Updates/News
06/27/02 - Just letting you all know that I leave in a short while, so do not send me any new email. The join form page has been disconnected, because, from my calculations, Junk mail will kill my account, and since most of it is large, it should hopefully delete itself when my account size overloads. I don't want any Join forms lost, so I just won't have any coming in. So, please do not send me any new email until I make a post stating that I am back. (The one exception is training stories). Also, the Royal Ship will be leaving Kanassa when I get back, probably Wednesday, so be ready on 2A or 1C, whichever has the most people, to get a ride home. Please check the forums and FAQ, as well, and keep posted on current events. A great evil is gaining power in the galaxy, and you will need to be ready for it...

06/25/02 - Not much to say. Hits are looking good, and are nearing 100,000 total, while the Saga has come to a close, and people are heading back to Earth. Ifnor left today on his Namekian ship, while Squall will be leaving tomorrow (Due to a lack of telling me when he wanted to go) with his crew. A few people do not need rides back, as they are inactives and will be deleted. Knives and Burter, if they are both on Kanassa (I think they are) are in this group, as well as Hellfighter 17, and Ninja. People can post on the boards, and claim their activity all they like, but if they don't purchase anything/spar/move/train/get online (One of these), then they will not be titled as 'active'. Another note, I will be away on Thursday, through to next Tuesday evening, as I am heading out of town for a wedding. I may or may not have a computer with internet connections, where I am going, but either way, I don't want to do more updating than I need to. If anyone sends in a purchase or quest form or anything to me, aside from the standard in Join Forms that I get, they will be punished. My email probably won't survive, as it is, with the amount of Junkmail I get, and I don't want it flooded with extra goop from you guys, that can wait. Ifnor, please send me an email saying where you are landing, on Earth, and how long you wish to stay before heading back to Kanassa (Since I don't be around to update it, it will be counted as you and your crew are on Earth on the 29th, and can spar as normal, and everything will be updated upon my return). The Bloopers contest has been continuing, and some awesome, insanely lucky and hilariously funny things have happened, earning people CCG cards for our own CCG, which should be functional in the next month (The only problem with it, is trying to figure out how to incorporate it into the RP-system that we have). The bandwidth is looking alright, as the Bandwidth counter on Angelfire seems to have died for a few days, but is back, now. This will keep our levels down for a month, plus we've been doing well, even without it. If there are any other problems or complaints, the forum is still open, plus the FAQ is up to answer many of those concerns. It's big, and only in .doc and .txt, as of now, but we may format it for other computer text-reading documents, as well, in the future. If you find any contradictions in the FAQ, as compared to other parts of the FAQ or things in the rules, then please let me know. You might even get a small reward. Well, keep training, and checking the site and forum!

06/22/02 - Well, the Saga battle went alright. I expected the members to take a full four more rounds than they did to puzzle out how to beat Miruuko, but they surprised me by doing in in only... six, I think.
Anyway, general notes. Rewards for the saga will be based upon who has been active in the storyline discussions, who figured things out, and who has been, in general, proactive about the whole thing. The rewards should be done tonight or tomorrow morning. You can check the logs for the fights, as well. Bandwidth is looking good, so don't worry too much about it. As for Squall's Gunblade, it is gone, as shown on his stats, so feel free to challenge him, now. I also have an ending storyline, to show what happens to the remainder of everything:
Many of the warriors of Earth, led by Android 17, and motivated by Janemba, headed eastwards, to attack the Suncloaks' Main Ship, and drive them off the planet, be they living or dead, in the end.
To make a short story shorter, the battle was more of a slaughter, with three Suncloaks killed, and the rest, including Jair and Donhald, forced to leave on their ship, or be killed, as well.
Tobias led a few of the less-violent earthlings to the southern base, as he had received a psychic message from a Kanassan - most likely the one he knew so well - asking for assistance in their rebellion against the Suncloaks.
There wasn't much of a battle, down there, but several Suncloaks managed to leave on the ship.
Taking with them the largest supply of cul'dora.
The warriors returned to the northern part of the planet, save for Brolli, Frieza and Jeice, who would rather be by themselves, while waiting for the arrival of the departed warriors. Many of them had felt a tremendous battle going on, and had prayed for the safe return of their warriors.
When Squall led the company back to the northern section, people clapped him, and his partners, on the back, and congratulated them on jobs well done. Some weren't too pleased about the whole affair - Wolfwood was having a conniption fit about Android X's condition, while Eva was still questioning why he had used two Senzus - but they were, overall, feeling pretty good.
Now they just needed to wait for rides to be arranged, so people could go home.
"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH IT?!" A voice screamed from behind the crowd.
The earthlings turned, facing down a very red, very Ultimate Super Saiya-Jin Brolli, who was pointing to the center of the still-black ground.
"WHERE IS MY SHIP!?" Brolli screamed, balls of energy forming in his hands.
The warriors looked over, and saw no ship. Many gasped, while Karthias took a head count.
"Ummm... We're missing Frieza, Jeice, and Janemba," he called out, and more people gasped.
They had already known Frieza and Jeice weren't there.
But what was Janemba up to?
Heh, an ending, with an introductory to something else... Well, don't expect another 'Saga' or 'Storyline-festival' anytime soon (I got tired of people giving up on putting two-and-two together). The Ships should be getting to Kanassa, soon (Ifnor, send me a list of who you're picking up), and with Ifnor's new upgrade (His ship got repaired for 500 credits, and he bought the next upgrade, after that), he might be able to transport people very quickly. Well, keep an eye ont he forums, and check the site, so you can get off this fish-planet, and back to Earth!

06/20/02 - One more storyline, before the Saga. For those people selected to be there, remember, it is Saturday, the 22nd, at 3:00 PM PST.
Tobias sat on his bed, in the southern Suncloak Attack Ship, trying desperately not to cry. His training hadn't been any harder, but he was being broken, and didn't think he could hold on for much longer.
They still had him destroy things, using him as a weapon, but he was enjoying spending time with them, and began feeling more and more like a pet every time they looked at him.
The door opened, and in stepped the familiar Kanassan, who was his usual trainer.
"It's time to go, Earthling," the Kanassan said, putting his hands around Tobias' neck.
With a gentle amount of pressure, a small clicking sound was heard, and the latch was removed from Tobias' neck.
"Wha... why?" Tobias asked, rubbing his neck, still in disbelief.
"That's not what's important. We know what's going to happen, and you shouldn't be here, for it. Go, Earth man. Your friend is already waiting for you, outside."
Tobias nodded, and ran out the door, stopping only to look back.
"Thanks"
Tobias ran for all he was worth, and as he saw the door to the exit of the base, he looked around for Android 17. He hadn't seen any Suncloaks, but he still hadn't put his guard down.
As soon as he hit the door, he fell backwards, clutching his chest, which seemed to have been hit by a steamroller.
"And that's for taking so long, twirp." 17 said, in his cool, dark voice, before flying upwards.
Tobias grunted, before following after him, planning on making as much distance from the base as he could, as quickly as possible...
***
Miruuko sat near a campfire, at his third camp, his eyes closed, in deep meditation.
"It's almost time..." He said with a chuckle, which grew into a soft laugh.
Nothing huge, but just general loose-ends clean-up.

06/18/02 - I haven't been posting on the main page, very much, but I've been busy, nonetheless. The Kanassa Saga has some logs up, and I've been busy on the forum, as well. For your viewing pleasure, here's a short Storyline for the Kanassa Saga:
Lying on the hard, Kanassan ground, near the southern Attack Base of the Suncloaks, Frieza was tormented by dreams and nightmares, only to awaken with a start, seeing the world around him, and calming down once he knew the dreams had been only dreams.
Frieza grumbled, feeling extremely lethargic, and realized that he couldn't really move! It was as though he was completely encovered in sheets, that were pulled tight, and not allowing him any movement.
Bah! I can play their foolish game, Frieza growled to himself, before gathering his energy.
His body began to bulge, and change, adapting a much larger form in a matter of moments. The magical shield around him grew to accomodate it, however, still allowing him no movement. He called out, and transformed, yet again, only to have this even larger body remain covered by the ever-stretching restraints.
Heh heh heh. This is working perfectly, Frieza chuckled, before light envelopped him, blocking off the sight of what was happening to his body.
After a few minutes of earth-shaking, and lightning-sparked transformation, the dust clouds settled, and Frieza stood up, for the second time, in his true form.
The restraints had grown to accomodate his larger body, but hadn't shrunk to fit his smaller, more agile form.
Frieza chuckled to himself. It was time to make Jeice, and the rest of them, pay!
***
Ifnor grumbled as he sat down, waiting for Royal Ship to take off. His mood hadn't changed since he had found out that his ship had been destroyed.
"Go to Konats and see if they can fix it" Ifnor scoffed, mimicking Reno's instructions, while he helped load the ship with all the parts he had been able to salvage. The Upgrade had been saved, but that didn't help him travel, at all.
Zut Halors was also on the ship, looking out the far window, while Vegeta was busy pushing buttons, attempting to get the ship off the ground.
"And then I need to pay for it! What a da-"
"Looks like we're ready," Vegeta interuppted, pressing a final button. Ifnor silenced himself, and prepared for the launch, while wondering if anything could be done about his poor, poor ship.
"I'll make 17 pay..." He grumbled, for what must have been the thousandth time.
Nothing big, but just some information as to what is happening. Frieza's transformation is now on his stats, as is Jeice's new one, so you can look at those, as well as continue trying to puzzle things out on the forum before the big day. My list has been finalized, as well, and will stay as it is, posted on the forum.

06/13/02 - Quick update from me, as well. I am hoping to have the Kanassa Saga final battle next week Saturday (The 22nd, I believe), at around 3:00 PM PST. I will allow probably 6-8 people in. The others will have a storyline role, or should get off the planet. I've spoken to a few people, already, letting them know what they should do. Don't start sending 'sign-ups' for it; I'll choose who's coming, based upon their power, their activity/online time, and how much they've participated in the Saga, thus far.
-LanderZ

06/09/02 - Since you've all been so proactive in the storylines, I'll put up another. This one will be accompanied with extra stuff, once people get online at the right times. It may not be this week, however, since I have concerts and what-have-you rather frequently.
Jeice smiled to himself as he headed southwards, Frieza slumped over his shoulder. He wasn't in his transformed state, but Frieza was as easy to carry as a baby, with the assortment of spells on him. There wouldn't be any trouble from him.
Better yet, Jeice would have the opportunity to remove this tyrant from him life, and kill off this Miruuko character when he returned, just as he had originally planned.
I suppose I'm greatful for the power, and for the help defeating this weakling, but your about as unimportant to me, now, as a cockroach, Jeice thought to himself.
Jeice was nearing the appointed place of meeting, and began looking around for possible ambushes. He wasn't worried, though. He had enough power, even without Miruuko's help, to deal with these Suncloaks.
***
Jair was busy preparing his best men to come with him on his short trip to pick up Frieza, and destroy Miruuko at the same time. He couldn't afford mistakes, at this point, if this plan was to succeed.
"Child Jair, what do you think you're doing?" A voice sounded behind him, and Jair turned around, to see his superior, Donhald, standing behind him.
Immediately falling to his knees, Jair acknowledged the Suncloak.
"My Lord Captain. What an honour it is to have you here, but I thought you wished to continue supervision of the ba-"
"Those were my original intentions, but a number of things have come up," the Lord Captain cut in.
"There are two things that are troubling me. The first being as to why there was an unsanctioned attack against the Earthlings by Suncloaks." Donhald stated.
Jair paused only for a moment.
"Sir, we have been unable to locate Miruuko, and figured that he might show himself if we put pressure on his allies," Jair responded.
"We have no way of knowing if he is in allegiance with these people, Child Jair. We know them to be in line with Frieza - from his own mouth - but Miruuko is something entirely different."
There was another pause, before Donhald continued his inquisition.
"And, what may I ask is all the commotion about around here?"
"Well, sir... I've received word that Frieza has been captured, and we were just about to go pick him up..." Jair responded, sounding slightly uneasy.
"And, how, may I ask, did you come across this piece of information?"
"Well, uh, sir... Miruuko told me."
"Phah! And you're trusting his words?! Well, in either case, if he's captured, we can attend to it later. I have a more important task for you. I have found that another creature is on this planet, one that has a much higher priority than a 'supposedly-defeated' Frieza holds."
Jair listened, gasping once he found out exactly what was to happen.
Maybe this wouldn't be a total loss, after all.
***
Squall wiped the sweat off of his forehead, as he grudgingly continued northwards, having left the Suncloak base a few days ago.
"How can we be sure that we can trust him?" Ifnor demanded, for what must have been the fiftieth time in the past hour, and Squall had given up responding, altogether.
A strange Kanassan had approached them just after dozens of Suncloaks had stormed out of the complex. It had spoken to them, and told them that Tobias was captured. It had also let them know that, as his primary y'niers, it would ensure he had the easiest training possible. The part-saiyan would be treated as well as the Kanassan could manage until it was time to set him free.
After arguing against it, the Kanassan had pointed out the consequences of their planned suicide-run. Whoever attacked would die, or be captured, and Tobias would be punished, if not killed, for it.
Of course, that had left him, Ifnor, and Tenshinhan with little to do but to return to the main group, and puzzle out what the next move should be. After the huge explosion from the north, they had been wondering what exactly had blown up, as that couldn't have been earth alone.
Squall shrugged, wiping the back of his hand across his brow, again, when he was suddenly flying through the air, backwards. He hit the ground, and paused, wondering what had happened, when the pain kicked in. His midsection felt as though a planet had smashed into it.
Squall struggled to his feet, only to see Ifnor and Tien glaring at the figure before them.
It seemed Brolli had come out of hiding.
***
Back at the northern encampment, the warriors of Earth were still puzzled as to what to do. Many figured they should begin investigating what had happened to Jeice, while others thought to explore the planet, while others still decided the best solution was to wait for Squall and Tobias to return.
Reno had recovered as much as he could of Ifnor's ship, and found the enhancement for it completely intact. Unfortunately, most of the rest of it was rubble and wreckage.
The warriors still didn't know exactly what was to happen, but they knew that they would be ready if the Suncloaks returned, looking for another fight.
Well, that wasn't so bad, now was it? The battles should be short, and take place this week. Keep doing your homework as to what might happen, and how, and maybe give some evidence with your works. Some people might find that you took a wrong turn just at the end of your thought-train, and correct it for you. Well, keep training, and checking the forums; only the mentally proactive ones will be the physically involved characters.
-LanderZ
06/07/02 - And now another storyline for all of those participating in the Kanassa Saga!
Child Jair of the Suncloaks was resting in his chambers, having seen the defeat in the battle against the Earthlings. He was more than slightly perturbed that they had won, and was even frustrated at the injuries inflicted.
What really made him angry was that it had solved nothing. Miruuko had yet to show himself, and the golden people were still not captured.
However, things were beginning to look up. A few Suncloaks had successfully passed the test of the y'niers, so they would not need to rely on the Kanassans for much longer. Their mental 'abilities' were almost as putrid as those horrible energies and magics that seemed to plague him wherever he went.
First on Earth, and now here. These people disgust me! Jair thought to himself.
--Hello there, Jair.--
The voice - which wasn't a real voice, as Jair had heard nothing! - seemed to suddenly appear in Jair's head.
--I've been wondering if you've given up searching for me.--
Jair stood up, and looked around the room, seeing no sight of the little man that haunted his dreams.
--No, I'm not beside you, foolish one. I have better things to do than to waste my time around you. However, I have a proposition that you might find... attractive.--
Jair suddenly sat up straight.
"What do you mean?" He asked, not really to anyone.
--Well, aside from my people, who else would satisfy your wildest dreams if they were to, say, fall into your ready hands?
Jair thought only for a moment, and then nodded.
--I'm sure the Captains back home would be happy to see this creature on the gibbet, yet.--
Jair pondered for a moment. "What's in it for you?"
--I simply wish for you to get off this planet, only taking those you have with you, as well as my prisoner, and to leave me and my people be.--
Jair thought for another moment, before nodding.
"Where can I find you?"
***
Lord Captain Donhald of the Suncloaks sighed, while patrolling the inventory room of his eastern-based ship. It had been a rather tedious few weeks, but things had to be done.
He had sent Child Jair to the Attack Base, along with the prisoner on the cul'dora. He shivered at the thought of the little device; was it any less evil to control someone who controlled the powers of the Gods than it was to control the powers yourself?
There had been few reports from the southern base, and most of the shipments of cul'dora from the research labs had been sent to the Attack Base. It was a pity that they were being made, in the first place.
The door to the room opened, and in came a Kanassan, weary and breathing hard. Donhald cringed slightly; he knew it was wrong to work with this people, but he would repent his actions once he returned to Amadoria.
"Lord Captain, sir," the Kanassan saluted. "I have something that you might want to see."
"Well, show me," the Lord Captain replied in earnest. He had grown accustomed to the ways the Kanassans 'showed' things.
The psychic put his claws to the back of Donhald's neck, and the images began to seep into his head. A battle, with several Earthlings, and Suncloaks! Pain on both sides, and... What!? It was that ally of Frieza's, Evangelion!
"Well, this is certainly important news," Donhald said, his mind rushing through a dozen different things. Why were there Suncloaks attacking? How did Evangelion get here? Weren't they supposed to be focusing on the transport of the dark wizard?
Lord Captain Donhald sighed. He would have to have a talk with Jair. The man was over-zealous, even moreso than his son. Enthusiasm was encouraged, but sometimes they could just take it too far.
***
Tobias sighed, keeping his head down while sitting on his bed in the Kanassan-built Suncloak base.
He had figured that the best way to confront this device would be to fight it, and never give up. That had proven to be very, very difficult.
A few hours after the Suncloaks had left to attack his friends - he still did not know what had come of that - the Kanassan y'niers had returned, and once he had put on the bracelet of the cul'dora, he hadn't even needed to read Tobias' mind to know that he had been using KI. He had been severely punished for it.
Tobias had considered using his water pitcher to beat the leash-holder, but once he had thought of it as a weapon, his muscles cramped up into deadiningly painful knots whenever they got near the pitcher. He had had to not only think about the pitcher as not being a weapon, but also confirm, in his mind, without any doubt, that he would NEVER use it against the y'niers before he could touch it without pain, again. And the Kanassan had ensured he had used no other pitcher than that one for three days following the event.
Tobias did get walked every morning, and fed three moderate meals per day, but he knew that they were breaking him. He could not even have a thought of his own, without them knowing and punishing him for it. He didn't like their ideas of 'training', either. Blowing up huge mounds of stone and rock, as well as other Kanassans had made him want to retch.
He could only hope that Squall and Ifnor weren't hurt. To the best of his knowledge, the only one who knew about their location was the Kanassan who held his leash most of the time, but they had not come after the three days, so he wasn't entirely sure.
Tobias sat down, and tried his hardest not to cry. He couldn't hold on for much longer. It was too much; this would break anyone. He only wished that there was something - anything! - that he could do.
***
Miruuko smiled to himself, after binding the so-called 'great tyrant' Frieza with magics so powerful that no living - or dead, for that matter - thing could even hope to escape.
The fool Alien he had found had proven to be quite useful, given the proper arsonal. He hadn't lied that his people had been to this Jeice's planet, although they hadn't been there in the manner that Jeice thought. The Dark Circle controlled more powers than the Gods, and would continue to, at any rate. It was a pity that his newfound delivery-boy would need to be destroyed after his job was accomplished; he would probably be a very potent fighter, otherwise.
Miruuko's smile widened. He had escaped from the escort of Kanassans and Suncloaks who had tried to take him - it had been close, but he had done it! - and he would have this planet subdued in virtually no time. The chaos he had sown would also please his people when he returned. Leading the Suncloaks to the strange blonde fellow had been a stroke of pure luck, especially when his power had increased almost three-fold. And now he would be able to get rid of the Suncloaks, after they destroyed the Earthlings for him, and finally be able to accomplish his goal in peace.
Well, that should clear up some things, and give some more questions, in return. I hope that you guys will be a little more pro-active in figuring things out with this, especially considering your lack of interest after the previous storyline.

06/06/02 - Alright here is the deal the Saga for earth will not be Saturday. For the fact being people can't read the news all the way, I said I wanted RACE NAME AND CLASS IN THE SUBJECT. For some reason the people of earth could figure that out. So till farther notice it is not happening Saturday. The people that i have correct forms from are Pardus, Lain, Emuia, 16, Tidus, Raziel, and Ramirez. Also we need some more Weapon Masters and Swordsmen(alot of swordsmen and a few Stronger Weapon masters) to get this a good show. Till farther notice train your little heart out.
-Brolli
06/04/02 - This post is mostly for people on earth. It has been decided by LZ and me to give people of earth their own saga (and no it isn't Rimoah Saga III) but here is people of earth storyline.
At Night looking up in the stars wondering what is going on with their friends up in space they notice a giant shooting star bigger then normal shooting star. After a few minutes the earth moved violently knocking everyone to their feet, or the few they were asleep woke them up by knocking them to the floor. After everyone got up wondering what had happened, and decided to check it out.
I would like to do this Saturday if at all possible but I do know that a few places across the globe are taking finals and such so when you email me to join the saga tell me in the body. In order to be in this saga you have to be in square 2A so move their asap, on email the wanting join the Saga in the subject of the email put Race name and class. For this to be fun and be worth wild we need about 3 people of each class (swordsmen, weapon masters, and warriors) for this to be worth the time. Thursday I will post if their are any openings for it and if it still will be Saturday i will post the time so in your email if Saturday is fine also tell me the best time for it to be and expect to be on for atleast 2 maybe 3 hrs. Till Thursday Peace out.

06/02/02 - Two big announcements. First of all, our bandwidth jumped down a lot, with the days of 60 and 40 Mb leaving the 30-day limit, so we have around 550Mb for the last 30 days. I still don't want people overdoing it with site checkups, but don't be afraid to check for new updates. Secondly, recent events have escalated the Kanassa events to a SAGA! It is on the Saga page, and take a look at what just happened, however short, and talk about it a little. I don't want emails regarding people signign up, yet, as virtually everyone on Kanassa is permitted to be at the battles (If they're at the right locations), and the big battle will be announced well in advance. Some smaller news, for the three new members (DontlooknowBut, BlackElfDon and berzerkshadow) you have been accepted, and are in my inbox, and will probably be put up before your weeks have passed, but if I don't find time until next weekend, I'm just letting you know that you have been accepted, so don't send in new join forms.
-LanderZ
06/01/02 - Just letting people know that discussions need to be continued on the forum, and the old stories are up there, so re-read them there, not here. Bandwidth has been going up, but I'm doing calculations tonight to see if we're still alright (I believe we should be).
