Updates/News
08/25/03 - Well, I took LZ mentioning my changing e-mails as a cue to do so. So, the following pages have changes in who to e-mail: Handbook, Quest Info, Store, Trainings, Suggestions. I belive those are all the pages that need changing, except for sagas/tounrmanets, but I'll ask Lander about that later. The one big change is, to add my e-mail (Runaway246@hotmail.com) to your address list, for those of you that don't feel like looking at each page I changed. Well, that's all I need to post about. One last promise I made to someone: Thanks to Brolli for helping in the new staff member decision, and thanks for everything Lander.

08/25/03 - Well, I suppose this will probably be my last PA News post for a while, so I'll make it somewhat of a gratitude/last moments one, to say my final farewells.
To start off, I must make it perfectly clear that, despite my moaning, whining and grumpiness, I have loved PA, and have for over 2 years now. Albeit, MCrashinNow was the driving force for the first few months, but I began pitching in, and eventually took over when his time failed, and have enjoyed every minute of the ride. Sure, some parts were bumpy, but that doesn't mean the ride wasn't fun; a roller-coaster with no loops or bumps would be notably boring, and I feel the same would apply, here.
Power Advantage has been, and always will be, a part of my life. It's just a way of living, now, waking up, walking on my paper route while thinking about prospective moves, trainings and/or Sagas. I have grown accustomed to the newbies asking dumb questions, and have even come up with some witty responses (I don't often block them anymore, either!).
I know I'm going to forget some people in this list, but here are some people I really want to thank, for all their help and support here:
Kagato, and by all other names... You have been a vital part to much of the creativity I used to fuel new moves and Sagas, as well as being a dedicated artist and member[s].
16, we were friends before, and I'm glad our friendship could carry on, here. I only wish more of the old group had kicked around, but I'm glad we have a reminent of it left.
Voon... well, you annoyed the heck out of me, but gave some good ideas. Almost repays your debt to my patience.
Evangelion, your humour will always be appreciated. Laughter is the best medecine, and you ensured I got my daily dosage whenever we met. I'm still hoping on starting that... ?'bonsai'? Garden, too.
X/Daimao/Other Canadians, it has been great being able to make fun of those darned Yankees behind their backs.
Mirai Trunks, you've been the scape-goat more often than not, oddly enough being the target of flames that probably would have gone to me, if you weren't around. You've been my longest-member stress-ball for a while, so you deserve some thanks.
Squall and all other names, you were my lab-rat more than once, and despite our disagreements, that is very useful to have when introducing new things into a system.
All Staff: You have all been great, and I thank you all for taking on the extra work to keep PA running whilst I am out. I am certain you'll all do a great job.
And to anyone I may have forgotten, I appreciate your contributions to PA, whether they be in the form of Suggestions, or just being an active member.
I am not leaving completely; I hope to be around every so often, but I want to give University, and all it has to offer, a fair chance.
Now, I did promise some people that I would reveal my name; I have been LanderZ for years, but I am nearly of adult age (2 more days, whee), so I suppose the name Steven Smith isn't forbidden. I'd prefer to still go by LanderZ, but, yeah, that's my name. And, yes, your emails have always frightened me for a minute or two, Goten.
For the Staff, I moved the members page over, today; anime3/poweracquire is the new directory. Members can still get to it from here, like normal, but it'll help with bandwidth when I'm gone. The Signature Chart in the Handbook has been updated to show all basic information, so if your healing isn't updated, you can post in the forum, etc. Raziel will be updating the different pages with contact information, with these new lists of who-to-email:
New members and related things go to 17. Quests go to Hoboman. Purchases/Space Stuff/Trainings/Misc. Stuff goes to Raziel. Skill and PL Bonuses should still go to the forum, and Raziel can update them.
So.... yeah, not a great deal much to say. I will be giving the store 4 more full Senzus before I go, since they are running low, and I should have a working version of the new Earth Quest formula ready before I leave; All questing bans will be lifted, at that point, and Hobo will be given the power to ban those who he sees fit.
I might do another Article or two while gone, but I still hope that submissions might be sent; that page isn't completely worthless, people!
So, in the end... I suppose this is a farewell; not goodbye, but still a 'so long'. I will give the staff my new email address (Ha! No chance will I post it here), and I expect to get no spam or chain letters or whatnot, but if anything dire comes up they can still reach me. I hope to return soon, and see all your happy faces, knowing that I left PA in good hands.

08/22/03 - I don't post too often, however when I do... I would like it to be good news. Unfortunatley this is not the case, three viruses have been spreading rapidly across the world. Due to incoming freshman and such on my campus with new computers, one if not all three have infected our school's network. Thus, they shut down our connections in dorm rooms on campus and only have the lab computers online. As you could imagine, the lab is quite full, and until they clean up the virus (4-7 days it's the time frame expected), I won't be able to get on long, if at all. This post is in regards to those attempting to join the RPG, and those sending honor matches, please be understanding. I will attempt to get on every other day to update these things, if not though... I'll try ASAP, thank you for your time, and your understanding.

08/16/03 - Well, I haven't posted anything on the news in how long, so I decided I should. First i want to say congrats to Raziel on becoming newest staff member, he won't be as good as Lander, as we all know, but he will do good. I want to let you all know that, I had problems updating, so I will update last week and this week on monday. That's all I really have to say, keep training and don't check the site too much.

08/15/03 - Not much in the way of news... Raziel is the new Staff member, and I will post on the news when he is taking over the Store and Trainings purchases, so send them to me until then. I need to train 17 to do new members, and have the emails sent to him, not me. 3 Group Quest stats have been made (Pardus/Seph, Raziel/Wolf, and Chibi Gohan/Don), so those will hopefully get done before I leave. Other than that, keep Bandwidth low for a while, simply to try and keep away from another huge 40+Mb day... Angelfire has also given us a cgi-bin, so, if I'm really lucky (and devoted...) I might be able to work that into something. Otherwise, keep trainings, checking the forums, and check the site sporadically.

08/12/03 - Well, as you all may have guessed by now, I've just got promoted to the new PA staff job. As of right now, I have no clue as to what my jobs are. So I would greatly appreciate it if I don't get any questions or requests on updating stats. As my first little 'act of being helpful' I'd like to repeat Landers warning in the forums: The bandwidth has skyrocketed in the past few days, so please try to limit site viewing. Well, I guess that's it. I'll have my tasks handed out to me soon enough and will get right to work. Many thanks to LZ, Hobo and 17 for the acceptance.

08/05/03 - Bleh, Bandwidth is looking alright; still could jump up without warning and crash us, but it'd need to be pretty severe. Podrin has made the first set of wishes for his Dragonballs: Revival of two Trios of fighters (Raziel/Pardus/Android X, and Sephiroth/Kagemusha/Fenix), and stats for those getting off of Kaio's have been done. I made a new 'article' in the Articles section, including a new Calculator (Fusion Dance one), which will be helpful to all those wishing to attempt or calculate Fusion. I'm almost 'done' a working version of the new Earth Quest formula, so I might have that up for the weekend (Although my 3 days off is now over, so I have 6 days of work... yuck. Plus other stuff, I will be busy). Nonetheless, lots of PL and Skill bonuses to post on forum, as well as some Pity Bonuses (Pardus, you were supposed to get Genki Dama, but it seems you already have it... As well as Team Twister and Kaioken... I suppose going to Kaio's THREE times does that...) In any case, keep checking the site and forum, and I might have some new news, soon.
Almost P.S. Note: Almost forgot this... Staff Applications are open, for the 'unknown' position (Probably assorted stuff, like purchases and junk). Form is found HERE, so fill that out if you wish to apply. Please note that the ending paragraph is important, in every way possible, so take your time to ensure it is done properly. I am preferably looking for someone who will be enterring Grade 11 this coming year, or someone not yet graduated from High School (Due to time, not due to some pedophilac obsession my neighbour-member has ;-)

08/01/03 - People, people... when I give a warning about Bio re-writes and the (???) aura moves, I mean do something about it! Come this Sunday, anyone who has (???) auras or not made an attempt (good one!) to re-write their bio loses all of their credits (Or stats, if their cash is too low to suffice for punishment). Our Bandwidth is going up, but I think it will do alright (Actually, we'll have a better idea in the next 2-3 days... One high spike will have passed in that time, too). Now, next little thing to report: Anyone who asks me about the new moves, and asks me to explain a blatantly, stupidly obvious question about them (I.e. O.W.L. stuff) will be blocked from my buddy list, and possibly facing the same punishment Ryan and Trunks(Who are now back) faced. If it's not on an open, official page, then I have no need to 'answer' to it, and trying my patience has finally finished.
Now, with those out of the way... Shenki has returned to Earth, today, with his new Specials (Revival and a note in bonus), and he brought a friend. Actually, just a great guy... Podrin! Yes, Mr. Kami is back, and he even brought his own set of Dragonballs.... how sweet. Check the deities page to see what wishes are available; the first 2 wishes made require no quest to find them, but the ones after that must re-find the scattered balls. Plus, his Dragonballs are limited to 1 pair of wishes every 2 weeks, irregardless of who does them. The formula will probably just be the Earth single formula (Which I am currently working on... Biggest problems will be the last boss(es), but otherwise going well), so I hope to have that back up in 2 weeks. I'm also going to open the Kami Trainings page, to show what Kamis can get and do with their own Dragonballs (Note: Like most trainings, they are subject to change), so a potential incentive to visit the Deitial Reader on Meat. In any case, keep checking the site, the forums, and keep training!
