Oozaru:
This form is mainly seen in the Z series. This form was the strongest stage a Saiyam could achive, before the Super Saiyan came. The Oozaru or "Were-Monkey" transfomration can only be achived when a Saiyan "with" a tail, looks at a full moon or an energy ball that has the power to produce as much light as a moon. While in this stage, the Saiyan grows fur all over his body, eyes turn red, it grows to massive sizes and strengh increases 10 times.
Super Saiyan:
This form is much more powerful than a normal Saiyan. While in this form, muscles bulge, hair stands strait up, hair and eyebrows turn bright yellow and eyes turn green. To achive this form the Saiyan has to have a power level of over 100,000 and an immense amount of anger. After first transfomration other transfomrations become easy.
Ultra Super Saiyan:
This is a beefed-up form, the only time you can use this is when you are between Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. When in this form muscles grow greatly. And have desired amount of power, although in this form speed decreases greatly. This is a very powerful form stronger than a normal Super Saiyan, but not quite as fast. Anger has nothing to do with this transformation.
Super Saiyan 2:
This form greatly exceeds the normal Super Saiyan along with the Ultra Super Saiyan. In this form, hair gets a little longer and sticks up more, muscles bulge more, and grow immense ammount of power. Gohan was the first to achive this transfomration.
Super Saiyan 3:
This is by far the strongest and oddest looking Super Saiyan stage(that is in the three original series). In this form hair grows down to feet, eyebrows are gone, eyes green and has an immense amount of power. Goku is the only real Saiyan to reach this form(besides a fused warrior).
Super Saiyan 4:
This form is only seen in the Dragon Ball GT series. This is said not to be a true saiyan, considering that the original creators of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z did not create this series. In this form Warriors don't have the bright yellow hair and green eyes they keep their hair and eye color(except for Gogeta). the grow fur across most of their body, and have on weird looking pants. This is suppose to be the true Saiyan
because to achive this form at first they are Golden Oozaru before they transform into this stage. And as Vegeta told the story of the Super Saiyan it was a Golden Oozaru in the background.
