BIBLICALLY-BASED INVESTING

$$$

THINK of ALL the THOUSANDS of PEOPLE WHO L O S T ALL THE MONEY they
put into the casino slot machines and Powerball gambling.
THINK of all the dreary, disappointed faces lined up along slot-machine troughs and in bingo sanctuaries
like stupid swine transfixed for the slaughter!
Do NOT publicize the one-in-120-million winner;
publicize INSTEAD the 120 million LOSERS!
Pretty expensive entertainment- I'd say - simply to see a few lights flash, numbers and pictures roll, and hear the dingaling sounds!

The POWERBALL billboard slogan: "It could happen" is demonically deceptive.
An HONEST replacement would instead be: "It probably WON'T happen!"

A MUCH more REALISTIC and RELIABLE way to make money using your HOME (not public library) computer on the internet is to affiliate with a well-known and reputable online billing company. The need for people to pay their bills online will increase exponentially, so find out more by logging into:

Scripturally-HONEST and COURAGEOUSLY-conveyed information must be declared for discerning saints of Christ Jesus to determine which companies to BOYCOTT and which to non-ashamedly and openly PURCHASE FROM and INVEST IN.

It is NOT enough to (negatively) boycott certain corporations (be they "penny-stock" startups or well-established dinosaurs) by BOTH not buying their products or services AND advising others to do the same: one must (positively) purchase from AND advertise for those companies deserving promotion.

Sometimes, certain dis-honorable companies have a local, statewide, or national MONOPOLY on their produce or service; they are "the only game in town." Those are situations where either one (reluctantly) buys from them...or seriously goes without some dire necessity only they can provide. In scenarios like that, one must deprive themselves and suffer, trust that God will provide by some other means as soon as possible, or do business with the disreputable entities with the excuse of "making friends by means of nonrighteous mammon."

So HOW can one tell: (1) WHAT exactly is (substantially-enough) "disreputable," and (2) WHO is then disreputable, by established or arbitrary definition?

Pertaining to the FIRST point, BIBLE verses give insight and understanding in correctly defining "good" compared to "evil." SO-called (indeed: blasphemously MIS-called) "Socially Responsible Investing" (SRI) can actually mean promoting feminist-sexist females over men in authoritative company positions of leadership, offering same- sex benefits to homogay sodomites, racistly favoring cheap-wage blacks or mexicans over caucasian whites, etc. Such is clearly CONTRARY to a plethoria of Bible verses such as Leviticus 27:1-5, Leviticus 20:13, Isaiah 3:12, Romans 1:26-27, I Corinthians 6:9-10, 11:1-16, 14:33-38, I Timothy 2:12, I Peter 3:7 and more.

Even "Values Based Investing" (VBI) may mean excluding investing in national-defense weaponry securities, prejudicially insisting on anti-meat animal-worship vegetarianism, and attempting to force everyone to abstain from alcoholic-beverage distributors. With the Wedding-of-Cana-related admonition of Saint Paul in I Timothy 5:23 to moderately ingest REAL wine for at LEAST medicinal purposes, VBI frequently is ALSO contrary to Scripture.

Clearly, any business or company whose main product or service involves promoting or supporting homosexual-perversion "diversity" or "nondiscrimination," "assertive" feminist-sexist "equal opportunity," "reproductive"-"health" abortion homicide, evolution MYTHOLOGY, anti-Israel antisemitism, addiction to nicotene or narcotics, etc. is OBVIOUSLY to be both BOYCOTTED and NOT invested in!

Simple and easily-accessible internet websites and news media advertisement observation RELIABLY indicates in SUBTLE ways the MASSIVE bulk of a submerged iceberg of which only the publicized above-water tip is visible. If something LOOKS a LITTLE bad or questionable, it USUALLY and PROBABLY is a LOT bad if one could find out and investigate the TOTALITY of the ENTIRE situation. In other words, a LITTLE goes a LONG way!

Besides the moral/immoral/amoral type of product or service a company PUBLICLY puts out as an OBVIOUS record of its worth or worthlessness, there are four areas of corporate functioning one should try to discover and analyze:

1. the gender, financial, and moral (or immoral) REPUTATION of company managers (including presidents, vice-presidents, CEOs, etc.)

2. the type of advertising their advertising department runs (on TV, in newsprint, and on their internet websites

3. the character of employees hired and fired, and

4. who the company repeatedly or mainly does business WITH and what grants and subsidies are giving to WHAT "community-service" outfits (e.g. "battered women," "planned parentlessness," etc.?)

Concerning corporate advertising, does their advertising department air TV or radio ads (and print news-media ads) portraying PARTIALLY-pornographic images (such as pictures of bare-armed, bare-legged, bare-footed, and/or LOOSE-long-haired female humans)? If so, their company has an anti-social perversion problem which probably quite seriously affects production and performance in every area.

If their advertising department has women's voices in their TV and radio ads instead of men's voices for no good cause, there is a SEXUAL HARASSMENT company problem also quite substantially affecting production and efficiency.

Other criteria, of course, could be stated. Each saint, however, must decide which are vital, which are more important than others, and where to draw the ultimate line between complete or partial participation and avoidance.
