The World
This RPG takes place in the same world/universe that Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT all existed in, just several years later. Technology is pretty much the same, Nameks are living in peace on New Namek, but people are still working to become powerful. Existing characters from the Dragonball Universe are not selectable for play, but several exist to teach moves to your character.
Email Functions
This RPG will run through a play-by-email basis. Actions are emailed into our address at zfighterunited@hotmail.com and later during the evening and night they are posted. Only one email is to be sent each day, if you are emailing for a quest or a fight, the email has to be sent by 5pm US Mountain standard time, all others must be received before the time of 8:00 p.m. US Mountain standard time(az) time. If there are any questions about the system, please feel free to email at the above address any concerns or comments.
Due to problems with e-mailing, for some members, you are permitted to post your actions on the message board in the “Actions” section of the forum. If that is more convenient for you, then by all means use that form.

Races
Pretty much the starting point for your character, you need to choose a race before starting out on your quest for strength. Advantages and Disadvantages are listed below, along with a short background of the race.
Halfbreeds- This RPG is set in the future, so therefore there are no full blooded Saiyans left for play, considering the last two survivors were male. Often times, Halfbreeds are born with tails, and when they view the full moon, transform into an Oozaru, the rampaging ape-beast. Halfbreeds gain power when damaged heavily or are revived from death, making them a formidable adversary for anyone. Very few halfbreeds have managed to tap into their true power and harness the incredible force of Super Saiyan.
Nameks - The rulers of Planet Namek, these green-skinned people have lived on their planet, fairly sheltered from the bustling Earthen lifestyle. Mostly a peaceful race, there seems to be a band of evil Nameks gaining numbers in recent years. Nameks use a large array of strange techniques, ranging from extending and re-growing your limbs, to shooting electricity from your antennae. Their ability to regenerate limbs, Nameks take little time to heal after battles.
Human - Humans are often portrayed as the weak, wisecracking members of fighting squads, but thanks to the efforts of Krillen and Tien Shinhan, they are being taken seriously as Martial Artists. Through intense training, humans are, eventually, capable of learning almost every available technique there is. Often times, humans are the most intelligent fighters around and are well-rounded in all categories. Some of the most powerful techniques are only available to Human warriors.
Android -Artificial Humans. The first Androids were created by Dr. Gero, of the Red Ribbon Army. Androids are capable of undermining their own programming, and make their own decisions. Once androids gain control of their emotions, they are extremely powerful warriors that seemingly never get tired during battle. Because they are Androids, they are capable of reaching their max power level with little or no time at all, making them capable of countering attacks easier then any of the other races. Androids start the RPG with the ability to fly.
Yardrat - Goku met these strange creatures before returning to Earth after the destruction of Namek. Timid at first, Yardrats are now frequent visitors of Earth. Most Yardrats are scientists, but lately, several have begun journey’s to become powerful warriors. Yardrats begin the game with the technique, Instant Transmition ( Shunkan Idou, if you prefer) which allows them to travel to any area where a member is present. (skin-Blue or Purple)(eye- black)(hair-none)
Icer - The Icers are an ancient race of beings from a planet far, far, away. King Cold, Coola, and Freiza belong to this race of people. With incredible physical strength, and their ability to gain forms quickly, they are among the most powerful warriors in the universe. The trait common among all Icers, is their desire to be the best, either through the domination of worlds, or simply to become the most powerful being in the universe. Alignment
The alignment of your character is a necessity in the creation of your character. It determines who is most likely to be your allies in the game, and determines which techniques you are capable of learning from certain trainers.There are three alignments: good, evil, and neutral. Good and Evil are the main alignments, neutral is there pretty much just as a transitional period between switching sides.Alignment can be changed on the first Friday of every month. But to go from Good to Evil, you must first go to Neutral. So basically it will take two months to switch from Good to Evil. I repeat, "To Switch from Good to Evil or Evil to Good you must first go Neutral."
There are a few Neutral Trainers and while you're aligned as neutral you can only train with them. However, both Good and Evil can train with Neutral Trainers as well as their normal ones.
While you are evil you are pretty much able to do whatever you want, attacking and killing whomever you please. Although because of the difficulty in being brought back to life alot of members will hold a grudge against you if you kill them for no reason.
When you are good, obviously, you are not permitted to attack and kill other good members. Think about it, would Goku attack and kill Tien or Gohan? No, they are all good so there is a common understanding between them.
Special Features
You do not start out with the ability to sense, or cloak your ki. Instead you must earn those abilities by competing in activities that raise your wins and losses. After 10 wins/losses, you gain the ability to sense ki. After 15 wins/losses, you gain the ability to cloak ki. These techniques are mainly used for quests against opponents that don’t know your actual strength.
Icer’s are unable to gain either of these abilities though, they must rely on special items to tell them of impending danger.
Tournaments and Time
World Martial Arts tournaments do happen in this RPG. They occur once every 4 months. That means they are held every two years, in game time.
Time exists in this RPG. Every two months, your character ages one year. So, just be aware of it.
Moves
When you start out in the RPG, you have no moves, except the simple punches, kicks, and generic blast of ki. You are however, capable of learning techniques from Trainers in the same area as you, meaning you can’t learn Kaio Ken while on Earth.
Scattered across the different planets, are the Trainers in the game, mostly characters from the Dragon Ball universe. Each trainer has a certain amount of requirements you must meet before attempting to learn the move. Some Trainers have limits to the amount of pupils they can take on at a time, and can discriminate against your character due to race, alignment, or power level.
The “rating” of a move is how long it takes to learn, if you stop learning before the days are met, you will not receive the technique in your move list. In order to learn about each of the trainers, go to the Trainers page
Conditioning
The first of Every Month, each member is given a certain amount of days to condition themselves and raise their power level. You have 8 days to Train and 3 days to Spar. Training is something you do on your own. You can travel, and be attacked while training. Sparring is something you must do with a partner. You can be attacked but can't attack while sparring. You do not have to use all of your days at once, you can split them up over the month. All days reset on the first of every month.
Nameks and Yardrats have the ability to condition themselves with Energy Meditation as well as Training and Sparring. While in Energy Meditation you can do nothing. If you are attacked while in Energy Meditation your concentration is broken and must send and email the next day to resume.
Another form of Conditioning is Gravity Room Training. Gravity Room training does not subtract from your training days. You have a limited days of gravity training. These days don't reset each month, instead they reset once you reach 6 days. You start with one day of Gravity Training and you can save them till you reach 5. Like stated, once you reach 6 days you go back down to 0.
Because Capsule Corp has only 1 Gravity Room, sometimes you might not be able to use your day each month. Planet Qube has a gravity room as well, so if there is no room on Earth for you, try there. I am going to start being more strict on the amount of people using the gravity room. If someone else is in on the day you want to use it, you have to wait until they’re finished.
The Room of Spirits and Time as well as the Pendulum Room do exist in this RPG. Both of which are located on Kami's Lookout. To gain an invitation, you will have to be involved in a quest that will be posted later.
Battles & Groups
I'm not going to hinder who you can and can't attack, but just use good judgment. Don't attack people that are just getting started in the game, it's not a very nice way to welcome them. You won't get much power level from attacking those that are a lot weaker than you.
I will begin this dual part section with explanations of each type of battle (For all battles you must be located in the same place as your target):
Ambush - The Ambush is the basic type of battle. The attacker emails the RPG, or posts on the message board, stating whom they wish to attack. Usually favors the attacker, but it depends on who you attack.
Duel - Participants in these battles must each email the RPG. Usually, the people that engage in these battles are of similar power level. Neither side gains an advantage over the other.
Assault - Little more than an enhanced ambush, an assault involves many people against one person or a group of persons. Only the aggressors must email.
Blackout - Yielding the least gain for the attacker, it’s pretty much a simple punch on the head, then run away type of battle.
When you send your email to attack someone, include the following: your character name, their name, the type of attack, and at the most 3 main techniques you'd like to use. This does not mean that you won't use the others, these are the ones you will use mainly in that one battle.
You are permitted to ‘group’ with two other members. While grouped, if you are attacked, your group members are involved in the battle as well. Your group members will be listed underneath your information, and they must email as well for the grouping to exist. You are grouped together until someone leaves the area without the other group members.
Death and Afterlife
Death is a big part of this RPG (mainly due to a certain someone who likes to kill people). When you die, the only way to be brought back to life is to have someone wish you back with the dragon balls. If you are good, when you die in a battle, you go to Grand Kaio. If you are evil, when you die, you go to Hell.
When a good person is on a Quest and dies, that character is taken to Snake Way. Snake Way is very long and will take 8 days to reach the end of it. Being on Snake Way is not an option, if you're good and you die on a quest you are sent there automatically. If you don't want to go on Snake Way, you can just jump off and go to Hell.
You can be brought back to life repeatedly using the dragon balls from Earth or Namek. If somehow your dead character makes it back into the living world, you are at great risk. In Hell or at Kaio, Snake Way, and Grand Kai a dead character can not die again. But if a dead character is taken to New Namek, Yardrat, or Earth you can die. If your character dies again while being dead, you are gone forever. You have to make a new character. So be careful.
Traveling times are listed on the Map page. If you want to go somewhere, email us. To travel to other planets, you need a space pod. Space pods are sometimes given out in quests, so keep your eye on that page. To travel to a location such as Capsule Corp. etc, just email us saying so. You'll be take there that day, but you can't leave that location till the next day. There is no travel time for trainers, simply email us the trainer and the attack you'd like to train for( remember, one attack at a time).
Dragonballs
Without these, there would be no Dragon Ball Z, so they have to be included. Dragon balls, in this game, are used to wish for Moves, items, and to bring people back from the dead. Dragonballs can only be gathered with Scouters and dragon ball radars. Though you could be lucky and find one during a quest or battle.
The Black Star Dragonballs are those that were made by the Namek before he split into Kami and Piccolo. When they were reunited these dragonballs were activated. These dragonballs are impossible to find with scouters and locators(in this game). They are spread out across the planets. When all these dragonballs are gathered you can grant one wish. This wish can be basically anything because these dragonballs are so powerful. A wish made with these can only be changed back with the Black Star Dragonballs and not with the others. But there is a catch. Once a wish is made with these, all 7 Black Star Dragonballs must be returned to that planet in 2 months or it and all on it will be destroyed.
Inventory
There are many items to collect in this game, but there is a limit to how many you can have. You are allowed 4 slots for inventory. All items (except seeds/beans and dragonballs) take up one slot. Dragonballs take up no slots. You can have a maximum of 8 senzu beans or 8 saibaseeds or 4 senzus and 4 saibas (I think you can do the math) in one slot. King Yamma's fruit and other items similar to it take up a whole slot. But you can always eat the edible things and have that slot available. You can drop items, but once they are dropped you can not have them back. Those items might be picked up by other players at random or they might be lost forever. In Quests you often get inventory items, once a Quest is completed there will be a listing of what you earned. If you can't hold all of your winnings, you can email me the next day telling me what you want to drop or keep. Inventory items range from armor, scouters, dragonball locators, boots, gloves, turbans, etc.
Inventory items that you wear have certain attributes. Wearing some might bring down your fighting power while increasing your percentage intake, increase your percentage intake, or just increase your fighting power. Check the Items page to see. When you receive a clothing item from a battle or quest, you will not be wearing it at first. You must email me saying that you would like to wear something/s you have. If you wear something into a battle and you die, the person that killed you has their choice of one item that you were wearing at the time of your death. Also, wearing items into battle can also get those items destroyed from time to time, so be careful.
Saibaseeds are in this RPG. Saibamen have powerlevels of 1,200 but will only remain for the battle they were planted in. After that they are gone.
Quests
Quests are tasks for one character or many. The difficuly of Quests may and will differ. Quests sometimes yield great rewards, yet are time-consuming and often very confusing. For information on any available quests, go to the Quest Page.

Any questions may also be directed to one of thies addresses, yet only during the weekend. The joining address will not be listed because no one needs to use it except for applications.
