Beverly was made a Ghoul in 1946 and Embraced four years later at the age of 29. She was born in London, England to a well-to-do family. She was evacuated to Canada during the famous London Blitz of 1940 and went to school in Quebec. She studied Business and Pre-Law; excelling at both. She seemed to have a knack for cutting through the bureaucracy and a good head for corporate finance. She often said with a smile, if my figure opens doors for me then heaven help them when I get inside. Her family were major share holders in the British Hawker Aircraft Company. Who manufactured the Hawker Huricane of Battle of Britain fame and more recently the VSTOL Hawker Harrier.
In 1943 Clan Toreador had been evaluating the law student who had fallen head over heals in love with a Wilderness type from Alaska. Not only was he a commoner but a half-American, or Colonial as some of the Elders still thought of the United States. When he enlisted they thought it would end but such was not the case. The end of the war saw the new lawyer starting to make a name for herself in the court system as a cunning prosecutor and running for political office as well. Her Toreador mentor turned her into a ghoul and pursuaded her that Alex could no longer be part of her life.
The next few years saw her drop out out of active legal practice to learn the ways of Clan Toreador. She was actively courted for her beauty and her legal skills by a Ventrue Ancillae Jussac de Rochefort and even had a brief affair with him. It bruised Jussac's ego immemnsely that she had broken it off first.
Still the affair concerned the Toreadors enough to embrace her earlier than planned.
During the 50's and 60's she studied and learned the politics of Clan Toreador. Her brush with the Ventrue made her devote time to keeping her relationships with corporate ties and legal friends cordial. Many of the them were now well advanced into the system as judges and CEO's with considerable clout.
The next thirty years saw her devote considerable legal time and effort to environmemtal matters and in paticuler the Alaskan Wilderness. She tried to tell herself that her passion for Alex had nothing to do with it but she knew she was kidding herself. He must be an old man by now she though. Still she wanted to see him one last time. Arrangements were made for a group of environmentalists to travel to Alaska for wildlife photography.
When she met Alex he was as young as the day he had gone to war. She doesn't know if a Gangrel and Toreador can spend the rest of their unlife together or if the Clan elders will even permit them to try. Still she has moved to Anchorage used family assets to acquire a mansion and plans to resume her legal and political careers. Strangely she feels more at home in Alex's Hunting lodge than in the city despite his Harem / Herd staff.
