THE COMPANY
Tricia
Dibb and Lynn Radnedge created the company two years ago after discovering a
shared love of music hall and Victorian/Edwardian entertainment while appearing
in a play together. Accomplished
actors and singers they shared their enthusiasm with pianist Barbara Hartridge,
who had been associated with Hoxton Hall for many years, and Music Hall
historian Mike Francis. Lynn’s
husband, Keir, a journalist and singer who used to run his own folk club, makes
up the quintet. Tricia
Dibb, co-director,
performs on stage, in film and television, in corporate videos and commercials.
She completed a two-year performing arts course as a mature student and is an
experienced solo singer and songshows producer. An Equity member, she has a
successful one-woman show based on popular Victorian music and is committed to
the preservation of Old Time Music Hall. Lynn
Radnedge,
a former journalist, enjoys writing and producing shows, has created musical
scripts for children’s television and, with husband Keir, has performed to
audiences in the London area for the past 20 years. An Equity member, she
trained at the London and International School of Acting, performs regularly in
Music Hall revues and undertakes theatrical roles, adverts, film and TV extra
work.
Barbara
Hartridge is well-known to Hoxton supporters, having been involved in
Music Hall and drama productions at the theatre for a number of years. She is an
accomplished writer and musician who performs regularly and is a professional
piano and singing teacher. Mike
Francis is a Music Hall historian, who has a wealth of experience
as a chairman, performer and director, including a week’s run at the
prestigious Players Theatre Music Hall venue in the West End
He has written two plays, one of which was produced in video format for
school use.
