July 19: Former Senators pitcher Bob Humphreys signed my CIC and sent me an additional card because we are both Hokies. He lives about an hour from me so the response time was simply 3 days. Alex Liddi signed in 8 days c/o the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and Doug Brocail and former Yankee Archie Moore sent me 5 signed index cards in 5 months from his home.
July 14: Yesterday I went to the Astros/Nationals game was able to get Doug Brocail for my set. Chad Paronto also signed. Ryan Ouellette signed 1 card in 10 days c/o Frederick.
July 9: For my set: Lee Smith. I sent my request to Louisiana, but the return postmark was from Arizona.
July 7: For my set: Mark Gardner. A nice return from Medal of Honor winner Bernard Fisher. He signed a index card in 7 months from his home in Idaho. Also Louisville Bats hitting coach Smokey Garrett signed 1 card in 16 days c/o the Bats.
June 28: For my set: Harold Baines and Darren Daulton. 2 former Twins pitchers Buzz Stephen signed in 2 weeks from home and Rich Reese in 15 days from home.
June 14: For my set: Ryan Jones, also former Yankee, Orioles, and Red Sox pitcher Bill Short signed in 11 days from home.
June 13: Two for my set: Ryne Sandberg and Randy Velarde.
June 11: Former Yankee Gordie Windhorn signed a CIC in 5 days from home along with another Yankee Johnny James in 7 days from his home in Arizona.
June 6: For my set: Orlando Cabrera.
June 2: For my set: Mike Sweeney.
