Anime Revolution

Anime Revolution [A New Beginning...] June 23, 2002
Today, Anime Revolution is opening its doors. We have been down for nearly a year, and have done little work since then. Offline things got in the way, but as summer passes, the community should flourish. So, we decided to become a part of the community. This site is intended to be for fans, made by fans. We do not compete to be the best; our only incentive is that our viewers will enjoy our hours of work. Detailed reviews, summaries, and information are constructed just for you. Have fun, because that's what we're doing.

I posted two new movie reviews, that being Princess Mononoke and Akira. Mononoke is basically just a re-write. Akira is brandspankingnew and has that "new review" smell. Enjoy the reading and expect Eva info soon.

The magazine hits shelves in November at an MSRP of $19.95 ($31.95 for Canada). However, a special promotion issue, Issue #0, is set to hit the shelves of Suncoast on August 1. I've returned from my offline hiatus, and it's back to work. A big thanks goes out to all those who nominated Anime Revolution for a Crossfire Award. We didn't win any, but being new, it doesn't bother me much. Check back for an official opening in the days to come.

Anime Revolution has been nominated for two awards at the aforemention Crossfire Awards. The catergories are "Most Under Rated Website" and "Best Information In An Anime Webiste". Guess What? - Posted By Otaku Man On June 23, 2002

Well, today is the day that we are supposed to open. Due to the lack of work on my part, we are only going to be open for viewing from affiliates and future hosts. I apologize for this. We were, however, nominated for a Crossfire Award. Be sure to go there and vote for us by e-mail. We'll be officially open before you know it.
