question that isn't about how something works (as in battle attacks and that much) , about spars/moves, or why you didn't get an attack at certian power level. I will not anwser you back. So be careful about what you ask cause i only do minor stuff for the rpg so just to put that on notice. Other then that peace out.
-Brolli

10/30/01 - Just a quick update or two. Karthias was the first to fully crack the Namek Language. Also, the Rimoah Battle will be this Saturday, at 6:00PM PST. Sign up for it ASAP by emailing me. Also, I am pretty sure that Sunday at 3:00PM PST will be Ginyu; Gokan, email me if this is an alright time with you. So, I expect everyone shown up to be there; Piccolo Daimao is being put on temporary probation due to his not showing up to the past Zarbon match, and Lenx will be wiped from the RPG, as will Tenchi, for missed matches. Also, I think I might have a few goodies for tomorrow night; maybe a few Battale royales and games for fun and credits. You'll have to show up to find out.
-LanderZ

10/28/01 - Our hits for today and tomorrow had better be good! We just had the Zarbon Saga battle, and it was long, drawn out, tedious, and just under averagely done. I made a first chat, asking everyone to stay silent. Of course, not 30 seconds later people are talking, and some not even obeying RPG-etiquette (Speach in parenthesis, etc.). So, I up and left that chat, and took a breather. I come back, and people behave the second time around. I'm still perturbed about people not speaking properly, or speaking during a storyline, and the like, but I expect you will all improve; if not, you will be punished. And badly. So, the saga continued, and due to a bad choice made by the members, Evenflow died. Kagato had a pre-planned death; he stalled for time against Frieza, and was slughtered [off screen]. Gokan and Mirai Trunks are both 'on their way' to Namek, with their King Kaio trainings. Not only are the dead revived to where the Dragonballs are that revive them, they were also specifically asked to come to 'the living plane of Namek'. Speaking of which, I am offering 300 credits to anyone who thinks they can crack my Namekian language AND keep it a secret. This will also teach them Namekian. It may be a small sum, but I'm not too particular about giving out cash after this afternoon. A few hints on it: "Ej euxv ueq Bob ste el oir ud ondem." is "I wish for Bob to be the king of the world.", roughly translated. Names are identical. So, if you can figure out the rules to the language, keep it a secret, and email me first, you win a prize of 300 credits and the language itself. I'm warning you now; it may not even be feasible for many people. Also, for the remaining Saga parts, I am hoping to have Ginyu Friday, November 3rd, at 3:00PM PST. I believe Gokan can be online at this time, as he will be in the fight. I will check with him; perhaps he can't be online then, which would mean no time then, and it would be on the Sunday, probably in the morning or so. I am also hoping for the Rimoah match to be this Friday, at 6:00PM PST; E-mail me by Tuesday at Noon if you have a problem with this. The people who need to be there are Vegeta, Gokou, Reno and Paikuhan. The first people to IM me saying that they're available will most likely be allowed to go, though. So, check the saga logs, and the Ginyu battle people make your way to C2 on Namek. Keep checking the site and forums, and training for the remainder of the Sagas!
-LanderZ

10/28/01 - Today is the day of the Zarbon Saga and I have just finished updating. That will be all the updating I will be doing before the saga. If you send in a purchase now and you want it before the saga, it won't be updated in time for it. Sorry to all who need something right before the saga but you should of sent it in earlier. Good luck to everyone in the Saga, hopefully not many will die. Especially me :)
-MCrashinNow

10/26/01 - Our hits are dropping like the proverbial flies! Comeon, guys, keep checking the site!
Well, the Dodoria partion of the battle went well; Galaxia didn't show, nor did Hongo. Galaxia has been very ill, and busy, and was able to get online long enough to realize that he put his Daylight Savings Time switch ahead, and to let me know of his predicament. He will not be deleted. Hongo, however, has a very short time to email me his reason for not showing, or be deleted. Tenchi is being deleted, anyways. We had 2 deaths; Torebian and Ryouga, and they were both very noble (Ifnor could have saved Torebian, but didn't). Evangelion, Ifnor and Karthias survived to beat Dodoria, and all got a Scouter, and 600 credits, while Ifnor got that and another 100 credits. Great job in Saga etiquette, too; That when exceptionally well. Organized, and well played out, I can honestly say I am looking forward to seeing these people grow into the RPG leaders with time, if they continue as they are, now. Remember; The Zarbon Saga date is Sunday. I expect you all to be moved to D1 or have moves for it by then, and I expect the people signed up for it to be present. 3:00PM PST, people. If the time goes back, we'll use that; I'm not entirely sure about that. Also, Brolli and MCrashinNow will both update right before then (In the morning, if you must) so if you want any last updates from them, have them in tomorrow. I will update new members and ship-stat gains tomorrow, as well.
-LanderZ

10/25/01 - Rather disappointed with yesterday's 34 hits; We can't only check the site when I update, people!
So, the first Saga match is tomorrow, like I stated before, and there will, as I said, be no spectators in the room. I hope to keep things orderly; The only person who hasn't replied about showing up is Tenchi, who looks as though he may be inactive. Not much news otherwise; I'm planning the next battles to be the following Friday; I'll have more for you on Saturday, as well as the new members updated then (I am waiting since they decide to harass me and the staff about not being updated yet when their form was sent in three days prior; you guys are lucky you don't get an IP kick from joining the RPG...). So, not much to say, except that you should all keep checking the site, and prepare for the sagas; I also would like to warn those not in the right squares at the time of their battles that you guys will get 0 spars the following week, even if you just missed the square, etc. A small penalty, but maybe it'll work as an incentive.
-LanderZ

10/23/01 - Rankings are staying relatively high; It seems we have around 45-50 people who check the site every day, and that's pretty good.
The Quiz contest has come to a closing, with Tobias pulling out in front, and winning a 70% chance of getting the Namekian language (Which he got) and he then chose the stat boost prize; 50k PL, 50 HP and KI, 5 Skill and Speed. Reno came second, and chose 1600 credits, and Krillen chose the Unknown prize, and is allowed to, at any time, use 3 weeks (Not consecutively) to get 5 spars/moves in those weeks, instead of the usual 4. Spar limits still apply, however, but when big-grid planets come out, it may prove useful. Also, the Saga starts Friday, and I am going to have to say that no spectators be present; The whole point of dividing it up is to have fewer people in a chatroom at any given time. Lastly, Evangelion has enslaved Galaxia, Evenflow, and Lenx with Majin Control, and boosted their stats, as well. I need to see a letter from Evangelion stating what they are permitted to do before any purchases/moves/spars go through with these people. Also, the Majin stats will not get you new attacks or Signature move upgrades faster; it's simply an in-battle stat boost, as shown in the [brackets]. Still useful, though, but how useful, as compared to the inconveniance, is the question...
-LanderZ

10/22/01 - This update here is just a note to let everyone know that the Zarbon battle will be at D1 (6 moves across the planet) and Dodoria will be C3, regardless of what I said before about it. Roark has moved with Tobias, but since his car fits 4 people, I will update the next 2 people who ask/email me to have him take them to D1. This will mean you have NOT sparred/done anything yet this week, and use no spars in the moves, but pay Tobias 150 credits (3 spars worth of cash) for his transport services. You're getting stats for the week without the cash.
[NOTE: The car seats are taken by Hitogoroshi and Piccolo Daimao.]
[NEW NOTE: Tobias asked me to switch Piccolo Daimao's spot with Dark's. Since it's his car, he has the power to do this.]
-LanderZ

10/21/01 - Minor updates. Hits are looking good, with over 50 per day for the last 2 days, and new recruits updated sometime soon. I am still awaiting to see Ninja online with Krillen and Reno, but that's alright. The Saga stuff starts this Friday, and you may move around Namek tomorrow, even though it'll say on a ship for the most part of the day. Be sure you're at the right locations! I'll post the Zarbon location tomorrow, so keep at LEAST 2 spars/moves for that!
-LanderZ

10/19/01 - Just a last update, I suppose. I did some random minor updates, explained a few things, got pointed out that the ships arrive on the 22nd, not 24th, (You finish up the 22nd day on the 21st, and can do as you wish the next day), and the last rounds of the contest are coming to an end. Tobias and Reno duked it out in wits, quizzing eachother in attempts to Stump their opponent. The scores were based largely on if I knew the answer, meaning it wasn't based on huge impossible details. That score was tied at 62 vs 62, and then they quizzed eachother SPEED-round. 40 seconds to get a question and post it, 30 to answer; Tobias made a stunning answer of Yamcha's voice actor, and won the contest. He learned Namekian (He had a 70% chance) and then had his choice of 4 prizes, which will not be revealed here. He chose his; a Stat boost, and all the others slightly decrease in value as they will be passed down. Second place, the winner of the Loser's Bracket, will get next pick at the prizes, third place at the remainders of that, and fourth place gets 500 credits for participating. So, we need Krillen, Ninja, Reno and myself to all be online for the quizzing (I am the announcer; Roark got bumped), and then we can be done with the smarts and get back to good ol' brute force!!
-LanderZ

10/19/01 - Our hits have been fluctating, from a constant 42-46, to 36, to 48... We'll hope it stays at this 48, I suppose.
Well, no-one can complain about me not updating; I double checked all signature moves, today, and made a few changes to outdated ones. Also, the next round of the contest has started, the Loser's Bracket end, and Ninja and Chibi Goten remain to be questioned, though. This one is a doozy, with only the top 2 moving on to finals. Everyone making it that far, after this round, gets a default 100 credits for their outstanding DBZ knowledge. So, I hope to see the last two tonight, so we can get that finished. I also expect everyone I have been emailing to show up for the Sagas; The only person I think, who has not replied for the Dodoria portion is Tenchi, who is a Sword-less Swordsman. So, I hope to hear from them soon; The Dodoria battle is next Friday, at 6:00PM PST, and The following Sunday, at 3:00PM PST will be the Zarbon match. I expect everyone who I am not still emailing to be there, and those I am still emailing, you had best be there, too. If you do not show up to your battle, you have a 95% chance of being booted from the RPG, permanently. So, I will continue updating today, and let you guys know that you're on Namek now, save for the last two shiploads, and that you need to save moves to get to the locations of the matches, so leave 2 spars open next week (Or go to the previously stated Dodoria spot, or the zone where Zarbon fought Vegeta for that match). Keep checking the site, and forums, and I hope to update again later tonight!
-LanderZ

10/16/01 - Well, not much for news. Rankings staying average, and I am scheduling the Zarbon battles to be Saturday, October 27th. I will send an email like I did for the Dodoria Battle (Which Hongo and I think Tenchi have not replied, yet), so check your email for it if you're to be in that battle.
-LanderZ

10/14/01 - Well, minor updates tonight. I wasn't available much this weekend, but no-one has seemed to have seen Vegeta, so he will not be continuing in the contest. On the other hand, both Krillen and Roark passed with 100% on their Loser's Bracket questions, and will not be eliminated. Vegeta and 16, congratulations for making it this far. We had 52 hits yesterday and 46 today (Individual), so those are looking a little better.
So, for the Winner's Bracket, Tobias and Reno will stay there, and Brolli, Chibi Goten and Ninja will move to the Loser's Bracket. The questions for this time were:
1) How many different characters have actually fired a Genki Dama, and who?
[Gokou and Krillen]

2) Who was the person that awoke Bebi and then later Bebi took control of and killed?
[Dr. Myuu]

3) What 2 times before the Buu battles, in DBZ, does it show Vegeta eating food?
[On first DBZ planet, and before Buu World Tourny]

And for the Loser's Bracket:
1) Who all kills Vegeta in DBZ(Of all timelines)?
[Himself, 17, and Frieza]

2) What happens in Gohan first match of the World Martial Arts Tournament during the Buu saga?
[Namu and Supopobitchi stole his energy]

3) Which DBZ character comes the closest to exactly matching Dabura's (The Demonlord's) full power?
[Fully powered Cell, or Chibi Gohan]

4) (For Roark) Who created Artificial 17?
[Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero]

So, you can see how you did, there.
I will send out a Saga-email list for the Dodoria people tomorrow, to ensure they all know that they are to be part of the battle. I haven't heard any complaints oon the date as of yet, so I think we'll be sticking with it.
Also, at 400,000 PL, there will be a new Spar-limit of 1 per week, but you get 100 credits for it. Once we get 4-5 more people with 250,000 PL, that limit will be removed, and the 400,000 one will be 2 spars per week, at regular pay.
Other than that, not much to say; I've gotten a lot of email suggestion for new weapons and the like, but consider the facts! We have a 2d15 weapon for 2000 credits at cheapest price, with a turn limit and 1d10 recoil. Don't try sending in 3d8 with 1d3 recoil for 1800, or 2d14+10 with 1d5 recoil, etc. Those would make the present weapons obsolete, which we are not going to do. A last note, someone with the Email address "sk84lyfe@yahoo.com" has been trying to join as Chibi Gohan, and their form is fine, but the Email Address does not work. I cannot send them any emails; I get a delivery status note of failure. Until I see that their email address works, they will not be put into the RPG.
So, more Saga information will be coming out this week, so keep training and preparing for the Saga, by checking the site and forums daily. Also, please ensure you're linking to "http://www.angelfire.com/dbz/poweradvantage", as your hits will not be counted (Unfortunately) unless you address the link as so.
-LanderZ

10/13/01 - Hits yesterday were at a meager 37 individuals; Not very good. I hope that these Sagas will pick things up a little.
.......
Of course, you're all wondering why I pluralized Saga, right? Well, that's because there are 2 Sagas happening at present; Frieza/Namek and Rimoah II. As it seems no-one puzzled out a very important fact, this may come as a surprise. Where did the Earth Dragonballs go? They just suddenly vanished, and the Namekians blurted out "Hey, we have these back home!" and everyone ran to their house for a party. Of course, Rimoah was on Earth, and had cast a spell on the Earth Dragonballs, hiding them from detection, until the strongest people had left the planet. He now makes an appearance after they are beyond radio contact, by killing over a million people on an attack to Satan city, where he captured another Dragonball. His new goal; ressurect the sabre-toothed Jackal Demonlord, Tagazin. You can see this puppy's stats on the new Saga page, and he isn't very nice. (If anyone gets nightmares over the picture, I apologize, but take no responsability.) So, several of Earths best will have to stop him, or even defeating Frieza will not save you. On a happier note, ships have arrived on Namek, leaving Darien, Tobias, Kinks, Hitogoroshi, Android 17, EvenFlow, and Lenx on Namek. They met up with Galaxia, who has been spying on the 'Frieza Force', and the stats you see on the Saga page are what she was able to report. Things aren't looking great, but not terrible, either. Keep checking the site and forums for more information on both Sagas, and keep training, in hopes of being able to defeat the evil adversaries before you.
-LanderZ

10/12/01 - Well, hits up to this point today are pretty poor. 33 so far, but I hope to see more tonight. We are still waiting on Vegeta for the contest, so we'll wait until midnight tomorrow. Also, it seems 'Crash decided to make a change, today. He made the Dual Smasher for Long Range weapons, only. ALL Weapon Master weapons are both Long and short range, in that guns can be wielded skillfully as blunt weapons in tight spots, and blades can fire energy, or whatever you'd like; If you had a regular sword, you'd be a Swordsman, not a Weapon Master. This change will only affect Plasma Sword, Stiletto Weapons, regular sword and power pole, and the basic 1d5, 1d6 and 1d8 weapons. On another note, please notify me before you make these changes, 'Crash, and change all the trainings pages. I like to keep a record of what the trainings are. I am also planning for Friday, October 26th for the Dodoria battle, at 6:00PM PST (Figure out the time zones yourselves; ask your parents or whatever.) If you know you have plans on this date/time, CONTACT ME ASAP!! For those who haven't seen how these saga fights work, they take about 2-3 hours, although these may go a bit quicker (1-2 hours, I assume). Also, I would really appreciate anyone signed up for the saga to remain active until after it's over. For this date, if you are technically 'available' I ask you to please ask your parents a week in advance if you can reserve the computer, or your syblings, or whatever, as I will not take excuses this time. If you are not present at the set battle times, when you confirmed your presence, you are kicked off the RPG. This strict rule will only be in play for this Saga, most probably, but I want people to take me seriously. So, respond if you cannot make this time/date, otherwise, you're there. If you can move or spar before this time, make sure you have enough moves left to get to 3B on Namek. Also, I made a mistake on the character listings once Paragus left; Gohan already was in that fight, and Tobias, by random roll, will take his place. Keep sending in your training stories, 3000 characters PER story, and let me know what level you're training at during your first story (If you've sent me stories before, up to this point, I'll know your Gravity level). Keep checking the forums and site, and preparing for the Namek Saga, as well as those on Earth should keep training, as events will begin this weekend which may keep you all somewhat interested in the RPG.
-LanderZ

10/11/01 - I checked our hits, this time. 37 hits yesterday, and 40 so far today. Not great, but not terrible. Also, all the contest questions have been asked, except with Vegeta. Once he gets quizzed, we will be able to continue with another Loser's Bracket round. Tobias and Reno are staying in the Winner's Bracket, and the Loser's Bracket remanents remain unknown until Vegeta makes an appearace. Keep checking the site AND forums!!
-LanderZ

10/11/01 - A few quick notes regarding certain topics. The contest questions have been gathered, and questioning has begun. Only Vegeta and Krillen remain for the LB, and Chibi Goten and Ninja for the WB. The answers have been recorded and the top two people per bracket will advance, based on their answers being close or not, etc. The prizes are still uncertain, but you will have choices, that IS known.
Regarding the Namek trips, Paragus has decided to 'quit' the RPG, so whoever is travelling with him had best take his training days. Everyone going to Namek has left, as of now, and I hope to see many training stories coming in (3000 characters, proper english training stories). I don't want complains on dates or times; you guys arrive around the 25th, and that's starting the saga late, as it is. Also, Paragus' position on the Saga has been filled up by a random roll yielding Gohan. I also want people to prepare for the Saga: I want the Dodoria battle to be the last weekend of October or the first of November, and the Zarbon battle the same Weekend, while Ginyu will be the following one. Start trying to figure out which times you guys will be availably at; If you are registered for the Saga, and DO NOT SHOW or ATTEMPT to find a time for it, you are gone from the RPG, and I will have your IP address banned from viewing any page in the site. I am 100% dead-serious: This will be THE Saga for the RPG, and I don't want irresponsable people screwing it up. People of Earth, you'll have your chance... I'll have more on the Saga put up this Weekend, as well as the new members updatated. Keep checking the site and forums, and preparing for the Saga!
-LanderZ

10/10/01 - Our hits per day are going down rather quickly; I hope that they come up again, soon. On another note, I am still waiting for a few questions to be sent in for the Contest, and then I will choose some for the quiz questions. Also, the ships are leaving tomorrow, so I hope you've all done what you want to, for the week. Keep training and preparing for Namek, and check the site and forums!
-LanderZ

10/09/01 - Well, I'm updating daily; the end of the world must be upon us. Beyond that fact, up to now, we have only gotten 26 individual hits today. That is VERY disturbing. On another note, AIM decided to kick the bucket in different districts at different times today. It seems to be working now, though...
The contest continues, and I have gotten only 1 Winner's Bracket question, so far. I need more questions, people! Also, ships leave soon, so get your spars and the like done ASAP. I have done some more advertising of our site around different places, so maybe we can expect some new members, but maybe not. Anyways, just keep checking the site and forum, training, and preparing for the upcoming Saga!!
-LanderZ

10/08/01 - Mostly just minor updates, today. I am pleased to see we had 55 individual hits yesterday, so I hope we can keep something like that up for a while.
Well, we have only Vegeta left for Round 3 of the contest, and I am giving him tonight and tomorrow, and then he is disqualified. If I remember correctly, he can get onto the computer by someone else's connection, so he should be able to get online for 5 minutes. Then, we'll have a another round of questions, but this one will be slightly different. The round qualifiers will each send a question to me, and I will select 3 of them, and give them to the respective rounds (The Winner's Bracket questions to the Winner's bracket, etc.). The people who get the highest scores will advance, the ones with the lowest will not. The people who may send in their questions are as follows: Chibi Goten, Brolli, Ninja, Tobias and Reno (1 question each, please), and Android 16, Roark and Krillen. These questions must be about general Dragonball/Z/GT information, not anything that can be mistaken by translations (Specific name for Gokou's fastest moving technique, or the like, has a Japanese and English name. If you want something like this, send both in), and cannot include character voices (Krillen!). On a scale of 1 to 10, these should be difficulty of 8 or 8.5, not 10. So, send these in soon, with notes in the Subject AND text about what bracket you're in (The first set of 5 there are WB), and your character's name, as I can't memorize Email addresses.
On the Namek Saga note, all the stats have been figured out, for everything, save Frieza himself, who is still being debated by Me and Myself, and this information will not be divulged immediately. Also, people have been moved to the approprate squares to which their spaceship leader's are in, and the ships are all leaving by this Thursday. If you want to leave sooner, as to get the spars in time on Namek (You will get there on a Monday, and have missed a week, if you leave then, I believe) then you had best let me know. Kagato's ship is coming on 2B, and all the fees have been paid/left notice. So, get spars and the like done ASAP this week, keep checking the site and forums, and please try to stay active throughout this saga!!! It's very important, in that this Saga will be the best we've had yet, and you guys are sure to enjoy the many plot twists worked into it.
NEW NOTE: I contacted Vegeta, and he is also in the Loser's Bracket of the contest. Send in your questions ASAP.
-LanderZ

10/07/01 - Well, our rankings aren't doing too well, with only 36-45 individual hits per day. I hope that improves during the Saga.
Anyway, we are having a new policy when it comes to clans. It has been arranged so that the RPG should have clans of each alignement, but Evil just isn't holding it's own. So, here is how the clans are going to work. Earth's Special Forces is allying/merging with The Elite. They will have the GOOD Clan of the RPG. They can also have Neutral members, but for every Neutral member they have, they must have 2 Good members. The Alliance will be merging with Hellraisers to form the RPG's NEUTRAL clan. They can have any number of Neutral characters, but for every, say, Good character that joins, there MUST be an Evil and 3 Neutral characters in the clan, and vice versa with Evil characters joining. Ex. The clan can have 3 Good, 9 Neutral and 3 Evil, but cannot have 2 Good, 6 Neutral and 3 Evil, etc. I am also hoping an Evil clan can be formed, sometime. Anyways, I have sent an email to all the clan owners, Squall for The Alliance (Kagato has been spoken to about this), and Krillen for The Elite, and you can send me your member lists, following these rules.
I am also waiting on Galaxia and Vegeta for Round 3 of the Contest; most of the other people have failed their questions, but a couple have squeezed through. I hope to see this contest come to an end before the 25th of October. So, keep training and preparing for the Saga, as well as CHECKING the forums!!!
-LanderZ

10/07/01 - Well, I have completed a Links Page, and also put codes on our Frames and Trainings/Store pages that prevent people from right clicking them. This will hopefully prevent some thievery of entire documents, as if they want to add the HTML stuff to ALL that, go right ahead (They'll be caught and deleted, regardless). Also, an 80% ready list of the Saga battles is up, and you will see it here. I don't want people complaining about not getting their battles of preferance, etc. There were too many factors to go solely on preferance. So, keep checking the forums, training, recruiting, and preparing for the Saga.

10/05/01 - .For the final time I will tell people how to send in spars and moves from now on I will not send a reply as why you haven't been moved or such. On moves it should be YOUR RACE THEN YOUR CHARACTER NAME THEN WHAT SQAURE YOU ARE IN NOW THEN THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE IN (eg Pure siayan Brolli 2b, 2a). Now on spars it should be Race of person then name followed by the person you spared then how many u did (eg Pure saiyan Brolli vs andriod 16 2 spars). From now on if they are not sent in this way i will not accept the move/spar and u will not get a reply back cause this is the second warraning and the last other then that train hard and have fun. Peace out

10/04/01 - I would like to congratulate 'Crash on his date-work: I wonder if anyone else noticed. The rankings have been staying above 45 individual hits per day; We had 187 individuals according to a few days back, but I think the list was broken.
Anyway, the Namek Saga sign-ups have been completed, and the compiled lists of who is in what battles is done.
...
BUT, I am not revealing it until I have time to double check it. Expect it to be seen on Sunday or so. I also do not want complaints about "I didn't get into the Frieza battle like I wanted!" or any battle, in fact. Some people were forced into battles due to lack of good moves, or low Power Levels, as well as other assorted reasons. We'll see several twists in this saga; I have several storyline toys to play with, and I think they will satisfy EVERYONE. Also, I have begun work on the Saga enemies; The Henchmen will be weak, but the bosses WILL be harder. The Contest will also be continuing, even though Scrum has left (And he was in the contest). There will be one round for only the Loser's Bracket, the Round 3, and they will be bumped out of their questions are incorrect. The 5 members of the winner's bracket are Chibi Goten, Ninja, Tobias, Reno and Brolli. There were 3 questions, which you can ask assorted members to find the questions for, and we had people make it in EACH question, so I know I didn't make any one question too hard. Funny, though, only one person chose Question 1 (Out of 3), and Reno got it right, whereas 2/9 of the Question 2 people advanced.
Anyway, keep training, preparing for Namek, and checking the site and forums! Please register to the forums! AND DON'T JUNK POST!!! If I catch someone posting 20 useless posts, they get penalized in the RPG. this is your warning!

Hopefully it won't go as long as the series did for these episodes lol.

10/02/01 - A short update, today. I have been spending several hours figuring lists of who will be on Namek, in the sagas, and the like, and I have made positions for the four battles. The only person excluded from the entire Saga, due to low PL, is Darien, who has yet to so much as spar in the RPG. Anyway, there will be set amount of places for each battle (Dodoria, Zarbon, Ginyu and Frieza). There are, to begin with, 21 Warriors in the saga, 12 Swordsmen, 2 Weapon Masters, and 1 Healer. No-one is allowed to participate in more than two battles, and many of you will only be in 1. Dodoria battle will have 5 Warriors, 2 Swordsmen, 1 Weapon Master, and 1 Healer, Zarbon with 6 War., 3 Swords, 1 Weapon Master, and 1 Healer. Ginyu will have 7 warriors, 5 swordsmen, 1 Weapon Master, and 1 Healer. Frieza will face 5 Warriors, 2 Swordsmen, a Weapon Master, and a Healer. Squall and Ifnor got a coin flip for who got Ginyu and who got Frieza, and then Ifnor, still not knowing which he's in, chose Dodoria as his second battle. The match statses that 4 battle spaces and 2 people to fill them will yield 2 battles apiece, so the Weapon Masters will get 2 battles. Roark is a Healer for all purposes of this Saga, and can only participate in 2 matches, leaving 2 battles without heals. Several other people have been preplaced, due to PL, storyline, and the like, and most do not know that they are yet placed. I want the following list of people to email me, Subject "PA RPG Saga" and tell me their first choice of battle, and their second choice. This will be based mostly on stats, whether or not we have enough per fight, and also on first-come, first-serve. The list will not be visible for a short time, but it will be posted on the forums once we have enough people signed up. The list is:17, Tobias ,Hitogoroshi, Kinks, Galaxia, Pan, Gohan, Paragus, Chibi Goten, Krillen, Chibi Trunks, Sol, Brolli, 18, Hongo, Torebian, Ryouga, Karthias, EvenFlow, Piccolo Daimao, 16, Lenx, Minosha, Ninja, Evangelion, Dark, Tenchi, Kagato, and Cloud. If I've spoken to you already, you don't have to email me. You will have a week or two once you get to Namek to get your trainings and the like, but all ships will be landing on A4. Also, a reminder; 2 RPG days is one Real Life day. If you want to train for 22 days, you need 22 stories of 3000 character size. I will accept a late entry tomorrow, as I may not have specified this clearly enough, before. On top of that, a small 'incentive' is being held to make people write well. The best training story by the time everyone is on Namek will get the writer 800 credits, to go towards the steep prices of Namek (No complaining if you have no training stories on the ship). I'm still looking for Vegeta for the Knowledge contest, so I'll try to keep things interesting while you guys train. So, keep checking the site and forums, training, getting to Namek, and emailing me if you're part of the saga.
NEW NOTE: In your Saga entry form, also send your character's name, and present PL.

10/01/01 - Well, our rankings are holding at around 45-50 hits per day, so that's reasonable, I suppose.
Several ships left for into Space, today, most of them heading towards Namek. For the rest of you, be prepared to leave as soon as your 'captain' is, by having your spars and the like done, and being in the same square as them. I will be doing checks later today to ensure all the people who supposedly left where in the right squares, or else those ships never took off.
Also, send all your trainings stories to myself, and make sure it gets sent to my inbox before the night is out; You may send it at 11:30 PM, but different servers may cause me to get it after midnight, therefor disqualifying the story. The stories will be recorded, and checked for copying. I am also considering adding another few trainings, probably a healing one, and another Namek ship upgrade. Another thing, there will be four main Saga battles on Namek: Dodoria, Zarbon, Ginyu and Frieza. You will be allowed to, at most, participate in two of these, and the sign-ups will be posted in the next few days. So, just keeping you informed, and I hope you all confirmed your proper square locations, or else you may not have left Earth quite yet.
Keep training and checking the forums and site, as well as preparing for the upcoming battle with Frieza.
