Taraboners

Tarabon is mostly flat with some forests and often hot and humid. Most Taraboners prefer to live along the coast where there is a sea breeze to lift the humidity. The largest city, Tanchico, is one of the oldest cities in the Westlands and is a center for trade over the known world.

Taraboner Society

Tarabon and Arad Doman are locked in an ongoing war and neither would enter the other’s land for fear of his life. Taraboners have elaborate and rigorus social codes, unwilling to show their faces to anyone other than their families and addressing each other with long titles. Taraboners enjoy politics, while not as sublte as the Carihienin Daes de’Mar.

Taraboner Traditions

1. Taraboners are famous for their tradition of covering their faces, always with veils and often with masks.
2. Many festivals which involve costumes and masks.
