Do you see the
shadows in my eyes,
Can you see through those tears that you cry,
Will you be there as I die,
So that someone may hear my final goodbye?I never wanted to leave you

I never planed to make you grieve,
There are times that I wish I could have just flown,
And just taken a leave.
But it seems that my love for you got in the way,
I wanted to make sure you saw another day,
Even if it cost me the ultimate price,
But if it meant that you would be safe I would have paid it twice
Those eyes that I see every day,
Even as the clutch of death takes me from you,
Their shine never seems to go away,
As they guide me with their hue.
Life seems to be full of her cruel tricks it seems,
But that never stops you from being in my dreams,
You’re the only thing it my life that I hold dear,
And because of you my vision can’t be clear.

There are some things that blinds the fool,
But I couldn’t stand to see your world shatter,

innocent as a dove.
