THIS IS A NON PROFIT
ORGANIZATION M.O.M.S. {Mother's Of Military Support} has become a F.A.M. {Families Attached to Military} affiliate. We work side by side, as a team, to assure that care packages and letters are being sent to our troops. Welcome aboard Lizzie!!
My name is Elizabeth Johnston. I am the Marine Mom of Lance Corporal Joseph C. Paul. My son left for Kuwait the middle of January. He had the opportunity to come home for a short stay the end of December. When he arrived, he came to me, layed his head on my chest and we wept quietly as I held the the 6'4 220lbs Marine in my arms. This man will always be my baby. I requested to him, that if he didn't come home, he come to me in my dreams throughout my life time. He promised. I also asked him what, if anything, I could do as I felt helpless in all of this. He said, "Mom, just support all of us."
On Feb. 13, 2003, my birthday, a gift hit me. Feeling helpless and missing him terribly, I was frustrated at not knowing how to support them. As I drove down the road the thought of sending 100,000 'Care Packs' hit me like a ton of bricks. These Soldiers have put duty before life. For me, my friends, family and the rest of the United States. With your help, I believe we can give these men and women some comfort of home. They cannot take showers every day as there is not the facilities to do so. The purchase of one 'Care Kit' will make a big difference.
Thank you ......Lizziee
