Updates/News
07/28/03 - There goes my once-per-week Main News post idea... I tried! I really did! I've been busy with work, University preparation and tutouring, as well as 'housekeeping' stuff for PA. In any case, not too much to report... The Members page now has a Link to the new layout of members, which may move from the PA site to another location if Bandwidth becomes a problem, but the link will remain in the same place. I'm updating new members (Android 19 and 'Blaze'), and finishing up the last Quest in my book... Lothar, I believe. Earth single Quests are down, now, thanks to Xellos killing the boss, and I've started work on the new format, because of that. If anyone has not seen, Shenki is still missing, but he has some fun stuff... I'm sure it'll cause some interesting comments. Namek Quests are still open, as are Earth-Groups, so get a partner, Namek-speaking or not, and head on over. Meat is now open, and I've started work on the next set of trainings as well... Perhaps I can finish them as a parting gift, before I leave.
Speaking of which, so it doesn't come as too hard of a shock... I probably will be 'leaving' once I head out to University; I plan on passing my responsabilities to the Staff (Perhaps recruiting another should they not feel capable of handling all of it), but I want to give myself a good month of trying to join groups, make connections, and focusing on schoolwork... Sure, I'll still kick around, but I won't be able to concentrate on PA in the same manner as I do now. If I find I can juggle it, though, I hope to return at my earliest conveniance, and perhaps with a Saga or something to keep the masses pleased. I'm not going to write a big 'resignation post' [yet], so don't expect it, here. I'm just reporting that I'm not dead (just sore and burned... stupid people not checking their vehicular Coolant levels... ever!). In any case, that about wraps it up... I will post soon, with new news, once it comes in, but until then, I shall see you all around.
P.S. To everyone with a "Re-Write" bio... re-write it for the forums, ASAP! To those with Aura-colours of (???), post them! You've already lost your credits; don't lose all that you gain, too!

07/18/03 - Wow, almost getting one post per week... That's decent, right? In any case, the Bandwidth is looking alright, but I'll want to keep an eye on it, in case I need to move the JavaMembers to another layout. I updated the Saga Page for the Ornament Saga; still a few things left to do on that, such as Title, 2-Ornament Combos, and stats given (I've given the stats, but I'll post what people got, anyway). Basically, I counted how many battles-parts and story-parts people had (If you didn't fight at all, it was a story part. All the first-turning stories were Battles for the monster-people, so long as they were present... The last match was Story for them all). The names beside the logs describe this; underlined is battle, not is story. Anyway, 6kPL, 6HP, and 6KI(1 Skill) per battle, with non-warriors having a 1d5 chance, per battle-log-participated-in, of gaining an extra Skill point. Being in 2 battles guaranteed you a Speed point, and every battle thereafter gained you a 1d8 roll, with 1 being an extra speed point (Hoboman got 2, Gokan got 1). Warriors also got a 1d25, 1=skill chance of getting an Extra Skill point, but no-one got it. As for Storyline logs, 3kPL, 3HP, 3KI(3/5 chance, rolled, of getting Skill, for non-warriors). As for Bonuses... Warriors had a... 1d20, I believe, chance at Skill, and everyone had 1d14 at Speed. I think Lothar got something, and one of the Goten/Gohan brothers got a Skill point... You can check the Saga page, for more information. As for Credits, I rolled (1d3)*50 per battle, and then gave good thinkers (Gokan/17/Hobo/Wolf/Shenki/Epesi were those I could remember) some extra cash (200 or 400). So, those have all been updated, so enjoy the new stats. I personally think this one went pretty well... Especially considering Log 8 was done on the 29th of June, and that and the following 9 logs were done in less than 3 weeks.
In non-Saga news, the new Layout seems to be a hit, and will be linked to by the Member page onec it is fully complete. The extra features have been pretty good, too, and people have liked them. The auto-updating is making a lot of jobs quite-a-bit easier, and every member on one page makes updating things like Saga stats incredibly simple, for one person (before, two staff would be going at it, and take nearly the same amount of time, anyway). Meat will be opened in less than a week; you can leave for it after you're sure that the arrival date will not be before you openn, or else you overshoot and have a long ride back to Earth. I am still uncertain about a few things on it, so some moves may still be altered/changed, but if any major changes are made, everyone owning it will be given the option to 'sell' it back, at full price. I've already started some stuff on the next planet, too, and I think many of you will like those ideas a bunch, while others won't like making such decisions as they are able to, there.
I'm still hoping to get a new Earth Quest system ready this summer, before I leave, but with 4 jobs (including Paper Route), it's simply finding the time that is the problem. I'm basically going to take the Namek Group Quest program, and add some new enemies, and change some variables, and hopefully it'll run for a single person quest, without me needing to do too much. If not... I don't want to consider the "If not" scenario. I hope to get this done, soon, but, once again, time is a luxioury I just don't seem to have.
So, I think this is all the news... Keep training, checking the site, and checking the forums! And keep an eye out for a change of affiliation link, too, in the possibly-near future!

07/11/03 - Short news... We've had some large Saga-events, and I might open up the Saga page, soon... I won't have the originally-planned free-for-all Death Match thing, though, so I'm letting many of you down. I've also moved the new layout... it is now at THIS LINK! CLICK THIS LINK TO SEE MEMBER STATS!. And for anyone who cannot see it, or is having troubles, please check the "Ney Layout" or some-such titled post in the forum, and leave a message. To EVERYONE: If you have any attacks without auras, that have (???) after them, you MUST post in the "New Bios and Auras" forum post, or else be deducted all of your credits, and keep being deducted them as you get them. This will begin... probably Sunday or Monday, so MAKE YOUR AURA CHOICES! If you want one of the simple (non Black/White/Purple) ones, you've already paid for it... Just choose it! If you want one of the non-simple ones, it'll cost 100 credits. Please spread word of this around, too.
Alright, now that I'm done yelling-like-a-newbie, I suppose I can 'announce' that the 'final' Saga events will take place Monday and/or Tuesday, at various times during the day. Some people may not need to be present, but being there is better than not. People I would especially like to see are Epesi, Android17, Shenki, and Gokan, for their intellect roles during the Saga. The new members page will be made official in the next few days, too, so keep an eye on that... I'll also give instructions, here, on how to use the location-finder in the layout.
1) Click either the Type or Check box. 2) Fill in your corresponding choice, by clicking your location [planet and square] or typing in [precisely! Must match grammar identically], and 3) Click Locate. Simple, no? So, check the forums, keep checking the site, and take a look at the new members layout!

07/02/03 - Alrighty, not too much to report in news... I've got the new layout 'done', with a few things left (Pictures, which I will leave for later, some bio-rewrites, and a few small things), so check your stats at This Link, and compare to your member stats; if something looks out-of-whack (With the exception of a few Saiyans being in 3C when they should have started in 1C), please make a note of it in the form (No, not the complaining thread... a new one, dedicated to the new layout). Please do not over-view this page, yet, since it is nearly 200 kb, and I think that Bandwidth may be problematic, with it; I will be looking into this, and how to fix it. Other than that, I hope to have a Saga event, tonight... if not, I'll make a storyline here or in the forums, and get things rolling, anyway. New members will be put up over the next few days; I appreciate your patience during this change-over process. So, keep training, checking the site, and checking the forums!
