I only started writing poetry in fall of 2000, so if you find this disgustingly horrible, forgive me.
This is only a small selection of my poems. All poems fall into one of two catagories:
1. My friends like them
2. They're one of my favorites
I have the name of the poem and a bit about it listed. Enjoy the wanderings of my mind and the whisperings of my "moose" (my muse). **NOTE: For all who do not know, cariadwyn is equivelent to soul mate**
The link image---- will bring you back to this page. It is located at the bottom of all the pages.
I wrote this after a break up. The guy was and still is one of my best friends. The only problem is he's more like my brother than my cariadwyn. Trust me, I know the difference now, since I found both of those.
This is old. I found it while packing up my room to move out. It was originally supposed to be a song that my friend was going to write music for, but it never happened.
Another "on my door" poem. I just randomly wrote two lines before I left for breakfast and wrote two more at break before I ran up all the stairs in Mitchell.
This was derived from a someone's reaction to me sending them the lyrics to Edwin McCain's "Guenivere". I was between my cariadwyn and my brother at that point. The song lyrics are linked at the bottom.
One of the earlier poems. I was at a down point and thought that I was the only person who really knew me and the only person I could depend on was me.
A guessing game. If I left the word "rose" out in the last line, you'd have to guess what I was writing about. Blame E-May for the idea, I got it from listening to one of hers at coffeehouse.
