Bloopers Contest

Join Form Walthrough

We can now look towards the bottom of the Join Form, beginning with the Clans. These starting clans play relatively little role in the day-to-day basis of the RPG, but they may affect select Sagas, and they also affect certain purchases you may make. There is a list at the bottom of the Clans page stating the bonus advantage for each given Clan, allowing you to buy an item or training for 300 credits cheaper than normal. Keep in mind, however, that this holds for one purchase, not for every Scouter or Gravity Chamber training. Let it also be known that the clan you put in your Join form will be what you have your whole time with that character in the RPG. Once your character is put up, you may join character-built clans, in addition to this one, but the clan you choose here will be your clan for the remainder of your character's existance.

Let it also be known that there are several restrictions regarding the clans. Beyond the few stated on the Join Page (Such as Evil Humans only in Evil-Doers, and Aliens only in Frieza's Army and Henchmen), there are some that can be affected by what Alignment you choose:

In this form, the player tried to join as a Neutral member of the Earth Z Fighters. As stated on the Join Page, all members of the Earth Z Fighters must be of Good alignment. Here's another problem:

Although this is a rather obvious error, with a Part-Saiyan attempting to be one of the Namek Planetary Protectors, this problem also relates to Frieza's Army and Henchmen, Evil Doers, Saiyan Army, and Plant People. Check out the Join Page for more details on these specifications. Here's a properly filled out form:

No allegiance is the safest route to go if you want your form accepted quicker, since several people can't seem to grasp the concept of the rules of clans. With a Part-Saiyan of Neutral alignment, there isn't any other clan that they can join, anyway.

Things to remember:
  • Alignment and Clan can conflict. Check the Join Page for the Clan details.
  • Race and Clan can conflict. Check the Join Page for the Clan details.
  • The Clan you choose on the Join Form stays with you for life. No changing it, later.
  • You may be a member to both the introductory Clan you choose, as well as a member-made Clan.
  • Check the Clans Page for more information on Clan-bonus purchases.
  • When in doubt, stick with no Allegiance.
  • Ensure the Bio is written in relation to the clan; A Namek Planetary Protector, even Evil, would not want to blow up Namek, etc.
