My eternal good friend Michael and his good wife Lisa arriveth from their "hunting village" to the east to see the great festival of New Market Village.  I have known Michael even before I knew how to duel. In fact, Captain Gareth, Michael and I all learned to duel at the same time from the same master.  I tell Michael that he and his good woman may travel in festival clothes if they so desired, but they decide otherwise.  Upon arriving at the gathering point, Sir Richard's dwelling, both Michael and Lisa are surprised at our numbers.  In fact, we must travel in two coaches.

No sooner have we arrived at the festival, that the group separates.  Lady Mary and I travel with Sir Michael and Lisa.

Hey guys!  Hi Bob!
Who better to tickle your funny bone than Ded BobWe find Ded Bob bobidizing new followers. This undead hast the best taste in women.

Unlike the actual Globe Theater, pillows are not needed for the patrons as benches has been provided. The actual Globe Theater opened in 1599 with about 3000 patrons. In 1633, the theater burned down but was rebuilt. The Puritans closed it down in 1642. Today a replica of the Globe Theater has been built near the original site

We finally watch "Cast in Bronze" perform at the Sherwood Stage. Long before, you could find Robin Hood and his Merry Men here, but no longer.  "Cast in Bronze" was a new act last year. Michael and Lisa have seen him perform at the Canterbury Shire (the only other festival he plays at) and are intrigued by his music. The carillon is loud and many do not sit near the speakers for fear of becoming deaf.  The masked "spirit" plays the carillon to the sounds of familiar music. Oft to the right of the stage, an assistant sells flat platters called CDs.

We journey through Sherwood Forest to watch the falconer from Birds of Prey exercise his birds. A rescued red tailed hawk plays with the falconer as it keeps its distance high in the trees. A young vulture spreads her great wings to sun herself.

As we make our way to the exit, we indulge ourselves with candied almonds and make our farewells.

I shalt see thee anon!
