Dear Members,
re. Mr. J. Lowe’s Disciplinary Hearing
Please excuse my son, John (better known as Mr. Lowe) for not able to attend today’s VICE meeting. Unfortunately he has a severe cold, a sore throat, a very high temperature, a runny nose and has been advised to avoid any unnecessary stress. However, I have decided to allow him to visit The Orange House and other premises in Wind Street this evening in the hope that they will prove to be therapeutic and remedial.
Unfortunately, his wife, Ann (better known as
Mrs. Lowe) has also contracted a severe chest infection and has been advised by
her G P. to wrap-up and avoid any unnecessary exposure.
I would therefore wish to recommend that this
evening’s demonstration should be deferred to another more suitable occasion
and venue
With reference to my son’s polite, friendly,
supportive but sometimes serious nature, I have asked him, from this moment
forthwith, to change dramatically. In the future he will show no respect for bar
staff and attempt to acquire a hateful, horrible but light-hearted attitude.
What’s new’? I ask myself.
I trust that this will be acceptable to members.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs. E. Lowe
(Mr. Lowe’s mother)
