01/21/03 - Alright, I've got news tonight, although I doubt I'll be posting a Storyline. For starters, the hits have been pretty meagre, of late, but that's mostly my fault for not putting up news posts. However, I am disappointed in what I am hearing from the Spar/Move Updator. For starters, let me re-iterate that working as Power Advantage staff is non-profit, and, in all honesty, not really much of an honour. Long hours, many complaints, and little received. Hoboman was chosen for the job; he had no say as to whether he'd get picked (aside from the fact that he applied, along with a dozen other people), and he has been working diligently, with the occasional error. YES, they are occasional! Count proper updates to improper, and I guarantee that the latter is in the minority. In any case, there have been Bans from the forum for... 'less-than-kind' words for Hoboman, and it will be a while, apology or not, for these people to be let back in. I do not take kindly to whiners, or people complaining about PA's staff.
Now, with that out of the way, I was going to introduce some new stuff tonight, but having to deal with that issue took up the time I was going to use to put in the new stuff. I'm not pointing fingers, but it is more than slightly annoying... In any case, I did get two things done over the past while. One is another Article, which is up and done, and the other is a Stats section in the Handbook, with some new stuff that's getting put in. For starters, for every 250,000 PL a Warrior gets, they may add +5 charge to their KI Charge, or add +1.5 Skill to their Skill. Also, when a Warrior gains 12(I think it's twelve; if the Handbook says 11, then it's 11) Skill, they can get +10 KI to their KI Charge, or +2 bonus damage to a non-signature, non-multiplier attack. Non-Warriors, upon reaching Elite at 400,000 PL, get the same +2 damage deal as warriors gain for every 12 Skill(+2 damage, same conditions; they do NOT get something at 12 Skill!!!!). So, Warriors get 12 Skill thing, and every 250k PL thing. Non Warriors only get the 400k PL thing! Now, the Warrior effects happen every time they reach the new stats (So, 500,000 PL they get another, 750,000 another, and 24 Skill another, etc.), and those who already have enough Skill would be updated much faster if they got a SINGLE forum post started, and whoever wanted to use the stats they gained could post their race/name and what they want to use them for. In any case, check the Handbook for that.
Lastly, I have a list of potentially INACTIVE members, all of whom face DELETION if they do not spar in the next week(By this coming Sunday). If they make a move, or purchase, then they get an extra week, but that's it. If you don't want to be active, please let us clean house and make space for new members. So, without further adieu...:

That's 17 possible inactives, with 5 new members who should get to sparring ASAP. Please either stay active, or let me know why you'll be away, or let me know that you aren't interested in PA any longer. In any case, I don't intend to have any mercy with these people, this week, or weeks to come. So, keep training, sparring, purchasing, and checking the forums! I hope to get more Saga stuff when Finals are out of the way!
NEW NOTES: The active people have been removed from the list (Hiryuu, Phyer, Sephiroth and Turles), and the people who are being kept for a further week are in bold. They have until this upcoming Sunday; so if you are friends with them, or know them, send them mail and get them back here, or have them email me their resignation from the RPG. I have exams for the next few days, and then scholarship stuff that may take a bit more time, but I hope to get the Namek Group Quest program done, and the Saga continuing starting next weekend.

01/13-14/03 - Bleh... school is hard, especially with tests and exams.. Oh, well, I get to update, now. I have posted the Saga logs to this point, and hope to update the Saga page to include Cell. 16 has been absorbed (and cannot spar), and Cell has upgraded to his frog-faced form. I hope to have a storyline in this news post, later, possibly tonight, so keep an eye out for that. I have a list of the people who have Quests ready for them (Kagemusha, Android X, Mirai Trunks, and Sephiroth are the only ones I can recall, off the top of my head), so I hope to get those done, soon. More news later.

And later has come. Been quite busy, so I'll post a storyline, and mention that I've decided not to include Elements and Field effects on Meat, just yet. I believe I posted all the refunds properly (Sale prices were mostly 400). So, without further adieu...

The warriors on Kami's Lookout were still grieving the loss of Android 16, while also dreading the powers that Cell now had.
So that is what Cell meant when he pierced X... He needed Androids, was the common thought filling their minds.
Meanwhile, they had another puzzle before them, one that was almost as pressing as the Biological Android they were bound to face.
Android 17 was one of the likely targets of Cell's Android-ingestion, as was X and Orgun, but could they afford to re-activate 17?
With #16 gone, and Reno out with the still uncured virus, no-one was technologically capable enough to know what on Earth had been done to 17, and had even less knowledge of whether or not he was ready to be turned on, yet.
And, yet, if they didn't, Cell might absorb him without him being able to put up a fight, and he had a great deal of fight to put up.
It was quite a decision to make.

So, post on the forums your thoughts, and keep sparring and checking the site! I did a bandwidth check, and we're doing fine, so don't worry too much about that. Inactivity purge will be taking place very soon, so new guys should get started ASAP! -LanderZ

01/02/03 - And a Happy New Year to you all; It's 1-2-3, and I've moved onto my new laptop, so I have been updating plenty, and moving stuff over ASAP. I am 3 or so weeks behind in bandwidth, but I don't think it would be enough to push us over the edge of our limit, considering how low we were, before. The sale is now over, and I will be updating the credits earned at last night's little 'party', which I found to be quite enjoyable. I hope to try catching up on Quests, but I don't think they'll be back to the daily-done way anytime soon; so, it's back to the 5 week thing, it seems. I also have a storyline that I promised...

Xar was rushed to the hospital as quickly as he could be transported, before being transferred to the same one as Reno. The conditions seemed to be almost identical, leading doctors to believe that they might have derived from the same source.
Jeice had also recently fallen ill, and was moved to the same hospital, while doctors were totally perplexed as to what the disease was, or if any of the patients could survive.
In space, Hoboman had also develloped the illness, and Brolli was forced to pilot the ship back to Earth, in the vain hope that someone there might be able to cure it.

However, in some desolate place on Earth, a meeting was taking place:
"I know you from somewhere..." Dr. Gero questioned the green fiend before him.
Cell could only smirk at that.
"Tell me! Why is it that you're so familiar?" He asked, again.
"Because you will create me," Cell began, before bringing his tail down over the Android's neck, snapping it, and removing its head from the chrome body it was on.

Fenix was still dead, and it would take someone questing on Namek to get him back. Korin was still puzzled over the Senzu crisis, and wasn't sure if or when he'd be able to get fresh Beans for the fighters. Things were looking grim, and no sign of improvement was near...

Well, there you have it. I hope to have a Saga event or two, this afternoon or tonight, so be online for that if you want some action! Keep training and checking the message boards, too!
