Second Infantry Division patroled the DMZ rotating infantry battalions from their various base camps.Only a short time after arriving in country, March 1979. I went from Camp Hovey to Camp Liberty Bell

DMZ SCOUT

I served as a medic 91B10 with Headquarters Company 1st Battalion 23rd Infantry Tomahawks
I was attached to Combat Support Company while they were based at Camp liberty Bell. I served with the Four Deuce Mortar Platoon and made patrols with the Scout Platoon.

1991 saw an end to DMZ patrols by the Second Infantry Division
