As they entered the armory, they noticed the floors were in a tasteless array of parkay patterns with amatureish scrawlings written on them. It made the whole place look very low class. Arkon stepped up to the long counter and noticed the price on a morningstar identical to what the trolls were carrying. the price, 4 million coins. He told the others and said they should go back and pick up the morningstars. They did, but the trolls had regenned and it was another knock-down fight. At least they had six of the morningstars now. As they pawned the morning stars, each of their sacks became heavy with gold. One morningstar was saved and Bulls carried it as he had the most strength. A small wooden shield for 5000 coins was purchased. It's description was, "you are looking at a small wooden balkori shield." "What's a balkori?" queried Wildchild. "Beats me." said Grundeg, "But i bet we find out. Let Asmodian keep one on his belt, it may be of some use later." There was a huge longsword that had no price on it. When Salandair clicked on it, the seller told him, "I'm sorry, but that's not for sale. However, with the right trade, I just might consider and even swap!" The guild tried each of the newly found items they had accumulated, nothing worked. "Probably have to kill something big for it i bet." said Flagg. "Probably." replied Sal. There were instant heal sellers (2 oz size) and scroll sellers of all kinds in the Armory. Purchases were made and sacks once laden with gold dwindled down to more modest amounts. They left the armory and saw before them a forest of towering pines. It was a very dark forest, but it was abundant with wildlife and didn't seem too treacherous. An enormous sign etched in blood was found after a few steps into the forest. It read, "BALKORI FOREST. ENTER AND DIE!" "Well, so much for a serene forest." snorted Termin. No sooner than he said that a repeated thump hit his chest, he felt an explosion with each hit and soon found himself slain by a hidden Balkori archer. Asmodian immediately wielded his small wooden Balkori shield and dove into the dark forest. He came out a few moments later screaming for more IH. "This shield is great! IT cuts damage by at least 75%! Like some sort of energyshield but better! The group ran back and purchased more Balkori shields and made their way through the forst without incident. Along they way they found strange gems, twigs, swampbat tails and various other curious artifacts. Bullseye found a blue colored rock that had flecks of silver in it. "Wonder what this is for?" remarked Bullseye. At the edge of the forest was an opening. Staring them eyeball to eyeball was an enormous wyrm called a Kraksir. Before they could react, the Kraksir was upon them and all in the group were near death when the Wyrm breathed on them. The breath was unknown to them. It was like fire, but it worked like poison. It was an extremely harsh fight, resulting in the guild fleeing back to the forest and to the armory for more of the 2 oz instant heal bottles. It was nice that th einstant heals were 2 ounce, this meant that effectively each bottle was 2 drinks so a sack could carry 60 heals. That extra healing power was definately needed. The kraksir left no corpse, but what remained was a large oval egg. Arkon collected the egg, it did not tie. About every 20 steps they ran into another Kraksir. The day was spent fighting Kraksirs, getting ih, and getting more gold for IH. It was a very long day. Once the group left the area that seemed to be the Kraksir lairs, they came upon a base of a mountain. Inscribed in the mountain base was a tablet in an ancient script. "At the summit the only thing that is certain is death. Go back while you can." The guild started up the mountain, as they never paid heed to any signs and death was just another path to adventure. Peering over the ledge, Grundeg...
