World Information

On the ever changing planet known as Earth, many races vie for superiority. Each, with it's own unique advantages and disadvantages, has not managed to gain enough of an upper hand to take over. These are the selectable player races.

Icer - This tyrannical yet lazy race of humanoids came to Earth in an attempt to conquer the fertile world. Success was at hand, when from among their ranks, division appeared, the saiya-jins.
The exact details of the insuing conflict have been lost over the years, but after the horrific battles were over with, the weakened Icer race claimed the Northern and Southern poles of the earth, preferring the colder regions as they reminded them of space. After decades of relative quiet, many believe sheer apathy has kept this formidable race from completely taking over, that and the total population is on opposite sides of the earth.

Saiya-jin - Ambition burns like a silent inferno in the heart of every saiya-jin, a constant reminder of what they are, and where they should be in the scheme of things.
After their battle with the Icers, in which the bulk of their army had been crushed, the survivors (still many thousand strong) scattered to the winds, inhabitating mostly jungle and tropical areas. Soon the divided people formed into clans for more security, and as it stands now, the earth is dotted with dozens upon dozens of saiya-jin communities. Communication is almost non-existant, so the varying groups remain independant. All attempts to unite them have led to assassination or tribal warfare.

Changelings (Zarbon's race) - This fair skinned, charismatic race serves as personal retainers, for the most part, to the Icers. Brought to earth to suppliment the invading armies ranks, the changelings soon adapted to life on earth by capturing a large portion of the human race as slaves. Intrigued by the idea, the Icers began to keep human slaves as well. Consequently, nearly 80% of humans on earth have been subjugated, and now serve both races in a miserable life revolving around menial labor and arbitrary punishment at the hands of bored masters.

Humans - Happily existing on Earth long before the Icer invasion, humans are by far the most adaptable, and also, the quickest reproducers. No match for the other races in combat, the humans utilized their technological skills and created an army of androids to fight for them. However, what warning they had was barely enough time to complete the production of only one series, which was, obviously, not enough.
Despite their bad luck in regards to prep time, the humans were presented with a reprieve of sorts in the saiya-jin rebellion. Concentrating on them, the Icers were momentarily distracted enough to allow the humans to produce yet another series of androids. With the combined forces of two batches, the humans attacked.
Only a handfull of androids returned.

Androids - *[Number] indicates priority level.

  • Mission Type - Seek and Destroy
  • Target - Icer[1], Changeling[2], Saiya-jin[3].
  • Weapon Incoding - Combat Knife, Heavy Assault Rifle, Hand gun, Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Flame thrower.
  • Success - Return to base, and await further incoding.

This is the initial combat directive of an android. This programming was soon thereafter bypassed by the androids themselves, and a new programing type was introduced.

    Independent AI.

The androids had evolved in a sense, and were now conscious beings capable of creative thought. The first act as a sentient creature was to pull back from the slaughter in which they had no reason to be a part of. Second, escape. Last, increase their numbers. So it was that the Icers found themselves able to fully concentrate on the saiya-jins, and the tide of battle came to a stalemate.

Half Saiya-jins - An odd mixture considering the current state of the world, but it still happens on a semi-regular basis. Half Saiya-jin's are rarely accepted for what they are, and normally drummed out of the village/encampment when the truth is found out. However, this can be avoided with skillfull subterfuge as a half-saiyajin looks like a human, or a saiya-jin, with a few exceptions. For instance, humans do not have tails, this is common knowledge. So, a half saiya-jin attempting to live in a human community would have to either A) Hide his tail, and let no one see it, or B) Cut it off. The same goes for a saiya-jin tribe, except they do in fact have tails so the only thing you need to worry about is mainly hair color. Ninety nine percent of all saiya-jins have black or dark brown hair. As a side effect of intermixing, fifty percent of half saiya-jins are born with a human hair color. This does not have to be the human mother or father in question, in fact the possibilities stretch back far into the genealogic history of that humans ancestory.
