Updates/News
02/21/03 - Well, I got some marks back today, and despite the fact that I had the busiest workday of my life (Curse you, Gordan! Curse you!), and after finding out I potentially have the highest Principles of Math 12 (I.e. Math 12) grades in the province [whee! I mean, honestly, I'm 1% away from perfect...], I've worked up enough energy to post news, and Storyline. I haven't checked the Bandwidth in a while... I hope it's alright... Hits are nearing 200,000, so keep checking the site! Cell Games are tomorrow, and the forums have been pretty... active. Two weeks from now is a 2-week Spring Break, so I hope to do major catching up, from quests to new stuff, then. Until then, though, I'm just trying to keep on the boat...
With the Cell games rapidly approaching, the Mako Cannon not yet ready for use, and Ramirez's failed return with a cure for the disease, the ill warriors were only hours from death, their gaunt forms being supported by the machines on the table. The virus was still running its toll, but it seemed that it was no longer contagious.
Then, mysteriously, with less than twenty-four hours left until the tournament at 1B, Galaxia returned, bearing a small, ornamental necklace, of a metallic-yellow colour. She said that she needed to be alone with the sick people, so everyone left, and she has been in there, ever since.
Not half bad, eh? The Games should be a hit, but they aren't a 1-day event, either. Saturday night, Sunday morning (pre-noon, PST), perhaps some Sunday night (doubt it), and early the following week. I hope to have it done in around those times.
I am also going to be gone next weekend, in case I can't post by then. Physics Olympics championships in Vancouver, so my hard work should be paying off, then. So, keep training and checking the forums!

02/21/03 - Alrighty... One scholarship is nearly out of the way (40,000 Cdn$..), and that's my biggest worry... did well on my english essay, so I'm feeling good, and so I'm going to post a STORYLINE!! Yes! And this one is actually IMPORTANT!! Not like the 'nature is good' ones I've done, before. So...
The warriors of Earth were growing very restless, with the threat of Cell looming over them, and none of them having any capability to stand up against his might. After absorbing Android #17, he seemed invincible.
Some fighters had begun to grow so restless, that plans were being made of confronting him, and some were even so drastic as to start building better weapons. The Super Mako Cannon was showing promise... at least in the blueprint stages...
Galaxia had reached Konats, and was exploring for the cure to the mysterious virus, only to get told some private information, which she had not yet broadcast back to Earth. Hopefully the news would be better than the condition of the ailing fighters, who were within days of their deaths.
Yet it was the smaller warriors who caught the announcement, as they watched their morning television, and hurredly awoke everyone else to see the 'early-breaking' news, at half past 3 AM, when Cell was on television!
He must have broken into the studio, as there were noticably dead people on the ground, but he chuckled, before beginning his announcement.
"People of Earth! I am Cell, and it is your time to die."
"I am the most powerful being in the universe, and thanks to your stronger fighters, I was capable of achieving my greatest potential. For this, I will spare your lives..."
"I will be holding a tournament, in which you will be given the chance to save your own lives. The rules will be similar to your own World Tournaments, but with the final prize being my destroying of the planet, or of my own defeat."
"Bring your strongest fighters, and be prepared to die! The Cell Games will begin in nine days. You have nine days to bid your farewells to your loved ones, and to your planet, before I win this tournament, and destroy the world."
After this, he gave sketchy directions to the spot he would hold the tournament at, before giving one final warning.
"Everyone is welcome! You'll all die, sooner or later, so why not ensure it is as painful as it can be?"
With a laugh, Cell leaves the building through a back wall, leaving the warriors with the solemn message, and a place to meet.
Nine days. There were nine days until they could face Cell, for the fate of the planet, and, eventually, the fate of everything.
Well, there you have it. The tournament will probably be over several days, but the first events will be Saturday, March 1st, at around 7:45 PM PST. Be there, if you can, but I hope to have a dozen or so matches that night, and a half dozen or fewer for the following 2-3 nights, and I'll announce the final saga time, after this. So, we can finally get things going! Huzzah! Keep training and checking the forum!

02/14/03 - My goodness; look at the time go. Things have really been piling up, here, and I think it's too close to blowing over... baka... Father had surgery, so aside from the fact that I'm incredibly worried about him, now, even though he's home, I also need to do his driving and whatnot. I've been getting to school before 7:30, daily, and getting home around 5:10, due to Physics Olympics meetings three times per day... Scholarship essays due in two weeks, worth 26,000 dollars, and my courses are already feeling heavier by the minute. To top it off, my second job sent me its first e-mail to get me to start work, building webpages. Well, although I really, really hate to do this, and it pretty much goes against everything I believe in in independance, I need to ask for help. Mostly just with these webpages that need building; I have absolutely NO time to work PA if I need to get those, as well... In any case, if anyone with relative skill and knowledge wishes to help put this stuff together, please give me an email. I'm very sorry for asking for such a thing, but I don't see any other way I can keep PA going, let alone the Saga going, without some support.
Now, onto slightly more positive notes... Cell Saga event last Friday ended with 17's absorption, and Cell's 'Perfect' form being reached. The sick people (Jeice included), have more wires in them than most Androids have inside of them, and are just barely hanging on, now. Galaxia has left for Konats, Podrin has vanished, and now a big Cell is on the rampage. Fun, no? Now, It's pretty much up to you guys to decide what needs doing; no hints given, so you're in the dark, and need to work off of trial and error.
I also did some big updates yesterday (Well, I got the standard purchases and stuff...), as well as getting the Quest stuff updated. Kagemusha's Quest has been given to the other Staff, and 17's stats have been made (He sent it in before he got de-activated, so it's still alright for him to go), and the other 2 people either didn't reply to the emails, or were trying to Revive Fenix with Earth DBalls, which cannot be done. Also, 200,000 hits are coming up; 500 credits to whoever gets the picture of it (Whole screenshot; not the picture of the icon, alone), or split between two people who are close to it. Send it to me in an email, with time you got it, and character race/name, please.
I hope this helps explain my absense a bit more... Once again, I really hate to bring my own life into PA, but I'm having trouble hanging on, as it is... Keep training and checking the forums...

02/05/03 - Bleh... been far too long between updates, but I am entitled to slightly more personal time, at the moment... Well, for a few days, at least. I also figure it's high time to get the Saga moving; I hope to have some sort of scrimmage, later this week, and I have a storyline for now. I checked Bandwidth for the first time in about a month, but it was good an low... So, without further adieu
The world had seem to fall under a sullen gloom, torn between fear and worry, before the endless silence stretched out beyond recognition. The citizens of earth slowly grew more confident, and, reassured that Cell was gone, threw many parties as to his departure.
However, it was well known that he was not gone, to any trained in KI detection.
The warriors of earth were still nervous; Cell's power was tremendous, and they could feel him at all times. Even the non-warriors could sense the troubled sense in the air, and knew what was about.
The debate as to reactivate Android #17 had been tiresome and long, but in the end, it had been decided that they would reactivate him, but not quite yet.
However, the day of reckoning was nigh.
The warriors gathered on Kami's Lookout as Rufus' scientist, Hojo, checked the last wires, before announcing that the switch would be activated in one hour, restoring him (hopefully) to full power. This would be an obvious beacon for Cell, so the warriors were ready for any possible assult. Or, as ready as they'd ever be.
A few people had considered looking for a cure for the sick warriors, but Hoboman, Reno, Jeice and Xar all remained ill, and unable to help in anything more than staying alive. Their lives were fading quick, and everyone was still baffled as to how to cure them. Something would need to be done soon, however, or they would die, and not be able to be brought back.
Podrin seemed to have gone into hiding, and despite various search efforts, the young Namekian couldn't be found, anywhere. It was troubling that the healer was gone, but Wolfwood was still available, right?
As the hour came to its end, the warriors gathered, watching as the meters on the screen neared their pinnacle. Android X held the switch in his hand, before the machine began to beep violently...
Well, leaving a bit of suspence, but it will play into the party mix, later. I hope you enjoyed!!
