Final Fantasy IX begins with you playing a character named Zidane, who is the visage of a young blonde boy with a monkey like tail. He is the hero, a pirate from a ship powered by a type of power called 'myst'. Zidane ends up in a mix up where he and some of his friends lose the ship in a crash after saving the princess of a castle where they are performing. A fight then ensues to stop the imposter Queen from having control, and finally the princess named Garnet is taken to the throne at the end of the game. |
