Darkness gives flight to fantasy
Drawing you into my ecstasy
My queen of the night
Making wrong what is my right

You destroy my morals and beliefs
Yet this causes me no grief
Why do I not fight away your vial night
Why do I do nothing as you turn me into your dark knight

I fall away from the light in a blind fashion
And embrace you and your poisonous passion
A paladin of the day that foolishly turns away
With a false love that makes night seem of day

A fool who would give up all that he would hold dear
Just so that he could hold you near
