The Power Advantage DBZ RPG News Archives: March 2004
Updates/News
03/03/04 - Notice to all clan members of Power Advantage: Your new vault amounts have been posted (after taxes). I use Microsoft Excel to determine the taxes and such, if any clan leaders would like this workbook IM me, post in the forum, or e-mail me and I'll be happy to give it to you. The Big Coffin Hunters were taxed 450 credits and the Order of Light was charged nothing. As the Big Coffin Hunters find themselves in debt I would like to point out an addition to the clan tax rules: "If your clan is found in debt two months in a row it is automatically disbanded. All trainings are lost, and all items in the store are seized by the Power Advantage store." Until next time continue training, sparring, creating/joining/donating to your clan and checking the forums.

03/16/04 - I just wanted everyone to know that I updated healing moves, spars, 25+ join forms, moves, and honor matches. Even though there isn't anything of dire importance concerning the saga to report keep training, LZ is very sporadic (to say the least) about when and how long he does things, you need to be ready at all times, take advantage of this time off to become stronger.

03/21/04 - Just a couple of notes from myself: Check the forum for a couple things I want all members to know. I've also finished this wave of quests and want to begin the next. I'm waiting on a change of wishes from Mirai_Trunks and Yomoto_Enaruu before I can do them. However, if you send in a form your quest should be done rather quickly. Other than that, nothing much to report on, as I said before, LZ is quite sporadic with his sagas, so continue to train and such... who knows when you may play a part, or need to be ready to.

03/21/04 - Well... I'm surprised any of my posts are still remaining on the main page for me to copy script off of... wow. Alright, I may be a little... "sporatic," of late, but I do what I can. Three weeks of classes left, and another two or so for finals, then I'm done! Done!! DONE!!!
*Lander falls down from sheer relief, and dies from stress violently leaving his form*
Bleh, in any case, I'll give a very brief update of events:
Tobias got revived... lucky him, eh?
Android X is still dead, courtesy of an old friend of his... a 'holey' head and all is bad for the body, right?
Mirai Trunks got Super Saiya-Jin II sick and died. *Waits for cheering to end*... Heartless! The lot of you! In any case, since the 'bug' was natural, reviving him revives it, too, just like any other bacteria in your body... So, he'd just die again, and again, and again....
Janemba found one of the covetted Black Star Dragonballs, which somehow landed beside him one day, for no apparent reason.
Daron blew himself up. Yup. Ka-blooie. Only dust remains. For reasons not fully understood by anyone alive. Further, as reported by Eninaj, he never arrived at the Earth "Check-In Station".
Eninaj transcended to the level of a deity, as well as having passed his Lesser Kaio test, and is now holds the proud rank of Demi Kaio, while he trains to test for his Daimon-ship under the Daimon Overlord.
Fenix got sick and died Super Saiya-Jin 2.
A great explosion rocked the galaxy a few weeks back as astronomers believe a planet, of unknown name or origin, blew up.
Some random "lowbies" have gone missing, for no apparent reason.
So, yeah... lots of stuff... As I'm sure everyone has noticed the date, and all... hehehe. We'll see. In the meantime, keep training, checking the forums, sending e-mails to the right e-mail accounts, and have fun!

03/22/04 - Wow, three updates in two days, could PA be going back to its old days *gasp*!? Unfortunatley this time I don't bring good news or intentions of heightening hopes. It's about that time for Power Advantage to once again have another one of its famous "inactive sweeps." The following list is of people who haven't sparred in at least a month, nor have they shown any real signs of recent activity:
Aliens:
Burter
Ceeji
Freiza
Androids:
Gemini
Orgun
Demons:
Bryant
Commesso
Damien
Hiei
Naraku
Humans:
Carsus
Kuwabara
Yusuke_Uramishi
Nameks:
Jiinku
Part Saiyans:
Dylan_Nasakki
Gohan
Jax
Keiretsu
Lex_Ravenwind
Saiyans:
Blith
Cetzi
Dart
Kairi
Mendth
Resistenza
Tsu-Furins:
Trastar_Vayne
I realize this list may include some high PL people as well, but just because you have a high-end PL doesn't deliver you from participating in the RPG. If the people listed above do not show some signs of steady activity by April 4th they will be deleted. Other than that... keep sparring, training, and checking the forums.

03/31/04 - Heya!! First off, let me say one great big thing:

Happy Birthday
Power Advantage!!
That's right! 3 years! Wow, it seems like just yesterday when 'Crash and I were opening this place up, and deciding to send out the e-mails to the pre-readied members... Then I wake up and realize it really was a darned long time ago.
Now, not too much to report, outside of that...
Not! [/Sixth grade antics]
Well, actually, there isn't much... A few big things, but not too many.
First off, either this Friday, or Saturday [undecided as of yet], in the early evening [for me! PST! None of this 3 PM PST on Friday afternoon stuff!], I will have one of my infamous 'Parties' [no, not like the 17's birthday one... That one still frightens me]... Basically, if/when I get online to my AIM account [You should all know this!! I don't have you all bookmarked... If you don't know it, make sure you make the effort to find it out!], after I've been online for 3-4 minutes, send me an IM, saying a greeting, or introducing yourself if you're new [New members are always welcome into the parties!], and we'll see if we can get things rolling. I'm just hoping AIM doesn't have a limit to members in a chatroom... In any case, if/when you're in, if I call for silence, please drop the chatter, since there'll be too many people to get a comprehendable message over...
Also, I have news regarding a potential change to the PA system: Here is what I posted on the forums:
This is a notice to all the 'active' PA people who still stick around to read the forums. You all get a preview to what will be put up in the news, some time tomorrow.
There will be "Beta-testing" [... this isn't entirely ripped off from Blizzard... really...] for some new changes that will be tested. To do so, you would 'abandon' your current character, who's stats and such would be saved and set aside, in order to test a new character. This is not mandatory, and you may quit essentially whenever you wish [Note that we don't update immediately, either, so this is loosely to within a day or so]. The details of this change will not be released quite yet, but if these tests prove successful, it will lead to a new addition to the PA system [further complicating our already hectic system, alright!].
Also note that your current characters are NOT granted immunity from Saga events and such whilst on hiatus... Nor may you play as them without Saga-events and such bringing them back. This would interfere with quests, spars, etc.
Sign Ups for this will probably begin tomorrow. An application will need to be filled out, and probably submitted, either on these forums, or by email to myself or 17 or both. This application will be open until SATURDAY night (April 3rd), and promptness without rushing is always considered best. The number of applicants who will be participating in this event are yet unknown, but the numbers will be small, so precision, detail, and conciseness are going to be invaluable in getting into this Beta-test.
Explicit details of the test will not be opened to the remainder of the public until it is fully in play.
So, yeah... that sums things up pretty well. I will post here [or on the forums, if I'm feeling lazy], regarding the sign up... Probably in a week at latest, methinks. I don't want to hear whines and such if you don't get in, NOR do I want people bragging about it... it is a priviledge that can be removed! (If I see fit).
So.... yeah, that about sums it up. I hope the inactive gets their posterior ends bustlin', and get back into playing, and maybe show up for the party or two... And everyone should be checking the site and forum, as well as sparring weekly!
Peace Out!
