Fly into ONT (Ontario, CA) or Palm Springs (PSP) - but rent a car - shuttle is expensive.
All exhibitors agree by entry to abide by and uphold the show rules of TICA. Show rules and registration information may be obtained from TICA Executive Office, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551. Cost is $7.
To register your cat with TICA, send a copy of registration certificate showing you as owner of cat with a 5 generation certified pedigree with a check for $12 to TICA, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, Texas 78551. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. Per TICA rules, you may show your cat one time without a registration number; however, the cat must be registered before any wins will be scored by TICA. This show will be scored for TICA International and Regional wins.
Entries are payable even if cat is not benched and benching will be refused unless all fees are paid. Please make checks payable to Kat Knappers Cat Club in US funds. There will be a $25 charge for returned checks, plus the original check amount.
Every effort will be made to accommodate benching requests, but the club cannot make any guarantees.
Cages are 36"wx24"hx27"d, single-door, no divider-style cages. One cage per entry. No extra half cages
. If you are bringing your own cage, it must fit within the 36" area. We WILL be limited on space so PLEASE plan on using the cages provided if at all possible. Please bring your own cage covers. Cages must be covered on three sides and the top. If your cage is larger, you will incur a fee to accomodate the space of 45".
CAT SUPPLIES
Cat litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans and cat food. People food will be available from the kitchen. There are restaurants by the motels (4 miles) Hadley's is nearby.
"For Sale/Grooming/ & Exhibition Only" will be available IF SPACE ALLOWS. These extra cages will be on a "first come" basis. Cages will be available to exhibitors only unless special arrangements are made with the show manager. You must submit an entry form for each "Exhibition/For Sale" entry...mark the entry Exhibition/For Sale across the top of the form. All cats must have catalog numbers to be in the show hall (whether named or not). Kittens MUST be 3 months old to enter the show hall. NO KITTENS or CATS may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under bench, during show hours.
...over 8 months of age must be neutered or spayed.
This is a non-vetted show. All cats must be fully immunized and current. All entries must be free of fungus, parasites, and not showing any signs of illness. ALL CLAWS MUST BE CLIPPED PRIOR TO BENCHING.
Please indicate on your Summary Form if you are available for clerking. Clerks will receive $25 on for Sat. &/or Sunday + lunch, a marked catalog with their breed(s) & finals. Stewards will be paid $15 per day, per ring plus lunch. You will be paid daily. Please do NOT deduct your fees from your entry.
