Graduation Day!

Tomorrow is my graduation day. It is now 12.20 am so technically today is my graduation day. I'm so nervous, don't know why. I still have about 8 hours to sleep. The ceremony starts at 12.00 pm, but I've decided to wake up at 8.00 so I could get ready because I've arranged with my mum to pick me up at 9.30. Hopefully to get to the venue 2 hours early.

Anyway, I've got to go to sleep if I want to get those 8 hours.

The Adventure

My dad has been on holiday for two weeks and just recently started going to work again. I sort of miss the way I would ask him to drop me off in some place when I needed to go somewhere. Now, of course without a car of my own I have to rely on public transportation, which comprises of 4 things I hate doing, waiting, walking, buses and trains. Normally, I wouldn't mind walking but just the fact that I know there's an easier way to get where I wanted to go is what's bugging me.

It was Friday last week and I needed to go to St Marys. I caught the bus, then the train. On the train there was this 3 people, 2 male and 1 female. They seem crazy, I thought they might be drunk. They all wanted to sit togehter, so they asked the guy who is already comfortably sitting on his seat to move to the next seat, of course he did not resist, nobody wants to start a fight with drunk people. Though the guy (one of the drunk people) asked politely, still you can't help but feel frightened. They are drunk, most of the time they probably don't know what they are doing. I try not to look at them, just incase they start throwing nasty words I wouldn't want the rest of the people on the train think they are saying it to me. I've often travelled in trains, and have experience many train dramas that happened to other people, however, there was this one time when it actually happened to me. So, I ve learned my lesson. Never to get involve and just mind your own business.

Anyway, they were all talking and for some reason they needed a pen, and they looked at me and this guy asked if he could borrow a pen from me. Normally, I would lie and just say that I don't have a pen, but I remember opening my bag earlier to get some tissues and I thought they probably saw the pen. I'm not sure if they saw the pen, but just incase they did I've decided to just lend them my pen. Then the guy, whom they asked to move to another seat earlier looked and smiled at me, and I smiled back at him as if we have this mutual agreement that those people are crazy.

One of the drunk people still have my pen and I was hoping he will give it back. He already finished what he was writing and decided to give the pen back to one of his friends, then his friend had to remind him that the pen was mine. He is so drunk he forgets everything so quickly.

Then it was my stop. So, I got off the train and the guy who smiled at me got off as well. We were both going to St. Mary's. I've decided to walk a bit slow, so he would be in front of me. Sometimes, I get so paranoid thinking people might follow me. So, I walk just behind him.
From time to time, he was looking back, maybe to see where I was or something. Then he disappeared, so I turned to a corner and saw him looking back. I think he might be waiting for me. I'm not saying he likes me, maybe he is just curious where I might be going, I would be curious where he is going too. So, after that, I've decided to take a completely different turn.

In no time, I got to the place that I needed to go to, I saw a uni friend of mine (first year friend) from a different course (not related to computers at all), but I didn't talk to her because I don't know what to say to her. It's not as if we are that close, we were just "small talk" friend. I know it's bad, but I pretended I didn't see her. I just didn't want "small talk" right then, I've got so much in my mind.

After a few minutes later, I was back at the train station to catch the train back to my town. Then all of a sudden we heard shouting from across the street, and there was this two adults fighting with each other. Everyone at the station were looking, trying to catch a glimpse of the two people fighting, even those further from other platforms. People shouldn't fight, I know that but watching those two fight provided us with an entertainment while waiting for the train.

After I got off the train, I've decided to go to the mall to window shop but instead, I ended up buying a Season 2; Buffy DVDs. When I got to the counter to pay for it, the girl told me how much she loves the Buffy series. We ended up talking about the TV show, and I felt quite an expert, she had so many questions and I'm able to answer them all, even those from the new season that I didn't get to watch ('cause I'm afraid to watch it, though I tape it, haven't watched it). I'm afraid to watch NOT because I thought it is a scary show. My goodness, I'm quite immune to scary shows. The movie The Ring is by far the only scary movie that really scared me. I'm afraid to watch Buffy because the way they are writing my favourite characters Spike, Drusilla and their relationship (which is bad news for us who are Spike/Dru 'shippers). If you have been watching the show since day 1, they you'll understand what I mean.

Going back to the girl, she asked me if there's anymore that I know, any news or rumours, of course I had to break it to her that this is the last season of Buffy. After this season, it's finished. She was a bit upset with that. But hey, I told her there is still Angel. I asked her which Buffy season was her favourite, she told me the one when Faith was on (which I agree) and she added she kinda likes Season 6, which of course annoyed me a bit because to me it is the worst season ever, so I had to ask her why season 6? She told me because there was the musical (which I also kinda like, hey I even bought the music sheet not long ago), and Tara died, which I had to asked if she hated Tara, and she replied no, it's just that it was a powerful episode when she died. She also said about Spike wanting a soul (which I totally disagree), but so far I was happy that she didn't mention Spike and Buffy being together.
Then she asked me in turn, if season 2 is my favourite since I was buying the DVD. She also asked me what happened in season 2. I told her, it was the best season because so many things happened like Angel became bad, Spike and Dru was introduced, Buffy lost her virginity, we learned more about Angel's past, Willow and Xander having an affair, we learned more about Gile's past, Gile's girlfriend died, there's another slayer (Kendra) and I could go on and on. She told me, if I liked Angel, which I quickly replied I like Spike and Drusilla. She told me she had to watch season 2 because she hasn't seen it, she also asked which season was the one Faith was on, and I replied it was season 3. I believe she probably discovered the show on season 3. She was kinda young and I thought during season 2, she was probably 12 years old (maybe younger) back then or something.

As, I was waiting for the bus home, I realised I had quite an adventure, especially on the train. But that was enough adventure for the day, I just wanted to go home and watch James Marsters and Juliet Landau on DVD.

Home Is Where My Website Is

It always happens to me. When I thought I've found my home it's time to move on. It's exactly what I felt about this 'activetopic' and 'tag-board' thing. I was so pissed off when activetopic was gone (for a while), so I used tag-board, and then when I was getting used to the idea of using 'tag-board', activetopic is back. Now, I have to choose between those two which I found so hard because they both fit my VPC site very nicely.
Of course in the end I chose 'activetopic' which was the first one to be there and activetopic is good for dynamic websites which is the way I designed mine. I think I'll just end up putting tag-board on my other Spike/Dru site.

There has been so many things happening. There is this thing I have to do and it seems like fate is telling me to do it. Many things reminds me about it. When I read the letter it is signed by a guy who has the same name of my favourite male singer and that name is very rare in this country. Then the first time I was reading the letter I was watching The Simpsons and bits of the episode is actually "about it".
Coincidences always happens to me. It's like when I think of something, later on it will present itself. For example, I have this question in my head and for some reason hours later I'll get the answer either I'll see it on TV or someone will tell me, etc.

Also, weeks ago for some reason I've decided to stay up to watch more TV. When I stay up really late 'till 4.00 in the morning it is usually because I'm on the net. However, after my daily routine of watching Will and Grace, Friends, Inside Edition and Boy Meets World on cable TV, for some reason I've decided to look at other channels, instead of going to bed which I usually do. I also have a blank video ready because for some reason I wanted to tape what I was watching that time.
Then while I was flipping channels, I came across the Hallmark channel and is showing an announcement that says Hollywood Squares is coming up next. Then I remembered, JM my favourite actor was one of the celebrities who guessed on that celebrity game show and was wondering if they had already shown it on TV or not. So, I keep flipping the channels just in case I'll come across something I like before I go to sleep. When I flip the channel back to Hallmark I saw JM then I thought Oh my goodness this is it!!! ........ this is the episode he is in. So, of course with the video ready I started to record it. Also, the last question in that game for the week reminded me of my favourite actress JL.

I just can't believe my luck. For some reason I wanted to stay up and have a video tape ready. I just found out why.

So, I'm thinking. I should trust my instincts........ if not .......... I should trust fate............ most of all God.

Electric Dreams

Went to Paramatta Westfield yesterday and spent the day with Bella, Josie, Arvs and Amali.
Arvs, Jos and Ama decided to meet each other at 11.00 am, I arrived at 2.00 pm because I needed more sleep for having stayed up all night ('till morning) to use the Internet. (I get free Internet from 1.00 am to 7.00 am). I ended up sleeping 5.00 in the morning that day.
Bella arrived at 3.30 because she worked from morning to 2.30 pm and it takes an hour drive from where she works (Penrith) to Parra.

I spent so much money yesterday. I bought some stuffs from the Chemist in Penrith, then 4 books at Dymocks, a stuff toy set from one of those cute stores Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel (which reminded me of Spike and Dru because of the red and black clothes they were wearing) and a daily planner from Grace Bros. Not to mention those foods (lunch and an ice cream) and 4 bottles of water I've purchased.
When I withdrew money and checked my balance I found out I spent more than $200.
I was carrying the stuff I bought all day, when I got home my hands and fingers really hurt. Not just a little, a lot. I could feel it when I tried to sleep.
Anyway, I didn't mind spending the money. I haven't been getting out much so the money is just sitting there and piling up (as Josie puts it). Sooner or later I have to get a job and I just couldn't sit around, so might as well enjoy life now while I'm not working and still dependent on my parents especially while they still see fit giving me money.
But of course, I wouldn't mind just staying at home and going out just once in a while. It is better to have money in the bank. I think I should start saving.

Life is great right now. I could spend so much time doing things that I like. Working on my website, posting and reading comments on my favourite messageboards, buying CD's. watching or renting movies, watching TV/cable, playing the piano, listening to CD's, taking a long bath and many more.

I didn't expect to enjoy my time yesterday that I did. It's great seeing everyone again. We ate, we shop, we laughed, we looked at pictures, we took photo, we did so much.
When we were having lunch, there was this guy approaching and then Arvs said it was his brother, at first I thought he was joking but then I realise he was telling the truth. His brother's friend is sitting just behind us. It was a coincidence as well as we were joking that the next time we meet each other again Bella should bring her bestfriend Anita, Arvin should bring his brother and sister and Josie should bring her bestfriend Esver.
Then minutes later we saw Arv's brother briefly, an hour later Josie got a call from Esver so we met her at Dymocks. It was like our joke (in a way) is coming true. All we needed was Anita. Ohhhhhhhhh where is Anita??? I can't wait to see her. Anita is sooooooooooooooooo funny =)
Maybe if we had stayed 'till the next day (hiding in the toilets at night), maybe Anita mysteriously would have appeared.
I mean think about it, if minutes later Arvs brother appeared, then an hour later it was Esver, a day later could have been Anita?

Anyway, we had a great day. For a while the three of us, Amali, Bella and I was separated from Arvs, Jos and Esver. We bought ice cream while the other three went to accompany Esver while she eat her dinner.
Actually, we came up with a funny idea while we were eating ice cream. We heard an announcement about someone looking for someone. Then we thought we could go to the information desk and ask the lady to announce that we lost our friend Arvin. We would tell her, for Arvin to meet us near the Indian place in the food court. His description would be dark, Igorot, dark FS and short woolo. No just kidding, the description would only be dark.
When we finally went to the information desk, the lady just told us that she would only page or announce it if the one lost is a child.
Then we thought there's nothing we could do, if only we knew, we would have pretended that Arvin was our little nephew or something.

After that, we went to where the other three is at. Esver just finished her dinner then after that we finally went home. The weather was so hot yesterday. I think it was suppose to be the hottest for this week. The six of us caught the train. Amali is on another platform because her train is travelling the other way. Mariebel is suppose to be on another platform as well because she lives nearer to Amali than any of us, but she left her car in Penrith so she had to catch the train with us.
We told Arvin how we saw this sign in Blacktown that says 'Wolo' which is almost his 'nick' name (another inside joke). Mariebel and I was then waiting to see the sign, when the train finally made it to Blacktown we've discovered that the sign was gone. Then we saw this guy carrying the sign on his way to the lift, then we laughed. I thought it was yet another coincidence that Mariebel would decide to catch the train that day, when the sign was on.

The three muskeeters, Josie, Arvs and Esver got off to fight yet another battle at their favourite mountain in Druitt, No- just kidding. They did got off at Mt Druitt just to go home no battle whatsoever. Which left only me and Bella on the train. We then have to get off at St Mary's because the train does not go all the way to Penrith. We had to catch another train for the remaining destination. We then came up with the master/slave joke that we thought was so funny.
Later at Penrith, Bella and I talked for a while. Then she had to go home and I had to go to Penrith Mall to withdraw money and pass some time.

I then have to wait for another bus, which is the 'move zone' bus. Westbus recently introduced this "move zone" bus, where the bus don't go to its usual route. I'll tell more about this later on. The bus driver that night was young and good looking and he was so nice to me. He talked to me for a while when I got on then when I got off he talked a bit again. And he was looking at me with his eyes that it seems like it is trying to be gentle or something.
BUS DRIVERS!!! another story to tell. I have so many tale I could tell about bus drivers. So many experience both good and bad.

I'm trying to pass the time because I didn't want to go home while my dad is still awake. He has been bugging me with these lost keys in our house. I'm a bit pissed off, at first he blame my brother maybe he mistakenly took it home with him (my bro lives with my mum) when he last visited, then now he thought I'm the one who lost it. I don't think so.
When I got home, the lost key is already there. I could only guess my dad found it somewhere only he would know. It was he who lost it all along. Then, today he put a really big key chain on the key. Maybe so he wouldn't lose it again.

.................... Part 2 ....................

I just had a call from my brother. He is coming at 8.00 pm. It's becoming his routine to visit on Fridays and stay 'till Sunday.
He told me to get ready so when he arrives we'll go to Blockbuster to rent and return videos. I think he will stay the night (probably 'till Sunday) so we could watch movies.

I can't believe it's been a week again. Exactly a week ago, he came in the afternoon, we watched those movies that I taped. An 80's movie called Electric Dreams and another recent movie called Lip Service.

Lip Service was enjoyable. I'll recommend it. It is a Canadian TV movie with Kari Wuhrer (from Sliders).

The other movie I taped was Electric Dreams. It was a popular movie in the 80's probably a first of its kind. It is where the song of the same title came from. The song goes "We'll always be together, however far it seems, we'll always be together, together in electric dreams". Sounds familiar ??????
Anyway, it stars Virginia Madsen who I thought has an uncanny resemblance of Gillian Anderson. If you've seen Virginia Madsen in the movie Candy Man, she really looked like Scully (Miss Anderson in X-Files).
In this Electric Dreams movie however, she is a bit younger. The movie is about a computer who falls in love with a girl and became a friend/enemy to a guy. You probably think it sounds corny already but if you watch it, you can't help but sympathise with the machine in the end. Feeling emotions toward an object (a non-living thing) is one of those magic a movie could do.
This is one of those movies with moral to the story. It makes you realise the real definition of being a human being, the reality of love, the possible destruction of humanity with technology and so much more.
Nowadays, we have movies with the same morals such as Artificial Intelligence and Bicentennial Man, but back in the 80's it was this movie. So, I though it is probably the first of this kind of movies.

In that movie there were a few scenes where the computer screen was turning/turned off. Then after the movie finished and the credits rolled up, our TV just turned off by itself. And I didn't think anything of it, 'cause I'm still used to seeing screens turning off from the movie. Then it took time for me to realise we had no electricity, there was a black out.
I then thought maybe it has something to do with bushfires or something. We waited for about an hour for the electricity to come back.
Do you know how boring it is without electricity? There was nothing to do. We can't listen to the radio or play CD's, we can't watch TV or play videos, we can't turn on the computer and I can't play my piano keyboard, and on top of it all it was so hot because there was no air conditioning. Some of our phones are not even working because of it. All of a sudden you realise how dependent you really are on electricity.

So, all I did was lie down on the couch and wait for the electricity to come back, it was so hot that day too. I began to fall asleep, because I was so bored and I knew if I did fall asleep I would forget how bored and hot I was. The electricity came back but only for a few minutes (30 min) and there was a black out again.
We waited again for the electricity to come back. Then another hour later the lights came back, you hear the sound of appliances coming back to life and electric clocks starts to blink. Electricity is here again and it's been a week since it came back. Let's hope it stays like this forever. Men!!! we live in an electric dream.

Resident Evil

I can't believe that it has been a week since Sherwin invited us to play games with him last Thursday. He was so nice. It made my day, as well as Bella, Arvs and Josie.

Playing games had been fun. One of the games we played (or I watched) was 'Resident Evil' and when I saw it I thought I've seen this game before. I just couldn't remember where so I didn't tell anyone. Then when I told my brother about our little game on Thursday, he reminded me that he once played it with his friend while I was at his house.
(So, that's where I saw it from)

I've learned something from my four friends by watching them play games. I learned that Sherwin is nice and only wants us to have fun. Maybe because it is still in the early stages of our friendship with him that he hasn't shown his true color. Or maybe he is just nice all along. I've also learned who is competitive (though they try to hide it) but when they lose I could tell it bothered them and when they win they rub it in your face (though I didn't mind -- it's only a game -- I thought one of them is cute when they do). I knew some of my friends are like that. I've been an observant for quite some time. Some competitive people are alright but there are some who takes it so seriously and those are the people I try to distance myself from. There was also who is a typical game player who concentrates and screams a lot. I for one didn't care whether I win or lose. Sometimes I drift off into my dream world only to hear someone tells me to continue (press that button, Viv).

I disappeared for a while to eat and be alone with my thoughts. Sometimes, if my friends gets too loud I had to go somewhere.

My favourite game that day was the Super Mario Party (or something...). I was Peaches then later on Luigi.

Bella won many games. CONGRATULATIONS!!! She is really good. Having many brothers really helped a lot. She is so funny too.

I've been listening to CD's my friends burn for me. There are many songs I really like. I thought it was funny how Bella put Khia's song "My Neck, My Back" (Dirty version) as an opening track and put the male version of that song as the closing track. There's also a song there that made me laugh "Killing Me Softly" which is an inside joke between me and Bella.

Tomorrow is my mum's birthday. I think she wants to take us out for dinner.

I've gotta go to sleep it's getting late .............. or early. Depends how you look at things.

The Princess of Bella(ir):
Rich Girl Bella

Had a nice time with Bella last Tuesday. The night before we agreed to meet at Penrith Station at 10.30 and so we did the next day. We first had breakfast then we called someone on the phone, after that we circled around Penrith.
We went to Paramatta after. We had lunch then Bella bought many blank CDs. I think she is going to do a lot of burning CDs for sometime.

Our plan was to go to Disney Store first then watch a movie. There was this Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuff toy I wanted to buy since the last time we were there. It was the one when Minnie and Mickey are wearing those white clothes. They were wearing something one would wear in the snow. It is a christmas edition. Mickey is wearing white coat and pants while Minnie is wearing those white dress and coat, Which is so different from their usual red and white ensemble.
Should I be concerned that I'm no longer a child and still interested in toys?

Anyway, we've decided to check what time the movie 'The Hot Chick' is going to play. So, we could get back to the cinema on time. But we soon found out that the movie is going to be played really late, so we've decided to watch something else instead. We ended up watching 'Two Weeks Notice', but we had to put off going to the Disney Store after the movie since the movie has already started. Fortunately, when we got in, the movie hasn't started yet.

The movie was funny. There were many funny moments, but just like many romantic comedies, it is quite predictable.

After the movie, we went to the Disney store as planned, but the Mickey and Minnie Mouse I wanted wasn't there anymore. I was sort of expecting it since it is no longer Christmas. (Well, you can't always have want you want right???) But I wasn't about to come out empty handed, I wanted to buy any Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuffy toy, it doesn't matter whatever they are wearing. I ended up getting the Mouse duo in their usual outfit.

On the counter, we asked for the Christmas Mickey and Minnie Mouse edition, if they still have it in the back or something, but the woman in the counter informed us it was already sold out.

I've heard recently that the Disney store is gonna be close for good. I'd like to think that atleast I own something from that store. I should have bought one of those snowdomes (damn!!!).

After that, Mariebel dropped me off at Paramatta Station and I went home.
I was in a hurry to get home. Maybe because I was tired and I needed to rest. I manage to catch the next train, which was an express train.
I slept for a while, but I woke up just on time before my stop. I thought I was lucky, I didn't slept through and ended up in Blue Mountains. But when the train was approaching Penrith Station which was the station I'm suppose to get off. The train didn't slow down. I began to wonder............. until it just went past my station.

For some reason, I didn't bother reading where the train is suppose to stop. I've always thought any express train always stop at Penrith first. (Why Emu Plains this time?) AAAh, never assume anything.

If only I knew it won't stop at Penrith, I would have caught the next train that stops at Penrith and caught the bus just on time, instead of having no choice but to get off to the next station to catch the train back and having to wait another half an hour for the next bus.

Just like my life. The more I rush things the more it sets me back. Next time check the signs first.
