Time Period: After Majin Buu is killed, before DBGT starts.

The saga starts off with a reunion at Master Roshi's house. Everyone having a good time and naturally Goku shows up late. Gohan is telling in detail how hard it was to beat Cell and how Goku was there to help him. Then Goku starts talking about how Majin Buu was Goku's toughest advisary to date. Master Roshi turned on the TV and there was a special report. A large group of men in foreign black outfits had been attacking forests and wildlife reserves all over the Earth. The Z-Fighters went to the predicted forest that was about to be destroyed. Fortunately it was miles away from civilization and they had predicted the correct spot of the men's arrival. They found out they were an army of nearly 5,000 troops, the called themselves the Abyss Warriors. The Abyss Warriors stood up straight and saluted six fighters that had unquestionably eerie powers. Goku sensed a massive but horrible power from those six fighters. One of the six fighters gave one of the Abyss Warriors a Dragonball Radar that looked much different from the one Bulma had previously designed. The man said "You have four hours to retrieve the dragonballs to me." Piccolo's keen hearing heard what he had said and told the others. Tien said "B-But who are they? What d-do they want with the dragonballs?" Piccolo said "I'm not sure, yet. But we better keep our guard up and prepare for the worst." All the Abyss Warriors split and began their search for the seven dragonballs. The six warriors approached the Z-Fighters. The leader said "Are you people the excuses for Earth's defense?" Goku said "Who are you and what do you want with the dragonballs!?" The leader responded with "We are space pirates you could say. We take resources from planets until it renders the inhabitants defenseless then we rule that planet with ease." Krillin said "Man, this really reminds me of Raditz…" The leader continued the answer to Goku's question "After a thorough examination of this planet we stumbled across your dragonballs. We need the dragonballs to resurrect Master Yukon." Trunks asked Vegeta "Hey dad, who is Master Yukon? Vegeta said "Trunks… his name sounds familiar but I don't know where I've heard it somewhere before." The leader said "Master Yukon once did business with Planet Vegeta about fifty years ago." Vegeta said "I remember now, he's the one that traded weapons with us and Frieza's armies. I also remember rumors that he was many times stronger than Frieza, but I never believed it." The leader said "That's right, however Master Yukon met with an unfortunate accident two years ago when he was killed by an incurable disease that attacked his brain and killed him here on Earth while in the process of destroying all it's resources such as water, plant life, and animals. Allow us to introduce ourselves, I am Menin, the leader of the warriors until Yukon returns to life." Another man stepped up "I am Kumano". An attractive woman said "I am Frita." A muscular brute the size of Nappa stomped over and said "I am Skor." Another woman stepped forward "My name is Marah." And last but not least a punk walked up and said "I am Dergun." Goku said "Man, I don't like this… this looks like we're in for the fight of our lives." Yamcha said "Okay, we have our work cut out for us so lets increase our odds by fighting the warrior with the power level nearest our own; and form Gotenks and Gogeta!" Krillin said "Yeah! Great idea Yamcha! We'll win for sure!" Goten and Trunks formed SSJ3 Gotenks and Goku and Vegeta formed SSJ3 Gogeta. Gogeta decided as follows: Gogeta fights Menin; Gotenks fights Kumano; Gohan fights Frita; Piccolo fights Skor; Tien fights Marah; and Yamcha fights Dergun. Krillin said "Yeah, I can't fight for a while cause of that incident when my wife when on a rampage. Heh, sorry guys. I'm gonna have to sit this one out." Menin said "I couldn't help to over here your plans on who fights who. So why don't we have a tournament instead, we will have the pairing as you had just mentioned." Gotenks said "All right! I've never been in a tournament when there was actually a decently strong opponent!" Menin used a technique of his to make a ring appear out of nowhere. Menin said "We shall fight here. These fights are to the death, no other way out unless you win. Here is the first match Dergun Vs. Yamcha! Yamcha nervously made his way up to the ring with Dergun, due to the fact he had not fought in a long while. Dergun said "C'mon man! You're moving slower than a snail!" Yamcha then got in his fighting stance, then soon did Dergun. The battle commenced with Dergun slugging Yamcha in the gut. Yamcha was down catching his breath, when Dergun was wanting to make this battle a short crisp minute he started to power up for one massive attack. With Yamcha down the Z-Fighters are in shock not knowing if this was the end of their friend Yamcha. Gogeta was even in 'ahh' when he saw what about to happen to Yamcha. Yamcha then remembered how he hadn't made much of a difference in any of the fights they had; he thought of when he let his guard down against the Saibaimen than he could have finished off easily; he remembered how scared he was when Frieza came to earth and when he brought up the idea to go home because the had no chance; he thought of when Cell was attacking Gohan that he made little or no difference when he tried to help. This made Yamcha furious. Yamcha bursted out with rage and attacked Dergun with one swift kick in the stomach shredded him in half. Degun said gurgling blood from his mouth "Ya…you… cant… ba... beat… Yukon..." Yamcha then silently left the ring over towards Gohan and the others. Gogeta enjoyed to see the fire in Yamcha's eyes and how he sliced the punk Dergun in half. Menin sighed and said "You will all pay for that in time. But now its time for the next match Marah Vs. Tien…" Tien, stepping around Derguns corpse, approached the center of the ring. Marah had a technique, which enabled her to read minds, therefore she knew how Tien thought and his fighting style. The battle began with Marah dodging all of Tien's attacks with ease. Tien was exhausted after about 3 minutes of continuous punching and kicking. But Marah had not broken a sweat. Marah then started to pound on Tien like a punching bag. Tien was almost dead until Gogeta started to cheer him on then Piccolo cheered then Krillin and the rest of the Z-fighters. Tien regained self-esteem and shot Marah with and energy blast, Marah flew back about 20 feet until she regained balance. Tien had one last resort; Tien flew up into the sky leaving Marah down on the ring confused. He told the Z-fighters to clear the area. Gohan knew that Tien was going to use the technique he used against Cell when he was attempting to absorb Android 18. Tien started to get ready when Marah was meanwhile reading his mind trying to figure out what he was doing but it was a case of too little too late Tien had already gathered enough energy to eradicate Marah. Tien realesed all his power into one shot which left a perfectly square crater in the ground. Tien had won. Meanwhile to Abyss Warrioirs had already collected two of the seven dragonballs. Menin still in shock that Marah was defeated he created a new ring at a location 100 yards away. Menin said to himself "Maybe I've under estimated these guys. I better be on my toes at all times." Then Menin said aloud "It is now time for the 3rd match, Piccolo Vs. Skor. Piccolo, never feared of size, displayed with his fight with Sancho, and Garlic Jr. (Movie 1, The Dead Zone), walked up convident that Skor would be overconfident with his size. Once the battle started they appeared equally matched until Skor used his special technique, the Haioken, very similar to the Kaioken but uses the evil anxiety and temptations to multiply his power for a short period of time. Piccolo stood no chance against while when he was in that state. Piccolo was taking the pounding of his life Skor grabbed his arms and ripped them from his sockets. Piccolo had never been in such pain, never been in such extreme torture. Skor did not stop there, Skor then resumed his beating and pounding on Piccolo. Piccolo started to pass out when all of the sudden the pounding had stopped. Skor was frozen in pain when his muscles started to bubble. He started to get spasms from using his technique to intense and too much. Piccolo slowly rose to his feet. Piccolo then regenerated his arms and laughed at Skor while he started to power up for his Special Beam Cannon attack. Skor, in addition to his pain he was overwhelmed by seeing Piccolo regenerate his arms he then backed up a few steps in fear. Piccolo had completed gathering energy need for his attack. Skor stood waiting for Piccolo's move. Piccolo fired the beam at Skor. Skor then used his Haioken and dodged then attack. Since Skor had not fully recovered from his last use of his maneuver. Skor was again defenseless and in extreme pain. Piccolo not worried from Skor's move redirected his beam cannon to Skor's current location. Skor had no defense and was rendered headless after the beam shot dead on through his head. Piccolo limped of the ring to stand with the Z-Fighters along the side of the ring! Menin, then wanted to see how well Gohan did against the beautiful Frita. Menin said lets commence battle number four Frita Vs.Gohan!
