The park consists of an outside street course featuring a pyramid, a big flat bank, a very small flat bank, a jump ramp that's cool for transfers to the big flat bank and a slide/grind box. Bremerton Public Skatepark
    Bremerton, WA
The Park is at the Kitsap Family YMCA. Go across the Washington Manette Bridge from the Ferry side. Take a left at the end onto Wheaton Way N. About 1 mile down the road you'll get to Homer Jones Dr. & Magnusson Way. Up the hill to your right is the park and the YMCA. There is a cement pyramid, a 6' wedge, a wide quarter pipe with good coping. There is a built in metal rail about 8 feet long and a foot high in the flat and a jump ramp built into the ground about 1 1/2' high.

    Des Moines Public Skatepark
    Des Moines, WA
Free, concrete and no pads. The best thing it has is the funbox. It's a standard eight sided bank design but with a little tranny at the base and at the lip making it extra fast and poppy. On one whole side of the park is a tight four foot wall that is pretty weird. On the opposite side there is a three foot wedge in one corner and a right angle two foot trannyed platform which is smooth. Also there is a marble edged platform and a small table top on the other two sides. Directions: South on SR 99 from Seattle, pass the airport and follow the signs to Des Moines You'll start on Des Moines Memorial Dr.. Follow this until you get to a real busy intersection and hang a left. Just after you get through the intersection ( approx. 2 blocks). Make a left on 11th. Then go up a hill about 4 blocks and you'll see it on your right hand side at the top of the street. Look for the water tower.

There is a 2ft tall rail, a rainbow shaped funbox, and a wall ride ramp up against a concrete sound wall. Itís free and all the ramps are layered in metal.

    Issaquah Skatepark
    Issaquah, WA
Free, no pads, outdoor, dusk to dawn, and concrete. It has a perfect horseshoe bowl, three foot mini, pyramid of death, three foot roll out deck between quarter and the mini which acts as a spine, high and low stacked boxes with metal edging, and a dinky handrail. The transitions are good, all coping is fast and correctly laid. and the park itself is free and is open dusk til dawn. To get there, take I-90, Front Street Exit (if you're coming from the east, turn left. From the west, turn right.) Follow Front Street past Gilman Boulevard and Sunset Way, and take the first left after Sunset Way (I think it's called SE Lake St.) The skatepark is behind the community center, at the end of the parking lot on the right.

    Kent Skatepark
    Kent, WA
Itís near the new Courthouse just off the 167 towards Kent. Also near a huge Park and Ride. There is a 3ft deep tight bowl that connects into an obstacle course containing a few rails, pyramids and ledges. There are also 2 nice hips going into the bowl and a tight wall in the street course. Highly recommended.

    Longview Public Skatepark
Longview, WA (south of Olympia and north of Vancouver ,WA) It contains a pyramid, a large quarter-pipe, and assorted smaller obstacles. Also, there is a really mellow snake run that winds down a 20ft. poop hill. The hips are about as flat as a driveway. From either North or South follow the Dike Access Rd. (Also know as HWY. 432) Take it beyond the Dike Access Road and it turns into Nickels. Keep heading straight on it until you hit Washington Way. Then Make a left. It's just down a little ways on the left side of the Street. Officially at the corners of Washington Way and 28th.

    Moses Lake Public Skatepark
    Moses Lake, WA
Taking I-90 east, get off at Moses Lake's main exit, Highway 171. Head North. make a right onto 3rd street when the road splits. And just past the junior high school on the right is the street called Dogwood. Make a right and youíre in sight of the park from there.(Dogwood & 4th) This park features a 22ft wide mini-ramp covered in steel , a raised slider bar, and some good parking blocks. There is a ramp up to a box with a rail back down the other side and there is a built in launch ramp. The mini ramp has bad seam problems but is manageable.

    Mount Vernon Public Skatepark
    Mount Vernon, WA
The street course is minimal although there is smooth concrete. The lip up the wedge box has been bent a little so there is a small gap. The Mini-ramp is four feet tall and 16 feet wide and has a slippery metal surface. It joins up with a spine and 90 degree hip. The larger mini-ramp is 6 feet tall and 32 feet wide. From Interstate 5 get off in the Mount Vernon City Center Exit. Head East! Go for about 1 or 2 miles east then make a left turn when you get to Laventure. Go down that street for a little ways then you'll hit Fur St. Go Right. About 1 mile up is the Baker View Park on your left. Pull in there and you should already see the ramps. Bring a soda along to shake & spray onto the slippery metal.

From Interstate 5 take the highway 16 that heads towards Bremerton. When you see the word "FOSS" on your right about 2 or 4 miles down the hwy, Get off the hwy. Itís behind the stadium. ( I think its Cheeny Stadium) Just drive around the stadium and you'll see it on the North End in the parking lot. This park has a nice pyramid, a couple of good size boxes on either end that vary between transition & slant, and a little half pipe about 18' wide with real long tranny's. There is also a tight pyramid in the center of it all that is real hard to use. This one is worth going to if youíre in the vicinity.

    Wenatchee Public Skatepark
    Wenatchee, WA
The bowl is about 7 foot deep with a channel and a spine. The pyramid has a good amount of room around it with a nicely placed cement ledge at the top. There is a BIG hip for blasting over ( about 5-6 feet high) then there is a tall quarter that is grindable with a lower quarter next to that that has a good hip off of it. All this is surrounded with a 2-3 foot high bowl that even wraps around the deep bowl There is a little 3 way prong pyramid. Go to the eastern side of town and turn right on the last big light. Go up the street about 2 miles and it's in a big park on your right. Highly recommended.

Skating in D.C. is now a bust. Cops will arrest you and they will ticket you - and not just at Pulaski, but any federal building or monument. Watch out for DCPD and park police, they both can hurt you. Metro police have no power, don't worry about them unless they call in the real guys.

Just a piece of concrete that used to be the flat bottom of the ramp, a jump ramp, a crappy pyramid with sides that have 90 degree angles, a bar and a not so fun box.
