Here is the stock exhaust.
Step One...
Removing the stock muffler.
The biggest pain in the but was removing the two bolts from the flange connecting the pipe to the muffler. I tried doing it by hand, but that wasn't working. So i resorted to the good ol' Impact drill to loosen them. :-)
So once those bolts were off and i was able to get the muffler off of the hangers, it looked like this.
I started it up at this point and BOY o' BOY was it loud! Very cool....but loud.

Now in with the new muffler.
All in all I like it a LOT! It sounds a lot better than all of the other rice-grinder exhausts that sound like a "Kazoo in a coffee can" (Thaddeus, 2002).
Next install will be the Springs!
