A Brief History
Hello prospective employers. My name is David R Scoular and I've designed this page to give you a better look at who I am. I was born in Dallas, Texas and have lived most of my life in St. Louis, Missouri. While in St. Louis I attended Metro Classical and Academic High School, a school for the gifted. I maintained a good grade point average, an impressive feat considering that Metro was ranked the #40 high school in the nation at the time of my graduation. Also I scored very highly on my ACT.
In addition to attending high school, I worked part time at McDonald's and was also very active in my Boy Scout Troop (St. Louis Troop 142). While in high school I did numerous community service for my church and also with the Boy Scouts. I finished work on my Eagle Scout Badge in December of 2005 and received my award in April of 2006.
After graduation, I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for a year, but decided that it was not a good fit for me. I returned to St. Louis and began working full time at McDonald's while attending classes at St. Louis Community College at Meremac. I was quickly promoted at McDonald's and began working mornings in 2008. Soon after this I was promoted again to assistant opening manager and began managing the truck orders and inventory for the store. Our store manager has been named one of the top 200 in the country, so it should be clear that our store is run extremely well.
In 2009, I was ready to return to a four year university and was accepted to the University of Wyoming. I have been attending there since Fall of 2009 and am currently working on my Bachelors of Science in Accounting with the hopes of becoming a Certified Public Accountant, while also receiving certification in Managerial Accounting. I have maintained a stellar GPA and have made the Deans List as evidenced below in the achievements section.
