The actors, singers and musicians are all professional performers with a wealth of experience in all-age entertainment from the raucous world of Victorian music hall to modern day.
Founded and developed by actress/singer/writer Lynn Radnedge, Silvery Moon Productions creates inter-active singalong shows from a nostalgic treasure chest of music, anecdotes and costumes.
Since its launch in 2001 the company has performed throughout the country in theatres, National Trust and English Heritage venues and outdoor festivals, plus a week at the Edinburgh Festival July 2005.
Shows can be tailor-made to suit any audience or time slot and the company can be booked as a package of five, four or two artistes.
Lynn, Silvery Moon’s writer/director also offers one woman shows in a variety of styles and personalised songs for special occasions. LET YOURSELF GO – A tribute to the golden era of Hollywood with 40 well-known songs from Singin’ in the Rain to Oklahoma. The key word is glamour as the company brings to life some of the legends of the big screen including Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Alice Faye and Al Jolson whose lives were as glamorous as the sets and costumes.
THE ANNIVERSARY WALTZ – A celebration of the Queen and Prince Philip’s diamond wedding in November with songs and anecdotes commemorating their very special love story. The music reflects key stages of their full and dramatic lives from their meeting in 1939 - when she was a skinny 13-year-old and he a handsome naval officer -with photographs and costumes to complement the changing scenes.
WHEN THE POPPIES BLOOM AGAIN – A poignant musical journey via the happy and sad songs – and the stories behind them - which link the two World Wars with a host of well-known tunes from Tipperary to We’ll Meet Again. Ideal for Remembrance Day November 11 and a curtain raiser for the 90th anniverary of the end of World War I in 2008.
