Happy Birthday, everyone! Today marks the 365th day of operation for the Power Advantage Dragonball RPG, and in honour of it, we have a new location for you all to bookmark; poweradvantage.net . That's right, we have a domain! We're going big-time, now!
We are also running the site off of the PowerAcquire Server, for today, so no images, and 90% of links will be dead. I ensured that we can get Member pages and Store/trainings up, though.
Well, other that that, there's a sale today, for most Stores/Trainings, with 20% off nearly anything (Sale deduction before all other deductions), so we hope that you'll enjoy spending less hard-earned cash than normal. We're also opening the Kanassa Trainings and Store, and offering the people on Earth the option to 'Hold' a purchase there for the sale price, but it lasts only for one month, and you must have enough cash, in advance. You can also start heading out to Namek and Kanassa for some space travel, on April first.
We are also proud to say that the bandwidth problems should be coming to a final halt, and I think many people will be quite pleased with that.
We are having a promotion, today, as well, with Brolli being promoted to Senior Staff member. Although he's already been performing 90% of the tasks required of such a position, he also gets say in the runnings of the site, as well as new staff applicants, amongst other things. Congratulations, Brolli; You've earned it!
A new contest will be starting soon, as well, which includes any funny incidences that occur in battles. If you find anything humourous or ironic happening in your battles, you may wish to keep a log of it for this contest (type F2 so we can see the times, as well).
There will be some activities this afternoon, so drop on in to make a buck, or just spend some time with friends and celebrate this happy occasion!

03/28/02 - Only one, small, but direly important note today; After reading this page, please do not look at any other pages of the site for the rest of the day, and perhaps tomorrow, as well. We're having Bandwidth problems, and I think the majority of the problem is in the logs (As this just started about 1 day after Saga logs came up) and because logs take up a lot of space. Solutions are being looked into, but please try and conserve the amount of time the site has by shutting down the window to this page as soon as possible.

03/27/02 - Well, updating, tonight, after having finished Questing Ninja for Revival of both Namek and Ifnor. He completed it, and both are back. Site hits are also up, in the 80s, so that's pleasing. I hope you're all primed for the Anniversary, as there will probably be several events occuring that day, as well as some things happening that even people who can't show up on that day will still notice. Space travel will be permitted again, at that point. Also, Quests are being brought to a hault, until a system can be worked out in that people stop taking 5 Senzus in and wishing for outrageous amounts of Credits/Stats, making them much too strong for the RPG's standards. More to come on that, later. Lastly, please have all spars for the week done by Saturday, so Brolli can have Sunday to actually update the Spars, rather than need to balance it after-schools. This may become a permanent change, and will probably allow spars to be updated for the next week, instead of at the end of it. Keep training and sparring, and preparing for the Anniversary!

03/26/02 - I'm too busy to post a long News post, but I'd like to address the issue that in ALL HONOUR MATCHES the wagers must be of equal value on either side. Otherwise, it could be an exchange of credits without needing to pay them back. You cannot wager a large item vs small amounts of cash, regardless of the 'odds'. You must wager credits equal to the cheapest value found in any store on an average day (You can pick what map you'd like). Credits vs Credits must be of equal amounts, as well. So, a note to 17, please do not update any of these Honour Matches where the bets were uneven.

03/24/02 - I'm addressing this issue now, because I've had several people come to me with these complaints.
Many members of the RPG seem to enjoy the fact that there are special 'gifts' given out from time to time. I think it's a good idea, as well, as it makes the RPG slightly less predicable.
However, when someone does get awarded something special, there are always several people who feel it's not fair that that person got it, and that they, themselves should have. They whine, complain, and threaten to quit.
Of course, there isn't going to be some gift for everyone; It makes no sense, and takes the originality out of it. There is also little rhyme and reason to who I pick, or so it seems without explanation, to merit these prizes. I actually do have reasons, and actually do pick the person who I feel does qualify with the specific qualifications for that prize. Yet, people are still unhappy, and claim that they'd rather no-one have it, than someone aside from themselves.
So, what's to be done? I could listen to these people, and not give any 'gifts' out to anyone, save them. Of course, with 1 gift, and dozens of them, the logic states that I couldn't give it to one of them, as the others would be back where they started. So, that leaves me giving out nothing. I don't want to have to do that, but if things don't make a drastic change, it will come to that. This is not a threat, but simply a revealing of the truth, as most people view things only in first-person perspectives.
I'm asking you all to think on this, and if you feel this is the best course of action, notify me. I will, if I see enough response, give no more 'gift' things, such as Super Saiya-jin, Super Namek, Mystik, or anything else. Please notify me soon, so I can make preparations for whatever is to come.

03/24/02 - Great Saga last night, guys! Aside from my arms hurting from trying to move too quickly to three different pieces of paper to record stats from the 3 chatrooms, that went really well! The logs are up, so please read them to fill in the gaps of what you're missing. We also have our first "Unique" transformations for Aliens, which will be their own type of "SSJ", but it will be different for each Alien. Some will be large stat boosts, such as 80,000 PL, etc. Others will be low stats, but new attacks. Some will be extremely potent for raising Speed, such as Frieza's. We also have a new Super Saiya-jin, so check the logs for that. A note: 11.4 included both the person and myself, and every time I said something, I would ask them, in an IM window, what they wanted to do, and then simply put it into my words. Everything that happened there was a matter of what that person did. This level of SSJ is different than Chibi Goten's, in that it's starting smaller, and that he hasn't had time to perfect it, like Chibi Goten did in space, so it may fail in battle. Also, we mourn the loss of Ifnor, who died when the Fusion monster killed him [hard]. I also updated all the stats from the Saga; 2 spars-worth of stats, and 1 Speed point for those present yesterday afternoon, and 1 spar bonus for everytime anyone was in a mini-battle chat. Money is included in that, but there wasn't any other cash to hand out. I hope to see comments about the Saga, and remember that we have the Anniversary in 1 week. Keep training, and checking the forums, until then!

03/23/02 - 12:30 here (PST) and the RPG is this afternoon at 3:00 PM PST (4 Mountain, 5 Central, 6 Eastern, 7:30 Newfy, 7:00AM the 24th for Australia), and we hope to have a big show out! If you have over 90 HP, you have a good chance of getting in. Espect it to be 3 hours, and leave up to 4 available. This will be a biggy! I also updated spars up to March 17th this morning, and also note that this Saga will be taking place at 2A, so you may have forced moves at the time of the Saga start.

03/21/02 - Just short news, reminding everyone that this Saturday, at 3:00 PM PST, will be the Demon Saga, and it isn't "Sign-up", but, rather "Show-up". More news to come, perhaps, tonight.

03/16/02 - Judging from the current response, next Saturday at 3:00 PM PST will be the date for the Saga finale. Hits are also down, but that's not so bad. Over the last 2 days, I've finished questing Piccolo Daimao, Gokan, and Janemba, and we have only 3 more Quests to go to be fully caught-up. There is also a short, general storyline that will be posted here, regarding the Saga:
Under a shroud of darkness on a moonless night, a figure lands on a rock in the northwestern mountains, and steps down quietly.
Before the figure is another, shorter and shrouded in a deep cloak. The figure approaches the cloaked on, and neither make any movement of apprehension, nor aggravation.
"You know why I'm here, don't you?" the original figure asks the shrouded one, who simply nods.
"The you know what I want. I will have it." the original figure exclaims.
After a pause, the cloaked figure replies.
"You are not one of us, nor can you ever hope to be-"
"Nor would I ever want to be, you worm. I simply want what you can give."
Another short pause follows, with the cloaked figure speaking first.
"You know very well that you could be dead here any minute, and yet you still come searching for it. Very well, I will grant it to you, but you will use it as directed..."
The discussion continues for a few minutes, with the cloaked figure stating several points, while the other nods occasionally, an evil grin growing on its face...
That's one, and here's the other:
It has been a very difficult night, with haunting dreams pursuing them, but several people awoke one morning, noticing nothing, at first, until a pain hit them and laid them all flat on their backs, gasping for air.
The assorted Saiyans and Part-Saiyans experiencing this pain all realize quickly that they are lacking a tail, at this point. They are unsure of whether it was yanked out, ripped off, or shredded, but either way the entire group spend the remainder of the day lying on theirs backs, on the floor or bed, trying not to pass out from the incredible pain...
The people included in that mess are Chibi Trunks, Tyrus, Gokan, King Vegeta, and Kinks. No-one's entirely sure why whatever happened did occur, but no-one knows the reason just yet.
Not much in the way of other news; Anniversary approaches, Group Quest formulas will be finished, soon (It'll be rather fun... for the Quest-Takers, that is!), as well as a limit to quests being placed, soon. Keep training, checking the forums as well as the site!

03/14/02 - Alright just some small notes to be made. Most of the quest are done, waiting for Gokan (if you can Gokan email the staff for a time so we can finsh your quest). Well Mirai Trunks just finshed his quest reviving both Brolli and Cloud.

03/14/02 - Once again, not much News. Join form is back up and running, as well as the Counter site, and a new Demon attack has occured. Another note, is that anything regarding AIM changes and Clan stuff is to be sent to myself; not the other staff. Quests and all purchases are to go to me, until Crash gets back to do the Store. I am thinking of next Saturday (The 23rd) for the big Saga date, but not everyone will be allowed in at once (Probably 15, or so, tops), at 3:00 PM PST. Contact me if this is a problem and you're a major player in the Saga (High PL, or special weapons/stuff). Otherwise, new Quests stats will be made this weekend, so stop bugging the Staff about it, and also stop bugging them about the Saga dates and events. Keep checking the site and forum, and keep training!

03/10/02 - Not much in the was of big new, here. 3 weeks until the anniversary, and the Bravenet Join form is back up, along with the individual hit counter site. Brolli's back, and most Quests are done (Aside from Janemba, who's in my Inbox with no stats made up, and Gokan, Mirai Trunks and someone who have all started with Android 17), and there was a huge Demon battle, today, with two more people being Charmed by Atropos. Check the log for more information. Keep checking the site and forum, and keep training!

03/09/02 - Hi all. Sorry about slow updates but I have had alot with school this week but now I'm off till the 18th. Everything I had from last week is updated and I'll update again later tonight with what I have. Upates for this week and next should be doing good. Peace out.

03/07/02 - I apologize for the lack of news, but it's been a slow week. Brolli has been very busy, and unable to update Spars thus far, but I doubt they will be forgotten/deleted, and 'Crash is still quite busy with school. I'm not entirely sure when Americans get March/Spring Break, but I have one week of school left, then two weeks of break. A new Demon 'attack' has occured, which is simply a storyline account, but an important one, with the final unveiling of the fifth demon. Read it on the Saga page. I am also disappointed that when I change screen-names to avoid lag, and tell you this, only to have you send me incessant messages! I warned and blocked someone from my Buddy List for it, on the other screen-name. Anyway, the FAQ is coming along, with around 75 of the 300 questions answered (And those ones being the 'why' questions, such as legalities and explanations), and the Quests slowly moving along. Android 16 almost finished his successfully, but just missed it at the end, and I believe all the others who have begun their quests will have them done soon with whoever was questing them. Once they're all cleared up, the new Quest stats (Starting at Janemba's) will be made. Keep an eye out for more Demons, and possibly a new contest. I expect you all to keep training, checking the site, and the forums!

03/02/02 - Not too much in the way of news. The site that does our individual hits is down, and Bravenet seems to be taking a short hiatus, but if it isn't back up tomorrow, I'll bring out the Alternate Join form for people to use. Other than that, several Quests have been happening, recently, including Reno, and Tienshinhan, with Reno making it (Without using a Senzu) and Tien failing (With a Senzu to spare). The Saga has taken a short break for the past fiew days, with the exclusion of that last attack that delivered the Angelic Transformation to Evangleion. Be warned, however, his slaves, that you may lose the Majin if he transforms, and may not be allowed to be enslaved, again. I'm still working on answering the FAQ that Kagato/Frieza made, and it looks like it might be the actual Version 1.0 I've been looking for. A last note, Tri-Form HAS been changed; take a look on the Trainings page to see the difference. 1 use per battle, no auto-reform. No-one in the series ever uses Tri-Form more than once per battle, anyways. Keep training, checking the site, and the forums! Maybe we'll hit 50,000 hits before the Anniversary!

3/1/02 - MCrashinNow here. I know I haven't been online for a while but I've been really busy. I am still very busy but I've found some time to update. But i'm still very unsure how much longer I will be busy so it would be great if any emails that you would send to me, send them to all the other staff members and mention that I am saying that I'm too busy and said on the main page to send the emails to them. Hopefully I will be able to come online more often soon but I'm afraid i'm going to remove my character Dark. There is no way that any of his money or items will be going to anyone so don't you dare ask me if you could have anything. If you do, you will be penalized because that IS considered cheating. Goodbye Dark and goodbye everyone till I'm less busy and get some time to get online.
