Schoonheid? - Amber

Droomboom - Amber

Als ik droom
Verdwijnt alles
Verbleekt iedereen vervaagd

Allemaal andere kleuren
Te veel om op te noemen

Een boom die nooit sterft
Die niemand kan zien
Die 's nachts tot leven komt
En al mijn dromen verft

Elke nerf een uur
Elk blad een dag
Elke tak een jaar
Een boom van eeuwige duur

Verdriet - Amber

In het donker durf ik huilen
Wanneer niemand me stoort
In het donker durf ik zeggen
Wat overdag niemand hoort

Duizend tranen op mijn huid
Die verdwijnen in het licht
Al mijn woede moet eruit
Proef het zout op mijn gezicht

Mijn knuffels komen tot leven
En verjagen de donkere nacht
Gered door egels en beren
Getroost door hun warme vacht

In het donker kan ik huilen
Zonder angst, zonder spijt
In het donker kan ik zeggen
Wat overdag niemand begrijpt

The Raven - Edgar Allan Poe

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I
pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume
of forgotten lore--
While I nodded, nearly napping,
suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping
at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered,
"tapping at my chamber door--
Only this and nothing more."

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the
bleak December;
And each separate dying ember wrought
its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; --vainly I
had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow--
sorrow for the lost Lenore--
For the rare and radiant maiden whom
the angels name Lenore--
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken, sad, uncertain rustling
of each purple curtain
Thrilled me--filled me with fantastic
terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my
heart, I stood repeating
"'Tis some visitor entreating entrance
at my chamber door--
Some late visitor entreating entrance
at my chamber door; --
This it is and nothing more."

Presently my soul grew stronger;
hesitating then no longer,
"Sir," said I, "or Madam, truly your
forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so
gently you came rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping,
tapping at my chamber door,
That I scarce was sure I heard you" --
here I opened wide the door; --
Darkness there and nothing more.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I
stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal
ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the
stillness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the
whispered word "Lenore!"
This I whispered, and an echo murmured
back the word "Lenore!"
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my
soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat
louder than before.
"Surely," said I, "surely that is
something at my window lattice
Let me see, then, what thereat is, and
this mystery explore--
Let my heart be still a moment and this
mystery explore; --
"'Tis the wind and nothing more!"

Open here I flung the shutter, When,
with many a flirt and flutter
In there stepped a stately Raven of the
Saintly days of yore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a
minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mein of lord or lady, perched
above my chamber door--
Perched upon my bust of Pallas just
above my chamber door--
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad
fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the
countenance it wore,
"Though thy crest be shorn and shaven,
thou," I said, "art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and ancient Raven
wandering from the Nightly shore--
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the
Night's Plutonian shore!"
Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore."

Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to
hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning--
little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no
living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird
above his chamber door--
Bird or beast upon the sculptured bust
above his chamber door,
With such name as "Nevermore."

But the Raven, sitting lonely on the
placid bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that
one word he did outpour.
Nothing farther then he uttered--not a
feather then he fluttered--
Till I scarcely more than muttered"
Other friends have flown before--
On the morrow he will leave me, as my
hopes have flown before."
Then the bird said "Nevermore."

Startled at the stillness broken by
reply so aptly spoken,
"Doubtless," said I, "what it utters is
its only stock and store
Caught from some unhappy master whom
unmerciful Disaster
Followed fast and followed faster till
his songs one burden bore--
Till the dirges of his Hope that
melancholy burden bore
Of 'Never--nevermore.'"

But the Raven still beguiling all my
sad soul into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in
front of bird, and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook
myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this
ominous bird of yore--
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly,
gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
meant in croaking "Nevermore."

This I sat engaged in guessing, but no
syllable expressing
To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned
into my bosom's core;
This and more I sat divining, with my
head at ease reclining
On the cushion's velvet lining that the
lamp-light gloated o'er,
But whose velvet violet lining with the
lamp-light gloating o'er,
She shall press, ah, nevermore!

Then, methought, the air grew denser,
perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphim whose foot-falls
tinkled on the tufted floor.
"Wretch," I cried, "Thy God hath lent
thee--by these angels he hath sent thee
Respite--respite and nepenthe from thy
memories of Lenore,
Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe and
forget this lost Lenore!"
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!
prophet still, if bird or devil!--
Whether Tempest sent, or whether
tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this
desert land enchanted--
On this home by Horror haunted--tell me
truly, I implore--
Is there-- is there balm in Gilead?--
tell me-- tell me, I implore!"
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil! - prophet still,
if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God
we both adore --
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant
Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name
Lenore --
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels
name Lenore."
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

"Be that word our sign of parting, bird
or fiend!" I shrieked, upstarting--
"Get thee back into the tempest and the
Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that
lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! --quit the
bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and
Take thy form from off my door!"
Quoth the Raven "Nevermore."

And the Raven, never flitting, still is
sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above
my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a
demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming
throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that
lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted--nevermore!

Moods of a woman - ?

An angel of truth and a dream of fiction,
a woman is a bundle of contradiction,
she's afraid of a wasp, will scream at a mouse,
but will tackle her boyfriend alone in the house.
she'll take him for better, she'll take him for worse
she'll break open his head and then be his nurse
but when he's well and can get out of bed
she'll pick up the tea-pot and aim for his head.
beautiful and keenly sighted, yet blind,
crafty and cruel, yet simple and kind
she'll call him a king, then make him a clown,
raise him on a pedestal, then knock him flat down.
she'll inspire him to deeds that ennoble man,
or make him her lackey to carry her fan.
she'll run away from him and never come back
but if he runs away, then she'll be on his tracks
sour as vinegar, sweet as a rose,
she'll kiss you one minute, then turn up her nose,
she'll win you in range, enchant you in silk,
she'll be stronger than brandy, milder than milk
at times she'll be vengeful, merry and sad,
she'll hate you like poison, and love you like mad.

Fairy tales and Pegasus - Sand

Feel me with your fingertips, hold me in your arms
Feel my breath upon your face, longing for your charms
Quiet anticipation, a heart that's full of love
Looking in your eyes and knowing there's a God

The earth is filled with wonder, I long to see it all
Feelings in my heart, trying not to fall
Tell me that you want me, take me by the hand
I'll lead you to a paradise that will make you glad again

Gentle kisses lingering softly on my lips
Looking in your eyes and knowing I've been kissed
The feel of you against my breast as I fall asleep each night
Waking in your arms and knowing everything's right

I believe in miracles, I believe in you
Telling me you love me and believing in me too
Fairy tales and Pegasus, stranger things come true
Longing to be in your arms making love to you

I went to a party mom - ?

I went to a party mom, I remember what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom so I drink Soda instead.
I really felt proud inside Mom, the way you said I would
I didn't drink and drive Mom, even through the others said I should.
I know I did the right thing Mom, I know you are always right,
Now the party is finally ending Mom, as everyone is driving out of sight.
As I got into my car Mom, I knew I'd get home in one piece
Because of the way you raised me, so responsible and sweet
I started to drive away Mom, but as I pulled out into the road
The other car didn't see me Mom, and bit me like a load
As I lay there on the pavement Mom, I hear the policeman say
"the other guy is drunk" Mom, and now I'm the one who will pay
I'm laying here dying Mom, I wish you'd get here soon
How could this happen to me Mom, My life just burst like a balloon,
There's blood all around me Mom and most of it is mine
I hear the medic say mom I'll die in a short time
I just wanted to tell you Mom, I swear I didn't drink
It was the others Mom, The others didn't think
He was probably at the same party as I
The only difference is Mom He drank and I will die
Why do people drink Mom, it can ruin your whole life
I'm feeling sharp pains now Mom, pains like a knife
The guy who hit me is walking away Mom, And I don't think it's fair
I'm lying here dying and all he can do is stare
Tell my brother not to cry Mom, Tell daddy to be brave
And when I got to heaven Mom, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave
Someone should have told him Mom, not to drink and drive
If only they had told him Mom, I would still be alive
My breath is getting shorter Mom, I'm becoming very scared
Please don't cry for me Mom, When I needed you, you were always there
I have one last question mom before I say good bye
I didn't drink and drive so why am I the one to die??

I'll Be Over You - Maria Christina Hodges

When I can say your name aloud
And not come all apart,
When I can realize you're gone
And pain grips not my heart,
And when I catch myself engaged
In memories of you,
And I can smile instead of cry
Will I be over you?

When in the hallways of my mind
Your voice reaches me,
And tears of weakness threaten not
To over power me,
And when I waken from the night
And long to start anew,
Instead of going back to sleep
Will I be over you?

When I have given up the breath
Of life once given me,
And nothing more is left behind
Except my memory,
And when in death my mind recalls
No single thought of you,
And every trace of you is gone
Then I'll be over you.

So, - ?

So,
after two iron years I've known you
here I stand,
with a bouquet of bleeding flowers
looking,just staring at the tombstone
with Your name on it,
and it had beautifully etched vines...
you were the friend then
So close...But so unruly
I was the rebel, you were pink and lace,
I was legos and blocks, you were barbie dolls
you went out dating,I was playing soccer
both only 14
I was you and you were me
now my half is gone
I say,
when you took your second to last breath,
I already took my last
when your eyes blinked for the last time
mine were already closed
Because when you were dying,
I was already dead

Written with a pen - ?

Written with a pen.
Sealed with a kiss.
If you are my friend,
Please answer this:

Are we friends
Or are we not?
You told me once
But I forgot.

So tell me now
And tell me true
So I can say....
I'm here for you.

Of all the friends
I've ever met,
You're the one
I won't forget.

And if I die
Before you do,
I'll go to heaven
And wait for you.

I'll give the angels
Back their wings
And risk the loss
Of everything,

just to prove my
friendship is true.
to have a friend like you!

Untiteled - ?

Give me a kiss, add to that kiss a score;
Then to that twenty, add a hundred more:
A thousand to that hundred: so kiss on,
To make that thousand up a million.
Treble that million, and when that is done,
Let's kiss afresh, as when we first begun.

Cruel me suis, et requiers votre grâce,

Désir m'enflamme, et crainte me rend glace,
